I agree on the powder root stuff it can come pouring out and it isn’t cheap. What I did was put scotch tape over half the holes. This helped me tremendously

One of my best friends asked about what products I used. I gave her mine (have two extra at home) and she LOVES it. Even took to her Hair dresser and asked her to use it when she was styling her hair. Hair stylist LOVED It as well. So thanks for all the tips!

Testing these products in the GA humidity was a great idea! I live north of Atlanta and just as many of us have different skincare needs for our “winter skin” vs “summer skin” I find that I have “winter hair” and “summer hair.” Not that I necessarily use different hair products each season but there’s a bit more of a struggle to maintain good volume and lift for my pixie in 100 degree humid weather! I might have to give the powder a try. Thank you for your tips as always!

I love Big Sexy hair product. Been using it for years and knock on wood it never damaged my hair. I wash my hair, towel dry and apply the blue hard up gel. I use about nickel size amount of it in my hands, rub it together then spread it in my hair, blow dry, style and finish with play harder hairspray. Sometimes I’ll add Garnier Fructis sleek and shine for little shine or OGX bamboo fiber big hair spray for better hold. Lately I discovered CHI volume and helmet head hairsprays that worked very well and smelled delicious. Never tried the Big Sexy powder so that will be on my list to buy next. Thanks for sharing Sharalees, you are beautiful.

I've used the Masterpiece shine for about 3 yrs. I love that stuff! My hair is long and fine so some products I use make it look dull, but I always use shine as my finish. It's the only shine product I've ever used that doesn't make my hair look stringy and oily. Oily scalp has been my life long nemesis. I have to find that powder texturizer. I've used one by Lanza (chartreuse shaker) for a decade but Ulta's stock has been hit and miss for a cpl yrs.

My hair is ridiculously fine and pretty thin. Often slips out of the iron. I have tried a few of these mentioned with very good luck. I really like both the powder play and powder play light for texture. Those are both awesome and Ulta usually has the travel size. So easy to carry with you. Hairspray I'm still trying to find a more affordable option but mostly use Kendra 25. It lasts me about 6 months. Thank you for sharing all these great products. Your hair is adorable!

I just received the Redkin Volume Injection shampoo and conditioner and the Sexy Hair Big Root Pump. I am hoping it will help! I have fine hair and it seems thinner than it used to be (I turned 71 yesterday). I love your hair and love how mine looks short from the FRONT, but when it's spiked I can see way too much of my scalp through in the back, plus I have some cowlicks, and I feel very self-conscious about it. I have tried off and on to let it grow longer, but the cowlicks are still there and then it parts down the middle in the back. I don't remember having this problem when my hair was long a few years ago. And it takes FOREVER to grow. At least when it's short and spiked and I use enough product it will stay in place! I have tried Kaboki fibers, but they tend to come off and I find dark stuff on my face! Once when I used it before I went to the chiropractor, it came off on the paper on the table and I was embarrassed! I recently found some Clairol Root Touch-Up at a local grocery salvage store (for 49 cents!) but it wasn't working well for me, as I could see right where I sprayed it. The last couple of days I have tried putting it in wet hair and spreading it around with my fingers and it seems to work much better. But somedays I would just like a wig!! I guess I need to accept that I'm an old fat lady with thin hair and not worry so much about it 😕

I used the root boost and LOVE it. I also love the dry wax, but it makes my hair look very dull. I know it is matte. Can you recommend a wax that is similar that does make my hair somdull looking?

Sharalee, You've just got Texas hair!!!! LOL😆🤣🤣 Thank you for your great suggestions for hair. I love Catwalk Root Boost. It's the BEST on the market, in my opinion, too. I'll have to try the Kenra Nitro Memory Creme, for the middle to tips of my hair. Your knowledge of products blow me away. Thank you for sharing and helping all of your Subscribers, like you do. We all love you soooo much, Sweet Friend. Take care and praying 🙏 you get better soon. Love ya, KIMBER (Your Austin, Texas Sister in Beauty)🤗😘🥰

I have fine hair, but at the age of 66 it decided to go curly. I just tried the Enjoy texturing cream. Worked like a charm. Abel to crunch the curls, and lasted all day.

Funny, I’m 67 and my hair did the same thing a few years ago. I had long hair for a few years and it fell in loose ripples but, when I got it cut, the curls sprang right up! Now it is wild and crazy and I need to get control of it. I love this lady’s haircut.

Sharalee, you always do such a great job on reviewing products and giving us your honest opinion. I was wondering if you have ever reviewed any of the products that are supposed to help with the crepe skin. I have noticed that as I age my arms look awful. Maybe some of your followers have tried some of those products and can give some insight as to their benefits. Thank you for all that you do, you save us a great deal of money by buying products with a proven tract record.

Thank you for your kind words and for the video request! I've not reviewed any products for crepey skin but think that is a great idea!! I've already noticed a loss of elasticity in certain areas and would love to find a solution💗

I have fine hair and am a hairspray snob. They either don't hold or make my hair stiff. I currently like the Amika Headstrong Hairspray. I will try a few of the root boost, memory cream, and the hairsprays you recommend. I think I am currently trying to get the hairspray to hold my hair, along with a mousse, where perhaps other products can do that heavy lifting. Do you know if the Redkin Injection Shampoo and Conditioner are okay for colored hair?

Thank you!! I have thick hair but my stylist has mentioned in several of my salon visit videos that this style can work well on fine hair too....it just might need a little more deep point cutting and texturizing😘
