Absolutely beautiful! I'm inspired to try this and I'm impressed by the liberal use of alcohol to fade out. Haven't tried adding the metallic with the ink, another first. Thank you.
I especially appreciate the comments you make about technique as you proceed. For folks new to alcohol inks, they are SO helpful. I agree that the combination of these T Rex colors is outstanding.
Your work is absolutely stunning. I recently started experimenting with alcohol inks. I love the attitude of the inks. They certainly seem to have a mind of their own. I see you are using a hair dryer to push the inks. Can you tell me what brand you use? I looked at the info you posted and in the comments before I asked in case it had been answered.
Thank you so much for your kind words! 💕 I'm so glad you're enjoying alcohol inks too! ☺ The hair dryer / hot air brush is Quo brand. I've just added a link in the description for my web page - it has all my fave alcohol ink essentials, including the hot air brush. Here it is as well: tinairvine.com/supplies

Hi @jackieaikin3394, thank you for watching! I'm not sure. There's a link to the item on my supplies page if you want to try: tinairvine.com/supplies If it works to ship to the US, please let me know so I can pass this info on to anyone else who inquires. Thank you ☺
OMG, wth, Tina? Glad I found you. New to it all and wanna try it. I don't understand the blow dryer. Do you always use it on hot? Will any hair dryer work? Do you use or need an airbrush? Awesome! Thanks:)
Hi! Thank you so much for dropping by ☺ I normally use the hot air brush on cool. I haven't tried other hair dryers, but as long as it has a narrower tip, and a similar amount of air pressure, you'll have more control. I even use my heat gun but on the "cool down" setting. Some people love air brushes. I haven't used one in a while as I prefer the other tools. My favourite tools are listed here: tinairvine.com/supplies If you ever use anything with warmer temperatures, it will warp (or burn) papers. If you want to use a tiny bit of heat, test on a ceramic or other material that can withstand warmer temperatures. It will dry your ink faster though, so you'd have less work time. Alcohol + heat are not a great mix anyway.
I usually use Yupo but there are many other synthetic papers available. You can use alcohol ink on other non-porous materials too - ceramic tile, glass, etc. Thank you so much for watching! ☺
Hi Alex! Thank you so much for visiting ☺ If I miss mentioning any materials, everything is listed in the description above. The paper type that I used in this video is Yupo Medium :)
