Thanks for another great Demo, love the fact that you play clean with taste and class. So many Demo's are ruined by distorted guitars. Lovely playing dude.
At the very beginning of comparing the two pedals, it is felt that the Nux sounds more “crystal” and perfectly emphasizes the sound of the guitar. While the space echo creates absolute atmosphere and tries to resemble an old-school tape delay. Everyone chooses what they need
Well done with demo Bro. Quick question: Can the NUX ping pong the delay signal in stereo mode? I'm really leaning towards the NUX, not to say the RE-2 is lacking anything...
Thanks a lot! No man, both these pedals have no ping pong mode. But I can tell you that Nux has more stereo panorama than Boss. Expecially when increasing the reverb knob.
I don't feel big diferences in those pedals, I think both are great. May be the Boss a little nearest of the tape sound... With a most unstable signal and I don't like to much
I love both pedals. Especially NUX made such a great pedal for a really small price. At the end, It seems that the degradation of the repeats in the RE-2 sounds more complex. This reminds me more of old songs with the space echo. I would buy the Re-2. But the NUX is really cool . It even has more tweaking possibilities as Frank showed in another video (saturation, wow and flutter apart). It depends on what you think is important.
@@olsza6969 I don't have a Nux tape echo On the internet I looked it up. Was not completely clear, but I have the impression it hasn't got analog dry through nor true bypass. But the owner of the channel can maybe say more about this. It has kill dry though.
La diferencia entre Nux y el nux tape core, son los controles directos de reverb y ecualización? Tengo el tape core y creo que es buena la calidad precio que ofrece. Como entras en este Nux a los controles de flutter y wow?
The Nux sounds like the tape delay mode of a digital delay, it lacks the ugliness and instability one would want from a tape echo. For me it's Boss all the way, you can go full Boards of Canada with it after 10 min tweaking.
@@stevendavidson391exactly. Of course it's just my taste but I like gear with a strong self defining sound. Some pedals are great for their mojo like this Boss, which always reminds me of Syd Barrett in The Piper at the Gates of Dawn Others are just great all arounders like the Zoom Ms70CDR (I think that's its name) incredibly good effects (a lot of them!) for every situation, flexibility and fx chaining in a single small unit.

At the same time, nux also allows you to make this atmosphere of an old-school tape if you want
Did you have the flutter and wow set at the same level as the nux in this vid? Because it look like the RE2 has it maxed
This^^^
I think the NUX is a bit warmer and more 3D sounding. I'll be getting the NUX.

@@PerryFrank Much appreciated the feedback Bro. You've helped me make my decision. Also, your clean tone tactics were freak'in AWESOME 👌

The sound of NUX with time on minimum sounds crazy good. It's like it is a separate feature of the pedal
Good pedal
I do love the space echo. Great 👍 pedal. But both together sounds great.
Thanks Gareth, I love the echo sound of Boss RE2 but I prefer the reverb sound of Nux Tape Echo
@@PerryFrank hi mate I totally agree with you. But that Echo pedal you have put with other pedals and it sounds great 👍.
I hear what sounds like some modulation on the Boss pedal.
I don't hear anything stereo in the Boss but the NUX as a wide stereo thing in the repeat if you want it.
Nux has wider sounds when reverb is on

Is NUX analog dry through???

@@maartenstevens9848 eventide pedals have kill dry too but they are not analog dry through.
I own the NUX, so I must think it is a bit better ;)
I love the reverb part of the Nux, I've got the impression that the stereo panorama works better on it
Thanks, both sound great.
Thank you 🙏

The wow & flutter is maxed out on the Boss. Doesn't sound like it's set very high on the NUX.
