Im getting to the age where the boost of an ebike seems like a good idea and a step through frame would make hauling groceriess home a lot easier. Your reviews are filmed in my familar stomping grounds so its really easy for me to appreciate your tests for hill climbing ability It does seems strange to have the rider's eye view of the road ahead without a rear view mirror on the left.

I'd use it to get around to work, shopping, Physical Therapy, etc. I hate using the inefficient public transit out here. They weren't reliable before the pandemic and have gotten worse since then. Nowadays you're lucky if a bus or train even shows up within 1.5 hours of when it was scheduled to show! Who can use that to get to work on time? I've got an old knee injury that I'm going to PT for to work up to not having to use a folding walker and my knee brace anymore. An e-bike like this is easy to mount, dismount, recharge, bring inside, and most importantly would give me greater independence to get around. I'd be able to get out to enjoy the outdoors more for the cost of a little bump up in my power bill. Plus it will aid me on my journey to getting into and staying in shape.

Wow, this bike would be perfect. I would use this as a family bike, since it can support everyone and both colors are approved by everyone. And thr app let's you change class...that's handy for kids...and last but not least...it passed the hill test! Just in case you wondered if 500w is enough. The torque sensor is a big deal too. Anything that makes the pedaling more enjoyable will encourage exercise, which I need.
I've been window shopping for an Ebike for a while now, this one seems to tick most of the boxes. Like the torque sensor, it's low weight, great battery life, great looks! I'm a 66-year-old getting back into riding after a two and a half year break because of illness. Definitely would be a fun bike to own and use on those extra long bike rides.
Yes nice features and competitive price. However, I would prefer a more swept back handlebar like those Dutch bikes which have a more relaxing riding style. I am guessing this causes less backstrain.

I met you at whole foods, I work there and had asked you about an e bike recommendatiom. Ive developed a lot of health problems due to long COVID, I told my doctor I would start commuting to work and the gym via bike to start my path towards improving my overall health
I would use the bike to simply get around that I live in a small town with nothing in it but it’s spread out but not enough to drive a car everywhere and have tried buying a few E bikes recently, but all came damaged or with some other problem I would use this to get destinations. I need to go in simply for the freedom, but mainly exercise as well.
This looks like the perfect bike for what I do. I watch homes for the snowbirds when they head north for the summer. I could go from house to house with much more ease than in my pick up. I’d save the price of the bike in gas savings in one summer and it would be a lot more fun.

I would love to spend more time biking with my wife, as it's hard to do because we're vastly different sizes and pedal at different speeds and so it's hard to bike together. Plus, she is a pastor and works weekends while I work weekdays so it's hard to find time together, but this would definitely provide us with more together-time!

I would love to win this bike! My goal is to get outside more and enjoy some exercise! The idea of an e-bike is great not only for exercise, but to reduce my dependence on my car! I believe e-bikes are a great tool for everybody to either start an exercise routine with the battery assist you can build stamina and challenge yourself all while enjoying yourself!
My parents are retired and live up in the mountains and it's difficult to get up to them if you don't have your own car. With this bike I could whiz up there every now and then to visit. 8:35 PM EDT, June 20… I just bought and assembled the Hovalpha dark red .. a beautiful ride. I would love to get this rose pink commuter for my girlfriend Janis, a perfect matched pair.. like us.
I recently bought a 4" tire bike with the full frame used. I am 70 yrs old and have knee damaged from being bent behind me and sliding down steep hillside. that was 2008 but i never regained strength back due to tendon damage. The bike I bought has a weak battery that won't take full charge and the bike had been laid down bending brake lever parts(causing brake light to stick on) and broken headlight and cracked display, scuffing up some other stuff. I am 5'10" and weight 270, I have a fearful time getting on or off the bike. The bike went dead just as I turned right onto a steep grade, I was in top gear and couldn't pedal it and I tried to step off in the middle of the street and caught my pants crouch on the seat horn and almost fell over into a car. That was my second ride. I was always riding bikes years back and would ride 15 to 30 miles several times a week, daily when weather was good. i would like to have the E bike for assistance in trying to regain leg strength and improving my circulation. I also have a Trek Mountain but have the same problem getting on or off. I used to ride all the big hills my area, and there were some big one's. That is one beautiful color, and a step thru frame is what I need.
I would use it to help pull my physically disabled 18 year old in his Wike Special Needs bike trailer. I would also use it for myself to get back into better shape. I am pretty good with weights, I lift an 18 year old into and out of his wheelchair all the time but less great with doing aerobics.

Since I sold my car for a year ago and bought an used e-bike for 700 dollars, 250 w front wheel, I find it to weak cause I live in the mountains. I'm 58 and the reason I sold my car is that I wanted to do something for the enviroment. This bike would be nice, I'm a low earner so money doesn't come that easy. First of all, I love your reviews in general, so keep up the great content!! To be honest, I have an ebike already, but my younger brother often wants to ride with me, and doesn't have an ebike. I'd love to buy him one, but ebikes are not cheap. If I won the giveaway, I'd have an ebike that he (or my other siblings) can use if he wants to ride with me which would be amazing!!
I want this bike for my wife! I was just looking at it online. My bike is 48V 500watt so this seems like a great match but in step-thru bike that will work with my bike rack. I like the bottle cage mounts too.... most bikes do not have that on the downtube. *pick me!*

I live in the DC area and have, unfortunately, not been successful landing work with my given skillset; and as a result, I have to depend on siblings to help out. This transportation would give me a means to find work in further locations that I could not typically commute from a lack of expenses, and allow me to explore other employment avenues. I'm a retired ironworker and I don't have a license and I would use it too get my groceries and to go visit my three son and my grandchildren. It would make my life so much simpler.

Shame we can only ride 250w legally in Europe!. Everyone here in England builds 1000-2000w ebikes and rides those around instead haha.

69 year old. After two failed ankle surgeries, I can’t get any meaningful exercise by walking. I’m able to exercise by pedaling a bike, but will use throttle when my ankle needs to take a rest. I could make use of the bike for daily exercise, weather permitting.

This ebike looks perfect for my wife... she is hesitant to join the ebike crowd... all I hear is how user friendly this bike is and the color is killer! She would love it and I am sure with about a minute, she would be perfectly comfortable riding the bike ... ease of use looks perfect for her. Woo hoo!
Wow, this bike would be perfect. I would use this as a family bike, since it can support everyone and both colors are approved by everyone. And thr app let's you change class...that's handy for kids...and last but not least...it passed the hill test! Just in case you wondered if 500w is enough.
The torque sensor is a big deal too. Anything that makes the pedaling more enjoyable will encourage exercise, which I need.

I've been window shopping for an Ebike for a while now, this one seems to tick most of the boxes. Like the torque sensor, it's low weight, great battery life, great looks! I'm a 66-year-old getting back into riding after a two and a half year break because of illness. Definitely would be a fun bike to own and use on those extra long bike rides.

Yes nice features and competitive price. However, I would prefer a more swept back handlebar like those Dutch bikes which have a more relaxing riding style.

Hey I've been going back and forth between the Hovsco Hovranger and the Aventon Leve 2. They so similar, I've been able to test ride the Level 2 but no shop here carries Hovsco?

I would use the bike to simply get around that I live in a small town with nothing in it but it’s spread out but not enough to drive a car everywhere and have tried buying a few E bikes recently, but all came damaged or with some other problem I would use this to get destinations. I need to go in simply for the freedom, but mainly exercise as well.
This looks like the perfect bike for what I do. I watch homes for the snowbirds when they head north for the summer. I could go from house to house with much more ease than in my pick up. I’d save the price of the bike in gas savings in one summer and it would be a lot more fun.

I've been trying to save up for an Ebike for a while now. I've fallen on financial hardships and health problems lately. This bike would be a dream come true.
It would definitely help my time management. Especially after work and my walk up and down the slight mile long hill I live atop of. Last year, I was diagnosed with heart disease and everything has slowed to a crawl as I've been having a physically hard time.
Keeping up with the chores of my family life takes time and leaves me with little time for myself and family after everything is done.
I have my son living with me for the past few years and last year, before the diagnosis, I had my mom move in.
Needless to say, an ebike would help the commute after work and getting groceries nearby so I could spend more time with family

I want the HovRanger! 😃 I would use it for commuting to work. The shortest distance would be pavement but also a dirt path. This bike would be perfect for taking it there and back!! I would even be allowed to bring the bike inside the building.
I like your reviews. Both my wife and I cycle around this city, but tend to be limited when going up some hills as we're no longer young. We're looking around for at least one e-bike, limited by our pensions.
I would love to spend more time biking with my wife, as it's hard to do because we're vastly different sizes and pedal at different speeds and so it's hard to bike together. Plus, she is a pastor and works weekends while I work weekdays so it's hard to find time together, but this would definitely provide us with more together-time!

I would give it to my daughter to commute to her Applied Sciences Tech High School. Due to work schedules of her mom and I ,she walks 3 miles here in the Phoenix area. She could go to a public school but she was accepted to this hard to get into tech high school which will prepare her for joining the Navy, she plans to be a medic.
Sold, perfect since includes frame mounting bolts for a front rack for my small dog, is a missing feature on other bikes of this style. I really enjoy your info packed and fast paced reviews.

I live about 15 miles outside of a small town in Tennessee. The hills would kill me on a standard bike. An ebike would be perfect.

I would love to win this bike! My goal is to get outside more and enjoy some exercise! The idea of an e-bike is great not only for exercise, but to reduce my dependence on my car! I believe e-bikes are a great tool for everybody to either start an exercise routine with the battery assist you can build stamina and challenge yourself all while enjoying yourself!
My parents are retired and live up in the mountains and it's difficult to get up to them if you don't have your own car. With this bike I could whiz up there every now and then to visit.

You would do better with a mid drive motor if you head up those hill grades. Costs more though.

I recently bought a 4" tire bike with the full frame used. I am 70 yrs old and have knee damaged from being bent behind me and sliding down steep hillside. that was 2008 but i never regained strength back due to tendon damage. The bike I bought has a weak battery that won't take full charge and the bike had been laid down bending brake lever parts(causing brake light to stick on) and broken headlight and cracked display, scuffing up some other stuff. I am 5'10" and weight 270, I have a fearful time getting on or off the bike. The bike went dead just as I turned right onto a steep grade, I was in top gear and couldn't pedal it and I tried to step off in the middle of the street and caught my pants crouch on the seat horn and almost fell over into a car. That was my second ride. I was always riding bikes years back and would ride 15 to 30 miles several times a week, daily when weather was good. i would like to have the E bike for assistance in trying to regain leg strength and improving my circulation. I also have a Trek Mountain but have the same problem getting on or off. I used to ride all the big hills my area, and there were some big one's. That is one beautiful color, and a step thru frame is what I need.

I would use it to help pull my physically disabled 18 year old in his Wike Special Needs bike trailer. I would also use it for myself to get back into better shape. I am pretty good with weights, I lift an 18 year old into and out of his wheelchair all the time but less great with doing aerobics.

Since I sold my car for a year ago and bought an used e-bike for 700 dollars, 250 w front wheel, I find it to weak cause I live in the mountains. I'm 58 and the reason I sold my car is that I wanted to do something for the enviroment. This bike would be nice, I'm a low earner so money doesn't come that easy. First of all, I love your reviews in general, so keep up the great content!! To be honest, I have an ebike already, but my younger brother often wants to ride with me, and doesn't have an ebike. I'd love to buy him one, but ebikes are not cheap. If I won the giveaway, I'd have an ebike that he (or my other siblings) can use if he wants to ride with me which would be amazing!!

I want this bike for my wife! I was just looking at it online. My bike is 48V 500watt so this seems like a great match but in step-thru bike that will work with my bike rack. I like the bottle cage mounts too.... most bikes do not have that on the downtube. *pick me!*
Excellent review (as always). I would use this bike everyday as this would be my primary form of transportation. I live in the DC area and have, unfortunately, not been successful landing work with my given skillset; and as a result, I have to depend on siblings to help out. This transportation would give me a means to find work in further locations that I could not typically commute from a lack of expenses, and allow me to explore other employment avenues. if i got it i would use it to get out of the house and not stay inside because there is nothing close to my house i have to use my cheap old bike to get to the actual good biking spots and fun spots to bike at and having an e-bike would help alot
