What makes a good surf hat?
I review a few and share the ones that I found offer sun protection and visibility, which are somewhat stylish (and which are not), and the ones you probably won’t lose during a session.

If your biggest concern while surfing is how you look in a hat you should get off the waves. Safety and function over looks and fashion.

Well said. If all surfers were more focused on safety every rider would wear a soft helmet in critical waves. We are not there yet like snowboarding etc
