I am using the hat for two years now when wakeboarding. It is very well made to last. In my case I inserted in it a PE protective hat lining that is used in bump caps. It fits perfectly inside and it is kept in place by the rubber band or how is it called that goes around the hat. It gives it better protection required for the sport. The hat stays on head even in big wipe outs.
