@@scronx Yes, and a CANADIAN Jew (does YT think this is a racist term?) from Montreal, with Lithuanian ancestry. That's really mixing it up. Original family name was Schattner.
If you should get a copy of These Are the Voyages: Season One has a very blow-by-blow description of Bill Shatner's early career. I highly recommend it.
Age 32 in 1963....(I was 15)....our Bill is now a still sprightly and bright 90. ( His comment : " 90 ?! 90 is disgusting ! " ) See interview on UA-cam, Title: " William Shatner Opens Up About Turning 90". Also seek : " Julius Caesar " ( as Marc Antony), a t.v. production , and a small - ish role as a crook in " The Butler's Night Off".Also on chat show of Craig (?) Ferguson: very entertaining. 🇬🇧💕from England 😊🇬🇧
Wait, you are an immigrant. You cannot move next to me. This is my America. I was here first. But you are an immigrant too. No, I am an American, you are an immigrant. This sort of thinking has gone on for the country's whole history. The fact of the matter is we are all immigrants, except maybe for the American Indians. Even they immigrated here at one time, supposedly by walking across the land bridge. Maybe the Woolly Mammoth said to them, wait, you cannot be here. We were here first, and you are an immigrant.
Believing that, a part Jewish/German man from Canada is Irish (especially when he speaks), is like believing we could go from planet to planet, in 1966. Neither, is possible.
Shatner says of the incident that he didn't quite have the fight choreography down pat and decked Van Cleef a few times for real. Van Cleef got up and said, "you do that again and I will knock you out!"
Apparently we've run out of immigrants like Bill's character here. Today's version has face tats, a body count, 3 children by 20, 7 aliases, and a grocery list of priors 🤦♂️
This should be called the Shatner Channel! Such a treasure trove.
HA!! Originally I was only planning to upload the "For the People" episodes. Then lock -down struck & a "Shatner Channel" emerged. You're right!
Shatner was all over TV back then.
@@RubyPearls-Shatner-channel thanx ! this is really great viewing .
Yeah, but shatner the ju playing a swedish cowboy with an irish accent?

That's beautiful _ lots of trouble but never far from good-natured resolution. Great cast including some fave ppl I didn't even recognize!
I wouldn’t even know it existed if it wasn’t for you! Thanks!

Wow 😳, I love this!
The lip bite and the mud wrestling! The comedy and the weird accent that bill is attempting. This is a real gem!
His Swedish accent is not too bad, some of his other accents were bad
I like that his accent is subtle. You can’t really tell what the heck it is
Great show.
And Robert Brown played on Star Trek episode "The Alternative Factor" as Lazarus
Yes. Shatner got him the role the last minute when Barrymore did not show up.
this is just terrific!! Loving it!!
Great movies. Thanks

What a treat! Thank you for this one!
Did anyone notice half way down the cast credits was Lee Van Cleef?
Back when TV Land was a great channel full of retro-commercials and gems like this!
holy cow ! how many programs was shatner in before star trek ?
A bunch. And he performed in many plays in his native Canada. He was a well respected , up and coming Shakespearean actor
Such a great prolific actor!! And STILL acting...on the UnXplained show...

Robert Brown, his costar here, lived to age 95. Passed away Sept, 2022.
Aaahhh the man-liness b4 it became obsolete & even firbidden
@25:04 Hammer must have been from the same dollar store that I bought mine at.
now thats funny ! but heres a clue : when the wood dries out it shrinks ,
some mineral oil and a wedge shud fix it right up
Frank Overton appeared on TOS in "This Side of Paradise."
And the Twilight Zone.
@@MsBackstager And I saw recently an episode of "The Defenders" with Overton and Shatner, too.
One of his last roles.
Bill with his Ollie accent !
An unshaven Shatner I've never seen until 37 minutes

Shatner's character Eric Tigner here is supposed to be Swedish. Robert Brown's character Johnny Reardon was Irish.
Good ending!
Kirk was only getting warmed up to Elias Sandoval!
Having trouble playing the movie, keep losing the internet connection.
HUH! I checked it out before I posted it & it plays OK at this end. Sorry! Have no idea what causes that.
@@RubyPearls-Shatner-channel no problem here plays fine so its a good upload

Wait, a show about a rough and tumble California pioneer wearing a three piece suit and tie?
Lots of good TV storeys with William Shatner but this is not a good one. All the same, acting was good all around.
The story never got beyond the introduction of characters and setting the sceen.
@@AndrewLohmannKent It was an unsold pilot that finally got burned off as an ep of "The Dick Powell Show".
@@actionsub I would have loved to have seen more of these episodes. The story line and the characters have me hooked already. What a shame.
