What a cool find! I never heard of this before. Great cast; Shatner did a decent job as Alexander; never expected to see Adam West as a Macedonian General; Joseph Cotton as Antigonas and John Cassavetes as the traitor were great and lent some gravitas to the production. Good silly fun.
more realistic version of what actually happened in his ambition to protect Greece from King Darius, according to historical writers. One of his general said " You can't win the world" Alexander replied "Lets build a new one" Alexander knew himself, know his enemies, win all his 9 champaign all the way to India. King Darius and his Persian empire never bother Greece. One of the world' best role model, humanity ever created.

Ya He followed Darius to where he himself starved and died of cold and loneliness. And we call him the Great. The savage would have been more appropriate.
