I first saw Project Zomboid on someone's stream, I wasn't too sure how it garnered a lot of people since seeing it as a pixel game, and in a weird type of playing view too (plus it's somewhat expensive in my country) Bought the game around the 1st week of march, and I'm excited to grind the game after my classes LMAO
It's better than any "aaa" out there. It's made with passion by a team that ants it's players to have FUN. At the price this GAME gives you waaay more value with it's depth, it's ay more finished than any just released thing from the "aaa"s Annndddd you don't HAVE TO play EVERYDAY, an internet connection isn't required for SINGLE player, not a transaction is SIGHT. No battlepasses to pay for over and over again,etc.,etc.,etc., JUST a game that they hope YOU enjoy , mod community is out of it's mind. lol annndd YOU can play it however YOU want. I know , the graphics , the graphics hey don't judge a book by it's cover, this "book" is deeeeep.
I bought PZ after watching a UA-cam a guy named ambiguousamphibian play it.
My first mistake was naming my first character after myself.

I like the rosewood map too, I tend to build my base in the fire station to the left middle of the map, it's perfect
