This week i had one of the tightest under house jobs ive ever had. It was just 5 drops with hard pipe but i wanted to cry. Gotta love New Orleans houses
Thanks for sharing
It Pays and makes a Lot of Sense to have a very well Qualified and well Paid Team on your payroll. 👍🙏
That raised platform is magnificent.
I got a sweat I got I don’t want. I’d really start over OK?
That platform is tits.
Mikey, I bought a similar one from Vevor, blue. I plugged in the power cord and the back of the chassis connector broke out. I opened the unit and wS able to plug it into the remainder of the connector to move on. My opinion is that even with the issue, it's still a good value.
Watching the crawlspace video brings back bad memories. Very difficult conditions.
Mikey sounds like he's 9 months along and pushing out a baby in the crawlspace... 🤪🤪
That pad was definitely very nice. It's not often you see a nice setup like that that's easy to keep leaves, snow and other junk away from.
That ground clip looks like something you'd see/use on a metal box, not a painted cabinet as you mentioned.
I commend you on getting into that crawl space most bosses would all sudden get a phone call and be heading the other way
Most that I have worked with
I’m always in the trenches with the team
Another fine job, well done by the 3 musketeers.
Way to go Mr. Mikey, getting all down and dirty with your employees.
Absolutely! I lead by example
Your reaction to the tiny piece of cardboard you waited half a day for 😂
I know!!
nice, very nice install, great vid!
Thanks! 👍
Thanks!
Wow! Thank you very much for the love!
Love the video Mike
Thank you very much
Nice job on the install, looks like those panels on the condenser are the same size all around, you should swap them around so the logo is facing out.
Can't imagine why anyone would build a crawl space that low
It makes no sense. I totally agree.
Yo Dchvac, we are hungry!! I saw daniel yesterday while i was driving to my next service call. cant miss that fancy billboard driving around
I keep reminding him to post.
beautiful job again .. I'm would have had one of those boys shop vac that crawl space out before you had to lay down in there.. have a cold one you earned it
Great idea
Good job Mike and crew, It's like the Blair Witches Project in that crawl space, or Salem's Lot in the dungeon, Vampires and bats..........
Mikey can you do a video on how to troubleshoot the Bosh condenser board please 🙏
😂😂😂 never question the boss 🤪🤪 toooo many years of experience ❤❤ and?? Copper clamps always look more sexy 👍
Mike is stalling by the van so he catch his breath
lol 😆
Yea I don't miss messing around in crawl spaces and attics. Lol
Yeah, tomorrow is the attic part two
Stay hydrated today fellas!
The original contractor that placed that unit must have said let's get it as far from the entry point as possible
Yup
I like the Bosch stuff as well. I install the Comfort Aire line. All made by the same parent company “Midea”. It sucks cause it’s Chinese, but it is a good product.
#LoveBosch
Gotta love HVAC cave exploration
Just waiting for the new cold climate units. I'm guessing spring of 2025. Meantime I've been installing 2 or 3 M20 and M18's a week. Life is good.
Rule #1. NEVER bet the boss.😂
Oh, that’s a good rule, but we did not disconnect the water filter and it slid right in there
@@PipeDoctor I watch you daily Mikey, love the content and your way of thinking. God bless and good day sir 👍
I wanna guess 88 micron. There is no way it’s under that.
100% a yellow jacket knock off..but seems nice for the buck.but does it pay off to have in field or just sick with the better Field piece or NAVAC
In houston attic had ac and heater, no access large enough gotta open ceiling.
Did you use the same line set?
Not bad
I never get a overheated issue with my phone
Surely you can get those guys bluetooth mics so we can hear conversations and not just you Mike?
Looked liked Mikey was going caving in that crawl space.
It wasn’t fun
I would say 140 Microns.
Good guess but not too close
not hating, but you guys covered the window, the origonal 3 had a gap for the window.
Who gives a flying fuck do you see the difference between the unit and the house? We have 2 1/2 feet there it’s good.
@@PipeDoctor I just mean if you are in the house looking out you don't see the AC unit
60 is my guess
Where were you able to put the air filter, can’t believe they stuffed the unit in there like that, lol. Do you have to tilt the ahu like the Bosch furnace to drain the condensate? Like your videos.
There’s a filter grill on the ceiling for the zone
Thanks for ruining my Sunday. Nice to see you in the trenches. So many shit installs this season. Have fun and be safe this season. Are you moving the second floor AHU to fit Bosch line set?
No
Damn, is the water there so bad and hard that you need 2 of those monsters of filters...
One’s a pre-filter
What''s upwith the the furnace exhast going across the house?
Now knock the bucket over so you can get all wet like I did today 😊, and was wondering why my legs were feeling wet!. Ugh is all I can say! Rrrr!
42:43 , Noticed he is weighing the charge in with the Fieldpiece scales. Why not the Vevor scales? LMAO They suck.
Oy Vey
Yeah, this one wasn’t easy, but it got done regardless
Get some new drop cloths. You bring a rug to wipe your feet, then whip out those stained drop cloths.
Relax, the drop cloths are clean. They go to the cleaners once a week that they wash machine place they’re clean.
Looks bad. Chuck in a truck quality. Not a high-end quality company justifying the $400 contactor type of calls,as you stated, the other day.
@@mikekolczynski5665 have you priced those drops? he could use new drops per job, charge the customer for them and leave them, if they want them. LOL
By the way, the EPA is planning too change that 5% factor on those cooling system, 100% leaks free, from the factory to the new install. again this will be good for business all around for every one.
It's not a leak until you leave 😂
Ouch
Daniel doesn't look happy
Wehhh
Heck yess😎😎
Hi
The audio is like a ‘70’s porn flick in a filthy theater (so I’m told🤷♂️🤣)
Wow, you’re the only one who seems to complain about porn flicks in the 1970s
@@PipeDoctor 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Nothing better that a nasty theater at night 👍👍
Savage. 😂😂
That’s one of those jobs that gets the bullshit tax applied. If you want to pay it my day is going to suck but I’m going to make some money.
Yeah, I didn’t calculate it that way but I did calculate we were doing two jobs and two days so hard work money earned
I just noticed your watch cover. It’s pretty ironic that you use red and blue for heating and cooling.
Thanks for watching
Actually I think it looks pretty cool!
Is this your apprentice who is always late🤔
Vevor can work for DIY, but I would fire a pro using one. Some things okay, but not for a high priced pro.
62 microns.
You asked what we think, so don't get all but hurt....you charged the customer an arm and a leg, and you have a high-end system installed, but you're not going to change the entire line set when that old copper may be all corroded and ready to burst a leak in the next year or two....I don't know Mike. I think for the price, the customer deserves an entire complete system and that my friend includes a new line set.
what price? care to tell me what the price was??
whatever they paid you was not enough,
Efin crawlspace
387 microns
Not even close I’m sorry
It’s not cement, it’s concrete. Cement is an ingredient in concrete.
Thanks for the clarification. I always wanted to know the difference.
I hope that didn’t come off as rude, I was just saying… I love the content and have learned ALOT from watching yous guys!!!
Mikes grunts and groans sound like he’s giving birth.
Rule number 1
Cover customers flooring and cardboard in the crawlspace lowest seniority has spider web clean out.
lol
700 mrcor
You didn’t even try to guess
59
109 microns
Not even close
@@PipeDoctor hey after decay I was the closest lol
113 microns
Close but no cigar
69 is the number of course 😂
Very close very very close
@@PipeDoctor you dirty man 🤣
249 microns
Not even close, but thank you for guessing
300 microns
Nope
Lol... I guess I'm stuck with my ole Appion G5 twin
100 microns
Damn it, I was way over
Yeah, you were way over. I’m sorry.
185 microns
Did you even try?
My guess is 154 microns
60 micron I didn’t cheat , only on the wife 😅
69 microns lol
Raised platform too close to home for upkeep.great idea stupid execution. DUH.. when a person has no idea how a home works..
Wow hoarding all that refrigerant instead of giving back to the nature damn New Yorkers are a special breed.😂😂😂
lol
60 is my guess
139 microns
Close but also no cigar
I would normally love to be a HVAC Tech, until I see videos like this.
Crawlspaces that size shouldn't be in code in my opinion.
I agree
@@gadflyofhumanity_6847walk in attics is the way to go! That should be the only way to go.
@@gadflyofhumanity_6847 that's a huge space compared to many I've been in. some a low profile car creeper is too high and your nose is hitting pipes and main beams, some times floor joists, have to lay flat and G.I. crawl. then climb overtop low pipes without breaking them. now you have to drag tools and materials in and out with. lol
I am very skeptical of Vevor. They’re literally making everything from landscape cloth, car lifts, now vacuum pumps 😂 vevor has been known as the cheap Chinese Amazon brand for several years.
Yeah, listen it’s it’s cheap stuff. Is it gonna last forever no but will you cover your overhead with it probably
@@PipeDoctor we need to get your son with the car lot to get vevor to send him a lift
In 9 minutes the microns will be 525
That install was TITS!!!
That’s!!!
I would stay away from these nasty jobs
I do them and get paid for exceptional jobs
I thought I had it had it bad just running network cable and water lines in a tight crawl space like that.
That is ridiculous.
Yeah, part one of this two day install was kind of ridiculous but tomorrow will be God willing much better and then we can finish out this project for the two Bosch systems for 2024 for this client
This whole entire setup is stupid
it is what it is
I dig that watch bro
Thank you very much
Vevor sent me that crap, Recovery machine is a good back up at best. The scales are the same as Elitech, same scale different sticker.
Best Variable speed system is Trane XV, BOSCH BLOWS ASS.
200 microns
Not close
60 microns
My guess is 210
That’s a good guess you know what I like this. I think you’re genuine in your answer and email me Mike at Mikey pipes.com and I will send you some free stickers.
Mike, the yellow hose with the low loss fitting you are using on the discharge of the reclaim machine, is slowing the recovery process.
Okay. Ty
Mike, I love your videos. Keep up the great work you and your crew do.
missed that, but yeah low loss fittings are bad all around, as well as going through gauges.
probably wise to run a tee at the service port, hook gauge there and and plain hose to recovery machine then to tank. remove schrader valves too.
Mike I’m surprised you didn’t clean all the shit off the floor so you wouldn’t have to crawl through it
What do I look like a housekeeper?
@@PipeDoctor I am not being a troll it was just a suggestion.
yeah, 10 minutes with a long hose shop vac and it's all nice and clean. who wants to crawl over debris, nails, staples, chunks of wood, dirt, probably glass and metal slivers from ducts.
650 microns
130 microns.
Great work, Mike and team. Keep up the hustle
Thank you so much for the support and encouragement
700 microns
Not even remotely close
@@PipeDoctor I thought the vacuum pump was vevor too.
66 Microns was my guess. Not cheating. I use the JB mega Flow kit though. So that would probably be the measure for those hoses.
101
Closer
@@PipeDoctor ive already watched the whole video. I dont want to spoil it for someone else
247
Come on is that even a guess?
Hi Mike been one year that we had are new air conditioner, heat pump kicks ass
