MVs10 - Lubricating the Gearbox

Proper procedure for lubricating the gearbox on your Motovox MVs10 stand-up scooter.

Sir, i have seen in my country Philippines that some are puting gear oil in the gearbox instead of grease. Is that all right? Im confused.

I just bought a 50cc 2-stroke scooter in USA and manufacturer recommends using 75w-90 gear oil inside the "transmission"...just enough 2 cover the gears but not completely full...this sounds alot better 2 me for the long haul just have 2 change it out every now & again for maintenance but what does the manufacturer know, right?
Packing it full of grease would probably work about the same although it would most likely lower the mpg of the scooter and the idea was probably never having to refresh or maintain it like u do w/ gear oil b/c how would u anyway 🤔 🤷 The only way I can picture would be just opening up the drain plug & keep forcing new grease into it from the top fill hole

Any specific type of Grease? And what kind of oil for the chain

Just run your chain thru bar & chain oil every now & again(like for chainsaws) and I wouldn't pack my gearbox full of grease like the guy in this video did, I would only use 75w-90 gear oil like the manufacturer recommends👍
