A few years ago I emailed the NBA Commissioner office I got a response from either his assistant or secretary saying at the find they are not focusing on expanding beyond their current teams however if they do a Expansion team in Las Vegas and Reactivating the Seattle Super Sonics would be their first priority
They're finishing up their new TV deal then focusing on vegas and Seattle funny enough the two most recent nhl markets

Hahahahahahah. When the tickets are prices at 300$+ a ticket you’ll change your tune. Las Vegas doesn’t give a FUCK about its residents. Only how much $$ it can siphon from yours it’s coming to watch their teams play here. That’s why more often than not the Raiders are playing in front of a “home crowd “ comprised of at least 50% or more of the away team. Just another bullshit money play on a league that already fixes its games. In case you didn’t notice. Las Vegas is taking hold of what it’s been trying to since its inception. Every major sports league in the country.

Billionares don’t like spending their money, but if using taxpayers, there should be if the owner wants to move, they have to pay back 3/4 of the money back the city did.
Going to be Lebron owning the team he wants to bring a NBA team to Vegas however got wait until he retires because no player can play and own a team at the same time.
