There is nohing on the societies site or on the webb. I realize she is old and maybe not worth the restoration (Maybe Calypso II) but, it's what she represents to the world. She inspired our generation to become biologist, scientist, researchers, and teachers in all fields of science. As a teacher, my job is to inspire and keep the dream of learning alive. I wear my Calypso shirt with pride hoping that that his dream of science and wonder will continue for generations. An honest anwer please !
When I was nine I was able to go onboard the Calypso in Norfolk Virginia, in the late seventies . That and his movies inspired me to live my life on the sea and some times under it.

Today January 2021 still waiting for news about the restoration of the calypso.
I now assume that Calypso is going to be left to rot, there has been no word for a long time. What a shame.
