It's probably not the smartest thing to really say this in UA-cam comments of all things but I think the character can be improved on with missing elements from the source game. My biggest gripe is the down special, because I think it's a bit awkward to use as is. There are loads of ways to handle the emergency button, but having a one-time-per-life instant vacuum effect that draws every nearby opponent to you would be a better idea than a big prop you put on the stage. Opens up more combo potential too. Neutral air would be cooler to be a spin in the air with the watering can IMO. Something else for sure, seeing Crewmate doing a Mario nair haunts me man. And as Linklight said in the video, the up air looks a bit strange. Don't really have anything for it but it feels out of place. Finally, this is just me talking, but it would be hella funny if the end-screen victory for Crewmate said "Imposter Wins" instead.
Also, I wouldn’t be afraid to take from the recently very popular kill screen videos. Opens up more creativity and they are all conceivably something the crewmate could possibly do.
I've talked quite a bit to the original creator, he intended to have quite a few of the moves just simply be original moves instead of only references, which is where down tilt and all of his aerials besides back-air come from, also the entire idea of a single one-time-per-life move doesn't work well on a Rivals character, being there aren't any such moves in the base game and it's generally not a good idea in general, there aren't plans to overhaul any of the moves and after playing around with them quite a lot, nothing feels out of place, just my thoughts on it though

Imagine if the creator made both crewmates and imposters as separate characters. Like, the crewmates attacks could reference the multiple tasks that they do around the ship while the imposters attacks could be a reference to all their killing animations (maybe even having them use certain task materials to further reference how they have to act like a crewmate in order to win.)
in among us, the crew mates do have hands. if the imposter were to kill you, you get a couple animations featuring hands. one is the neck snap where the imposter puts his hands on a crewmate's head and snaps their neck. the second is when the imposter punches a crewmate in the face and pulls a gun out, the crewmate reaches out with their own hand in an inaudible call for help before being shot, which is what the gun in the attack for crewmate is referencing.
Up b is the animation if you go through a vent. That’s why pressing up b again teleports you to that vent. Also, up air is a reference to custom kill animations. Taunt is when a match starts, a crewmate does that shh animation, and then it tells you your role. Down smash is (probably??) a reference to in other maps like MiraHQ, you open doors to get around, and when the doors close, smoke gets released there. Nevermind, so it sctyally turns out that the green part will change depending on the skin, like Red has 2 shades of grey for his, so maybe it was supposed to stand out or something (your direction is the same, the colour that is different is actually the hing of the vent)

I'm willing to bet it's because of the move he used that he calls a "mini jump". But more is going on in that ability, because the character becomes grayed out for the duration of the fall or so, i suspect it's actually a giant i-frame but it locks you out of other things, including using the vent.
