My ex-wife would turn me down all the time. They seemed like reasonable excuses like she was tired or stressed or sick. But when it was one excuse after another I started calling it the excuse Rolodex. The best part was after a year of marriage when I finally turned her down for the first time because I was tired, fighting off a cold, and it was late. She started ranting and raving and pacing. Oh, the hypocrisy.
You really know the excuses are NS, when they say it and they know it's a weak excuse, so they double up with a second excuse "I can't, I haven't showered yet, but oh, I also have a headache" 😅
We teach men, "No means no," and pound into men's heads that they have absolutely no right to question that response. A woman is allowed to turn her partner down for sex for absolutely any reason, and we are conditioned to accept it without question. Why aren't women taught the same things? In more than 23 of marriage, my wife has turned me down for sex I don't even know how many times. She has also agreed to have sex plenty of times when she wasn't necessarily "in the mood." But I learned early on that it was just easier for me to agree every time she approached me. If I didn't, I was told I didn't find her attractive, I was thinking about someone else, I was hiding something, etc. After many sleepless nights and stupid arguments, this finally got better...but only after about 15 years. Men should be allowed to turn a woman down for sex without the woman feeling justified belittling him or questioning his reasons.
The last one was a real eye opener in my last relationship. Gf rubbed me "down there" and was upset when I said I wasn't in the mood. Her ego was shattered as she didn't initiate until then
It doesnt always have to be stereotypical Female Entitlement/Immaturity though. Rejection hurts, no matter who goes through it. The first time I said 'not tonight, Honey', my GF was really demoralized, to the point of bottling up and avoiding sex for nearly 2 weeks... even after we talked it out. This even though she is IMO, an uncommonly empathic and honest person. Once we did have the talk. It turned out that she had some significant self esteem issues regarding sex. Largely based on having been with a previous guy who seemed nearly a-sexual without being honest (or perhaps self aware) about it. Having been told that 'she was too horny for a woman, and that there was something wrong with her'. Its been the rule that she always waits for my cue to progress beyond 2nd base. No matter how obvious it is that she wants to. Because this is a sensitive matter, based on her history. Then of course there is the whole matter of how women are generally less daring / more anxious, due to having lower testosterone level. So I try to be very considerate in this regard.
Women are vulnerable in an initiation situation. We are supposed to be vulnerable, not aggressive in the bedroom. I'd take it as a compliment vs. an expectation. Her ego was shattered because she put herself out there and gave up her power that comes from making a guy work for "it". A comforting snuggle and a comment " I'll be thinking of this tomorrow, but I need sleep tonight, beautiful" does a woman well
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Shout this one from the rooftops. Women have no clue or idea how we feel inside. I'm tired of the double standard. Well said Sarah, well said.😊
My ex would more often than not reject my advances. She eventually asked "Is it normal for a man to want s*x all the time? You should go to the doctor, there has to be a pill for that." When I eventually gave up trying, she asked "Is it normal for a man not to want s*x any of the time? You should go to the doctor, there has to be a pill for that." Sounds unbelievable, but it's 💯 true
Sara, you forgot to include another aspect of being a man. Just because I am a man, doesn't mean that I am SUPPOSED to take it. Why can't I just be treated with dignity and respect just like everyone else instead of being abused and traumatized all the time?
I will say, other men may feel uncomfortable or don't necessarily want to hang out much with a guy upset or depressed but the last thing theyll do is maliciously laugh at their struggle. Men will joke with guys struggling sometimes in order to get them to laugh, reflect, or something else of positive intention. If guys are genuinely mocking other men's struggles then fuck them, they arent friends or even decent human beings, and those guys will be ostracized by men who are actually mature, and empathetic, and worthy of brotherhood.
This is true. Men act differently when they see a body in the hospital then when women see one of their female friends in the hospital. Guys will joke around with him. However, we do not mock him or make fun of him
the mind games women play is ludicrous, just reading the comments makes me realize i am not the only one hearing or experienced some of these women problems.

Ups! You're increasing the "Risk Zone"... I could cry half an hour by listen to a impressive song, or seeing, a fatal film's scene, or remembering any page of my past... but it comes to me when I stay alone, and if someone is nearing I Will hide it, and lie... Men don't cry... is what men teach us in past ages. On the other hand, I'm "housewife" 60% time, and is the most important priority to my life, opinions are nothing at all to me. I was born outta "Dating Market" from the beggining 😂... thank you Sarah❤
Another double standard is how society is using words like "body positivity" to convince women that it's acceptable to be fat and out of shape but by the same token, they tell men to stay fit and muscular. We see fat women being glorified and celebrated everywhere but you don't see 1 fat man being featured on a magazine or in fashion shows.
Women will never learn, it's why men won't express their feelings or emotions. Women will ALWAYS use a man's emotions against us, it's not me being negative it's just how it is. I've experienced this often, it's why when women are crying and men walk away especially during a breakup.
Oh I hate the "Mr Mom" one or the attitude that a father is "baby sitting" his own kids. That thing about when a woman initiates and the guy isn't there for whatever reason my exwife pulled on me when we were dating. She used the "If a woman makes herself available to a man and he doesn't take her it hurts her self esteem." I was just not ready for intimacy yet but she was guilt tripping me. If a guy tried that it would be seen as coercion. Also that should have been a red flag but I ignored it. Ignoring red flags was like a sport to me. Not going to do that again.
I was a stay at home Dad to my young daughter and we would walk to the park at the end of our street and pick up a few of her friends along the way. So many times at the park the moms would stare at me like I was a child predator or something. The great thing is all those girls grew up, graduated from college and some are moms now and we have stayed friends all these years. Every one has said at some point I wish my Dad had been more like you. I truly love them all. Great kids who became awesome adults.
When ever my boyfriend of 9 years cries in front of me I always comfort him because it's rare and I know something is really wrong mentally. So I massage him and talk to him about what is going on
Actually, crying is a great filter to weed out the psychos. I'm not talking about crying at the drop of a hat. But big stuff, like a family member dying or stressed as heck cause you're between jobs. If your SO can't accept and validate your feelings, she's most likely immature or toxic. Run. My wife of 28 years has made a collection of movies that make me cry (Forrest Gump when he's standing at Jenny's grave talking to her is one of them) because she appreciates me feeling comfortable enough with her to show deep emotion. I've probably cried a dozen times in our 30 years together, and she has never lost respect or treated me poorly or used it against me. It actually makes her feel safer with me that I trust her.
@@christopherl1767 I'm happy to hear it works for you. The one and only time I got tearful was when my mom passed, that was 32 years ago. It's just not in me to be that way. I don't know how. I can't understand it.
In general, I believe that if women didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have any standards at all. Women tell you they want a "vulnerable" man who's in touch with his emotions...but most women treat a "vulnerable" or "emotionally available" man as an unacceptable choice for a partner.
The other day I heard a new one ... Cause some women be walking around talking about they won't date someone shorter than them or saying stuff like small d energy.... What if men said they won't date women larger than him or talked about loose p energy?
The Mr. Mom pisses me off to no end. I've had a son for 4 and a half months and I've already heard "Mr. Mom" and mention of me "babysitting" multiple times. I'm his dad and I'll spend time with and care for him because I love him and he's my son.
Thank you for this video! My partner and I are always fighting about me not being in the mood but I don't think she realizes how much stress and pressure I'm under on any given day and when I come home sex is the last thing on my mind, but automatically to her "I'm the problem"
Hi Sara, For six years I worked midnight shift and kept the kids all day. This was to facilitate nursing, which my kids did for five years each. The women at my wife’s employment thought I was the greatest Dad who ever lived. The women I met at the park or riding bicycles with my kids ridiculed me……..
Sarah also a lot of times when they use these excuses to not be intimate with their husbands/ boy friends is that they are giving it away elsewhere. My ex started out of the blue stopping the intimacy between us and for a while i couldn't understand why. Then i started to stumble on to little indication's of her being unfaithful but i had no concrete evidence. Well i had gotten sick im talking flu sick and she came home from work that day wanting to get it on and im looking at her like are you freaking serious? I might have to go to the hospital and sex is the last thing im thinking about. She threw the biggest tantrum and i never seen her do that before so i was extremely surprised. She started to say things like any man in the world would want to get in her pants and that i should grateful that she want to give it to me. Well that hurt and told her to get the hell out of the room and she left. One of my brothers caught her hugged up with another guy in a car not too far from where i live that same night and he called me to inform me of it and i was crushed. I asked him to come by because i needed help and i gathered up the strength got and started packing all of her belongings me and my brother set them out in front of the building then i called the superintendent told him i did not want her back in the building and that i needed my locks changed and i haven't looked back. It's been two years and she still call's me from multiple different numbers because i have her blocked telling me that she didn't anything wrong and that im a horrible person even after the fact i identified the dude that she was cheating on me with she stills denied it.
Was fired at 21 bc i wouldn't sleep with my boss... she said there must be something wrong with you, your a man your suppost to want to... not when you remind me of a brillo pad...

I've often mentioned missing out on not having a mom. Dad doesn't understand hormones, that time of the month, or just female thinking. But that's okay because my dad is the most loving, caring, parent I could hope for. My dad doesn't face double standards from me and my future husband will not either.
I would no laugh at a man that cried, I'd think he was human. It's sad that men don't show and feel emotion.. I'm very big on emotional freedom in my house.

Empowering women make weak men and weak men make everybody vulnerable to danger and fall by the sword Isaiah 3:12 KJV
Where’s the bible verse that says strong men not affected 😂
@@-Clarence- "But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel." - 1 Timothy 5:8 KJV
Men need to stop being bitches and start realizing their worth! If a woman won't appreciate her man, he needs to GO!
How sad that you think your power depends on another’s weakness.
Isaiah 3:12
As for my people, children are their oppressors,
and women rule over them.
O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err,
and destroy the way of thy paths.
I love how you point out the truth about us. Thank you. 🎉🎉🎉
White men are marginalised out of existence, period; been this way in advertising since at least the 1970s.
Women will never learn, it's why men won't express their feelings or emotions.
Women will ALWAYS use a man's emotions against us, it's not me being negative it's just how it is.
I've experienced this often, it's why when women are crying and men walk away especially during a breakup.
TY Dawn. I can't tell you how many times throughout the 12-plus years of marriage this was an issue
Happened with my ex-wife. I turned her down for naughty time like 5 times in 4 years. Would have thought her whole world ended.
Thank you. Nice to know at least one woman understands this
Spot on, Sarah!
You're 1 of the best online Sarah ,FOR men & women 😍👍 Australia 🇦🇺
A wise man sheds his tears alone where only Elohim is his witness.
Thank you Sarah - SPOT ON 😁
When ever my boyfriend of 9 years cries in front of me I always comfort him because it's rare and I know something is really wrong mentally. So I massage him and talk to him about what is going on
As it has always been,
And will always be.
Men ARE the Backbone of Humanity
Because WE Always have to be.
With the first one. . . Men don't cry, men never share feelings especially with a female. It'll bite him in the ass every time.
I can't understand it.
nah, i'll cry. its brief and very far between, but it does help get rid of stuff. She just doesnt get to see it. Its my job to be the rock.
In general, I believe that if women didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have any standards at all. Women tell you they want a "vulnerable" man who's in touch with his emotions...but most women treat a "vulnerable" or "emotionally available" man as an unacceptable choice for a partner.
Yep
Never ever show any weakness to a women as they will use it as weapons or blackmail til the end of time
That last one is so important esp for asexual men. Some ace people get seen as "less of a man" bc they don't experience sexual attraction. Like huh??
Or, if he doesn’t make enough money he’s perceived as not good enough.
The other day I heard a new one ... Cause some women be walking around talking about they won't date someone shorter than them or saying stuff like small d energy.... What if men said they won't date women larger than him or talked about loose p energy?
True!! I hate double standards!!
Thank you for pointing out the stigmatized thoughts.
The only thing that matters to a woman regarding her man is this...comfort , security , and making sure she looks good to her peers ( car , house...)
Truth! A man's love is genuine, a woman's love is usually objective..
Absolutely 💯 true.. showed emotions a few times was laughed at later by exs. Women wonder why men never show emotions.. rest my case
The Mr. Mom pisses me off to no end. I've had a son for 4 and a half months and I've already heard "Mr. Mom" and mention of me "babysitting" multiple times. I'm his dad and I'll spend time with and care for him because I love him and he's my son.
She is talking some Tip-of-the-Iceberg stuff here. This discussion can go on for hours.
Concerning the crying; I remember a few decades ago when women were looking for sensitive men who cried. Does anyone remember those days?
That's back when most women had empathy, compassion and respect for men. Now they view men as ATMs and retirement policies..
Yes, we are always seething. We just don't always want to get it on with the women who wants it.
These are messed up double standards that need to change.
Don't let your guard down boys. They are waiting to pounce
Thank you for this video! My partner and I are always fighting about me not being in the mood but I don't think she realizes how much stress and pressure I'm under on any given day and when I come home sex is the last thing on my mind, but automatically to her "I'm the problem"
Hi Sara,
For six years I worked midnight shift and kept the kids all day. This was to facilitate nursing, which my kids did for five years each.
The women at my wife’s employment thought I was the greatest Dad who ever lived.
The women I met at the park or riding bicycles with my kids ridiculed me……..
Damn right! MEN, NO CRYING. we cant afford to swim around in our feels all day. In a coming perfect world. All this will change.
The third one... She felt attacked every time i said no....
Nice to have you back on shorts!!!
Was fired at 21 bc i wouldn't sleep with my boss... she said there must be something wrong with you, your a man your suppost to want to... not when you remind me of a brillo pad...
I've gotten the "Mr. Mom" comment, for taking my kid to a playground. My answer left them horrified at their behavior. " Mr. Mom, ever since my wife died. "
I've been too tired to perform well, and I'll speak the truth. If she gets offended/mad then I'll just hop on, bust and roll over and sleep
The biggest one is dudes always pay child support and alimony, and woman get custody even if the father can provide a better life. But that’s just life
Can’t relate to the last one. I can wake up out of a dead ass sleep and service my wife. Whereas she can’t wake up out of being wide awake and service me.
Just say the word.
I'm 43 & I remember a promise I made to myself at 18. If I ever get to old or tired to turn away sex. Its time to die. I havent gotten there yet. EVERY DAY BABY LETS GOOOOO
You are an Awesome Woman. Blessings
well, the guy WAS playing Mr Mom.
Its true shouldnt be any double standards this day and age❤
I heard the 'Stay at home' Dad joke directed to me about a year ago. I told them I retired from the military and sold my company, I don't need to work. Why is what I do any of your business? it was great as they got bitchy LOL
It's just not worth the hassle.
If a person cant embrace your tears, they don’t deserve your smiles.
We get the feeling we are here only to serve and suffer while simply wanting the appreciation and affection we need. But that appreciation is somehow is more difficult to give than a kidney. Wow.
loved what you said here
Perfect sara.
I don't play those games and won't tolerate it.
The only relationship I have which is pure and full of love and joy … it’s with Jesus ❤🙏
You're wise woman , i have a very good marriage with a strong bond and very loving , i watch your videos because i enjoy your advise that is seeded in old school values and moral which have been around for ahes because they hold true ,listening to you when i come across your videos reassures me im doing things right as well as inspires me that those old school values are still valable today and i still have a chance with my children's literature
Listen when my dog dies I'm crying okay? IDGAF if anyone mocks me, im getting a bottle of jack Daniels and crying harder than any time a girl left me.
My wife turns be down all the time, I must accept it...I turn her down, now we need to talk.
Bottom line......avoid them and stay happy....
Strongest man that ever lived cried.
That's why if I cry, I make sure I'm alone
I've often mentioned missing out on not having a mom. Dad doesn't understand hormones, that time of the month, or just female thinking. But that's okay because my dad is the most loving, caring, parent I could hope for. My dad doesn't face double standards from me and my future husband will not either.
I would no laugh at a man that cried, I'd think he was human. It's sad that men don't show and feel emotion.. I'm very big on emotional freedom in my house.
It feels good to cry I'm not afraid of crying in any way whatsoever it's cleansing. People got a problem with it that's your problem.😅
Widower single dad here! Playgrounds? Having to call out to your kids every 10 minutes so people don't start staring at the man at the children's play area
We grieve alone. We can't trust anyone, particularly women when we are emotionally vulnerable
We ain't seething after 40s for sure, just walking heart attacks waiting to hit us.😳😐
If your diet sucks sure 😂
@@-Clarence- You dont know real men. I know of athletes that just drop dead, due to life stresses, not diet. If a dude is fit and rich and has no bull chit in his life, then maybe, but you can be a healthy dude, but if you are stressed out, you are a candidate for a heart attack or stroke. Stress is a big killer..now you know .🤔😐👌
The "man cold"
The guy at the playground was lucky that was all they accused him of.
Not to mention a completely unsubstantiated accusation ensuing and ruining the poor bugger's life. The justice system is guilty until presumed innocent on that score.
It really sucks stuff like this has to be explained
My double standards is i have to do all my chores while she is at work 2 hours before I get ready for work during the week
On the weekends i can't do anything i need to do But if she is off on the weekdays i still can't do anything
But i have to run around with her while she is doing her chores?
Someone explain this to me
