It went on for a while and had impressed quite a few people. The AI responses were incredibly human like and had personality even if it answered some questions incorrectly it was still quite impressive. Until someone eventually figured out there was no AI, and that users were really talking to each other thinking they were talking to AI. Openly discussing extracting resources from alternate dimensions for use in our own with no regard to the effect that it could have on the structure of the universe we already know. The fundamental problem with human existence is that we're so focused on what could be instead of what is. (According to Anthony Patch, Google only used 1024 cubits of that 2048 cubits.) CERN now has the 2048, and according to Anthony Patch, who only communicates from documented material, CERN will combine the 4096 -D-Wave with the 2048. The problem with the predictions is that there shouldn't be anything "special" about the present. The probability that we will live through such an epoch-making event in our lifetimes is tiny. Inflation theory at least starts up at a plank second in time from the expansion, and it explains somewhat how the singularity existed from low energy state to a higher one, at least in the first plank second. Prior to that is even further cutting edge science. So you're trying to assume a theory states something when it doesn't. Big bang doesn't say we came from nothing. That would be putting words in a theory's mouth.

Openly discussing extracting resources from alternate dimensions for use in our own with no regard to the effect that it could have on the structure of the universe we already know.
The fundamental problem with human existence is that we're so focused on what could be instead of what is. While the concept and possibility of 'parallel universes' is infinitely exciting, it's only a concept and we're already thinking about taking their resources.
If this actually comes into play it will just further perpetuate the reality that we haven't evolved in a long, long time. Like the Vikings, we still want what we don't have and we'll still do near-on anything to achieve it.
Not only that, if the idea of infinite universes is to be believed then it's highly unlikely that we're the first one to begin to understand inter-dimensional travel. Perhaps we should be hoping to achieve contact with alternate versions of ourselves in order to learn from them as oppose to taking what they have?

I came here because there is a robot called GPR-1 that is seemingly extremely capable for a robot and a fast learner. It acts like a human, it talks like a human, and it seems to learn like a human. Because this seemed extremely unbelievable I looked up what company made this which is Sanctuary AI. And this guy is one of the co-founders of it. By him stating that stealing resources from other dimensions is fine makes him look like he is not the best guy to lead this revolution. Most videos that feature the robot have comments and likes turned off but I found a good one that has them both turned on, it's called "Humanoid Robot Makes Coffee | GPR 1 By Sanctuary AI".
99% of men watching that one thought of replacing their flashlights. I'd say that's enlightening.

I've listen to this several times in the past and I'm one to not fall for this but he never gets back to bear bear at the end. If he does then I keep missing it. If you believe in this salesman of a very fast computer then you're falling right into the enemies trap of what you think is possible and will except as truth when presented to you. We are just as you've always thought and felt not as scientism is proposing. Just ask our creator if you dare. Those of us who have a relationship with our creator know what's really going on with all this hogwash. The enemy is slick be careful not to slip down this slippery slope. +Ickolloon E. The problem is he's actually spreading a lot of misinformation. A few examples:
- Experts are actually still debating whether D-Wave should count as a quantum computer. Only very tiny bit of it is actually using quantum mechanics, and it is far, far less impressive than a quantum computer in the usual sense.
- The analogy with donkey vs SR-71 for speed of progress is total BS. I'm guessing he's referring to the exponential growth of computational power with number of Qubits, which is simply wrong in this context. The 512 Qubit Vesuvius is definitely NOT 500,000 times faster than the 128 Qubit Rainier. I doubt it's even 4 times faster.
- Google purchased D-Wave to experiment with some new searching algorithms. That has nothing to do with "A.I.-research"
- I don't know what the f*** he is thinking when he predicted the discovery of habitable exoplanets by 2018. We already have discovered some candidates, but it's very unlikely we'll be able to confirm oceans and atmosphere on them by then. And even if, it will be because of new space telescopes; quantum computers have jack to do with it.
- Parallel universes. Yeah, that's just cheap attention grab now. It's one of many interpretations to quantum mechanics, however it's completely irrelevant to the functioning of quantum computers. It's also completely different and unrelated to the type of parallel universe he was referring to in prediction #2, which we most certainly won't see evidence of by 2023.
- Prediction #3: Creation of general A.I. Again, nothing to do with quantum computers. This shit is just dumb.
Interesting ideas, but I just don't know what to make of this whole "parallel universes" thing.
+Godless Glen It seems like he's just talking about the many worlds interpretation of quantum mechanics, which is the most popular interpretation among physicists right now.

That is about as practical as the multiple earth theory so maybe it's time for us to take a nice centered "We don't know but anything is possible" point of view, and maybe our species can actually progress at a decent pace.
+iinRez Not everything is possible though. There are many things completely impossible; you could go name an infinite events that are impossible, and an infinite events that are possible.
But anyway, not sure what you mean by creation theory. Big bang theory is a very strictly defined theory that essentially states that at some point, all space time and energy within it was at one point, and that it expanded.
It doesn't describe what the point (singularity) in any detail.
From the observations of red shifting galaxies further in distance and especially the cosmic radio background noise, it appears to be accurate, that at one point the universe was a singularity, it came from a moment where space-time didn't exist, energy density was without a space-time or undefined volume space. What that is, the theory doesn't try. That's the leading edge of science, they're trying to figure more out about it. Inflation theory at least starts up at a plank second in time from the expansion, and it explains somewhat how the singularity existed from low energy state to a higher one, at least in the first plank second. Prior to that is even further cutting edge science.
So you're trying to assume a theory states something when it doesn't. Big bang doesn't say we came from nothing. That would be putting words in a theory's mouth.
