i just started winding my entire yarn stash and found your channel! you are so fun to listen to and it’s relaxing too, i’m now on a marathon of all your content, lots of love!!
You should totally make the elephant mama made mini lovey with the Fog! I’ve made the deer and fox so far and love them both!!! Let us know what you think of the Premier Chenille Basix Brights! I’ve been wanting to try it since the book was released and of course all of the colors that I would use have been OOS ever since. Yes, the Bernat Sparkle is thicker than the regular! It’s also a little harder to work with in my experience! The Baby Blanket Terracotta for my fox lovey. It’s the PERFECT color for it!! 🧠
I think I have to too! I’ll keep you updated on what I decide to use the premier basix for! That kinda sucks that the sparkle is thicker because it doesn’t pair well with the other bernat colors!
I am not hard of hearing, but my 15 year old daughter is. She lost her hearing thanks to chemo. But she beat cancer's ass so it's all good! She has non-existent high frequency hearing. I've always wanted to learn ASL, I need to just do it at some point.
Yes! Kick cancer’s ass! ASL is a very expressive and fun language, some parts of the Deaf community can be (how do I say this nicely) not the most accepting, but I believe ASL can be for everyone!
@@miss.a.crochet I totally get it. If your only way of communicating with the world is ASL, it's probably intimidating when hearing people want to learn. I would hope that people would understand my situation, but if not it's fine! Doesn't deter me!
I can tell you have a lot of respect for ASL and Deaf culture so I’m sure a majority would love to have you learn, there is just some individuals that get a little weird about it so I thought I’d give you fair warning (some Deaf people don’t even like that hard of hearing people wear hearing aids, it’s just such a different culture!)
So, as promised, I'll tell you what I think: What a cute video! I felt like this was a true bit of yourself and I love it 💞 I can understand that you like some aspects of crocheting more than others. It's the same with knitted socks with me. The heel is my least liked part. I try to make it in one go, so I don't make mistakes but the other parts are so much more chill and I can watch something on the telly. I feel you with the hearing and movies. My hearing is fine but my understanding is not. I have a lot of health issues (including fibromyalgia and migraines with aura) and I read lips a lot to help me understand. But I live in Germany, so a lot of movies are synchronised. I love watching in original english if possible, but we don't always get the subtitles. Or worse: the synchro and the subtitles in german were made by two different people and are different. I started palying Stardew like a month ago and I enjoy it very much! I like games where the camera is non mobile. Motion sickness is a problem for me. I played a lot of MMos over the years (I will be 40 next year) but it's just to much. Due to the constant pain and brain fog I need to adjust my hobbies. It was hard to admit that my disabilyties made it impossible to work anymore... In a couple of month it will be my second year of not working. I struggle but I keep on fighting. The social isolation is hard, too. I don't look sick so people think I am faking it. Wish you an awesome christmas time and all the best with school and everyhing! 😘 Sorry for the mistakes, my migraine is acting up and everything is kind of blurry...
🧠 this was a great video. I am also a Switch game nerd. I just downloaded Palia (free fantasy farm game) but I've been crocheting and haven't found the time to play 🙃
Do you cake your chenille yarns as well? I’m so excited that I received a yarn winder for Christmas and I’ve been caking all of my Bernat Blanket yarn! I’m not sure if the chenille yarn (sweet snuggles, Premier Parfait Chunky) will hold up to the winder? I don’t want to ruin it, but the cakes are so pretty! 😂
this is so relaxing to watch ❤❤❤
I’m glad you like it!!

Thank you so much! Have fun winding, make sure to take breaks so your arms don’t fall off haha

Been playing DBD since it came out...great game!!! Have not met another crochet artist who even knows what it is!
haha yeah I don’t think it’s very popular in the crochet community 😂
🧠🧠🧠 this was fun to crochet along! Thank you!
I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 🫶🧠
I have this ball winder and it’s the best thing I’ve ever bought! I had gone through 3 other crap winders before getting the Stanwood winder. 🧠

I clicked on "CC" and it worked. Hope you had a great craft show. Keep up the good work. (🧠)
Awesome! Thank you, I really appreciate it! I just had the show today and… 👀 y’all aren’t even ready for what happened!!!!!

Oooh I have heard great things about it! You’ll have to let me know if you like it when you start playing it!

Yes I do!
@@miss.a.crochet Whelp, guess what I’m gonna go do now? 😂
@@Lorrainebreternitz lmao have fun winding hahaha
Unwind the yarn from the skein before you wind it an it goes by easier an faster
I’ll have to try that out!
🧠 binge watching. 😊
haha thank you!!
What's the benefits to caking your yarn?
It compacts the yarn so it’s easier to store, less risk of tangling, and it creates a center pull!
@@miss.a.crochet aah gotcha
which brown bernet do you use?
I like Taupe and Almond
