Got a standard FNX 2 years ago. Shoots like a dream. The 15 rounds is the highest capacity for a .45. The single action trigger is a bit sloppy but very acceptable. It can be carried and used cocked and locked in Condition 1. Perfect companion to my FN SCAR 17 as SHTF load out.
That was the shops cant shoot new guns do to some people don’t like their new gun shot… only do videos on guns I own, one of our employees or used guns.
I found a non tactical version with the black slide and FDE frame at a gun show brand new for $600. I could not believe my eyes. I have never filled out a 4473 so fast before.
@@aspenskye15 I don't think you have to have it permanently attached. .Mines not, I can take it off, I can always swap out for my old barrel too.. the 1911 is great for the mod because of the springs ...you can mix 460 rounds with regular ammo. I can't do that. But I'm ok with it. My upgrade actually comes with a softer spring to let my FNX shoot lighter ammo and well as a heavy spring for the 460 ammo. I thought that was cool....so with the upgrade I can shoot way more diffraction kinds of ammo with no problem 😊
This is my favorite carry gun for flannel and/or jacket weather. My red dot doesnt work properly tho so its off. But i do have a streamlight tlr-1 on mine as well for carry
I like mine ALOT. But the suppressor height sights are obnoxious. If you are running a red dot, swap the sights for standard ones. You will NOT be sorry.
To be very honest I don’t particularly care for either vortex optics. I do love the Vortex Defender on subs & micros I like Trijicon, Leupold,& Holosun for compacts to full-size
@@dukessportshop Our gun laws are beyond stupid. Put into place by a knee jerk reaction. So a 6 shot 22lr revolver is illegal yet you can own a semi auto shotgun with 12 shots 🤡
Don’t buy this package. The vortex optic sucks and the gun case is subpar compared to the normal FNX 45 tactical case. Learned the hard way from experience. Look for the regular gun or sometimes you can find a 5 mag special. I’d go with the 5 mag special as mags can be $45-$50 each. Purchased 2 extra mags and a RMR type 2 before I left the store. It also doesn’t come with the RMR mounting plate if you get the vortex optic. +$50 for the plate.

I almost purchased one of these at a recent gun show because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GUN but then I saw the same vendor had a Brushed Stainless Steel Magnum Research desert eagle .50AE and…. Well you know the rest lol I am now paying $2.50 every time I squeeze the trigger, but I MUST SAY it is well worth every $

We are an FFL shop but the owner has had this set up since it was released and he’s had 0 issues with his and we very seldom see these guns being traded in. Show says a lot about it
