I love that text of yours! Sure the world is created for us to love, see and take care off. And "us" is all of us, humans, animals, vegtebels! We all share this lovely world! Blesses to you all, and peace!
Baldur's Gate.....Neverwinter Nights.......Morrowind........Oblivion.....Guild Wars THEY REMAIN THE BEST RPG GAMES EVER! And this music playlist is fenomenal, epic and GREAT!
No matter how great Skyrim is, and how great the tales you can imagine to it are, it will never lead me so far astray as Morrowind and Oblivion did. They took me to a world unknown, full of magic to be cast, horror to be felt and adventure to be waged. Thanks for taking me back to this world for 9:26... you just made an RPG-veteran happy.
sometimes the beauty of a place in a picture ist just that you dont know what is behind the things you can see. when i wander around i can see places that look so beautiful an magical from the distance an when you are there it's just nice. I love those pictures like thisone, when you can only imagine whats behind that hill and behind you that makes it so mystic and you can feel that yen to see distance places
The truth is, is that you live in a much more beautiful place than in that picture! You and I live in a place of pure ravish! Earth is filled with such wonder and all you have to do to see it is to take a look around. Fields of endless gold of barley and wheat, the infinite blue of a cascading ocean, the limitless green of a mighty rainforest, and mountains that reach up and gently brush the sky with it's rocky fingertips - And best of all, this world is created just for us!
If you immerse yourself within the music and let the feelings and meanings of the instruments wash over you, some of this music can actually bring tears to your eyes.
The best part of morrowind for me as a kid using the paper map in the box to find my location and plan ahead kids these days will never have a kinda experience like that
the very first song that plays brings back oh so many memories. Loved Icewind dale 2 then and always will. Personal favorite thing of the game is the voiced tales of what your doing told from the perspective of Oswald Fiddlebenders niece at the intro to each chapter
I think we have all forgotten the gaming time-period Skyrim was released in. As such a big open-world, it was a pioneer to its new genre of fantasy. It's lasting effect to make us compare it to games nowadays only shows how good of a game it really was and STILL is.
A beautiful way of looking at the world, save for the strange hubris of your last sentence. We are a part of this world, and have evolved within it. It does not belong to us; nor was it created for us. The fact that life seems to be so rare in this universe makes being alive much more magical and wondrous than it could be if we, and the rest of nature, had simply been willed into being. Existence is exhilarating. Inserting wishful thinking into one's worldview is in my view tantamount to heresy.
Skyrim was not out yet, when this clip was made. But the song definitely was. I remember hearing the song when the game was first announced in December 2010.
Nice view of the Imperial city there... Morrowind's soundtrack will always be the best in the world, but TES have got it nailed music-wise, it's perfection ♥
Just made it to the Severed Hand. Only took me 10 years and 5 playthoughs. Savoring the moment... my second mage has six Fireballs consigned to memory, and Flint the Barbarian is wielding the Club Of Destruction +3. The time is almost upon us... XD
I agree with you on that one, though closing the gates did get tedious after a while. I started to take two hundred mile detours to avoid running into those things
would just like to point out, the second track isn't called Call of Magic, but is in fact Nerevar Rising. Other than that, awesome selection, hope to see more in a similar vein!
Still loving the "Reign of the Septims", very awesome intro. IMHO you missed some epic soundtracks in your tracklist like: Gothic 3, The Witcher and Ego Draconis :) Anyway thanks for sharing!
Ahh, Targos Town. I got so annoyed when I encountered enemies in the beginning because when I did, this song got replaced by the combat music and then didn't come back until I reentered the area.
The pleasure of a fantasy is that is a dream,Facts are what guides our knowledge,Morals are what makes your choices bad or good.Life is about living not to serve some higher power that isn't there. You act as if we there is no gratitude you are wrong about what you have implied through your speech.Philosophy is not you're strong suit I'm glad you felt the need to share it on UA-cam but it is irrelevant.
I do believe that first screenshot is from Oblivion. The tower looks like part of the Imperial City :D I was secretly hoping there was Elder Scrolls music and Pictures, but you can never tell XD
I think under the dark span is a revamp of a track that's played in sorrow's furnace? Morrowind and Prophecies Theme are amazing. I would add some of the faction music as I love the use of some asian instruments (put aside has gw1 has just incredible fitting music to the locations throughout the entire game). Factions-Intro, Shing-Jea Monestry, Age of Dragon and the amazing Kaineng backround-theme (which wasn't written by Jeremy Soule). I would also add Eye of the Storm. :>
I think its a nostalgia thing, but i agree, I loved the mystery and sense of adventure in Morrowind and oblivion. thats not to say Skyrim isn't brilliant! great music!
Melissan (BG2: Throne of Bhaal - Inon Zur) Kuldahar (Icewind Dale - Jeremy Soule) Heart of the Forest (Neverwinter Nights - Jeremy Soule) Night on the Plains (Baldur's Gate - Michael Hoenig)
thats what makes it so much better. more of a challenge. actually following someones directions instead of some dumb ass arrow that magically points to everything.
I think that could be argued for Oblivion, based on the fact that my best gaming memories were based on it and Oblivion's atmosphere, but i played Morrowind too and both were excellent games.
The first song is one of my favourites; brings back the time when I was playing Icewind Dale 2 when I was just like 11.
Not surprised that Jeremy Soule composed most of these.
First song is from Icewind Dale 2: masterpiece!

This relaxed me so much. I had a really rough, stressful day and for 9 minutes 26 seconds, I was completely at peace. Thank you!
I love that text of yours! Sure the world is created for us to love, see and take care off. And "us" is all of us, humans, animals, vegtebels! We all share this lovely world! Blesses to you all, and peace!
Dear sir or madam, opening this list with Icewind Dale is of very good taste. You have just made my day.
Listening to this epic fantasy music while writing books is amazing! I'm definitely going to remember to listen to this next time!
Baldur's Gate.....Neverwinter Nights.......Morrowind........Oblivion.....Guild Wars THEY REMAIN THE BEST RPG GAMES EVER! And this music playlist is fenomenal, epic and GREAT!
oh wow, Icewind Dale II... That takes me back... Haven't played that in over a decade. Must find it and play again!
No matter how great Skyrim is, and how great the tales you can imagine to it are, it will never lead me so far astray as Morrowind and Oblivion did. those soundtracks are so beautiful that they make me cry.
1:43 i see you sneaking some elderscrolls in there
Its good old morrowind :)
the picture is from Oblivion i think.
Morrowind i a previous Elderscrolls game
its literally the main theme from morrowind
The best part of morrowind for me as a kid using the paper map in the box to find my location and plan ahead kids these days will never have a kinda experience like that
You're so right. Sometimes I wish games would still be like that nowadays.
'Kid' and 'Morrowind'. Haha, you're so young.
mannnnnnn You made me cry!! this is what I want. to live in such a world
All fantastic games, and would agree with you sir, greatest music ever lol brings back a lot, long live Mr Jeremy Soule.
Beautifull! Absolutely amazingly described the world that's been given to us, to love and to care. Only sad thing have gotten out of way.
the very first song that plays brings back oh so many memories. Loved Icewind dale 2 then and always will. Personal favorite thing of the game is the voiced tales of what your doing told from the perspective of Oswald Fiddlebenders niece at the intro to each chapter
Goddamn, Icewind Dale soundtrack never fails to send an epic shiver up my spine.
and about the Dion Theme ^^ i missed it
but that is a amazing video , congratulations ^^
Great music for relaxing and inspiration...
Enjoy it all, People!
I think we have all forgotten the gaming time-period Skyrim was released in. As such a big open-world, it was a pioneer to its new genre of fantasy. It's lasting effect to make us compare it to games nowadays only shows how good of a game it really was and STILL is.
I always searched for the first one :D Thanks
And awesome that you are using Elder Scrolls Music too :D
Awesome. The Elder Scrolls music gives me chills.
Morrowind's Call of magic is sooo nostalgic :) and so good. Thanks
Nice poem to describe the world of fantasy!

this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever read!!
Well, I'm drawing right now and this sound is sooo inspiring!
I must say you guys made my night. good show you two =)
(not trying to be sarcastic, you did make my night)
i could forget every name and every face from oblivion but this song is just so familliar!
I don't know any of this songs but i'm listening this while reading book and i have to admit that all of them are awesome.
Easthaven Theme has to be one of the most beautiful composed for any game
This is awesome it really adds flavor to the game table thank you
Oblivion Soundtrack - Peace Of Akatosh and this in the background perfect combination
OMG I am running off to these far off valleys to create my life in freedom!!
Well chosen. These are definitely top shelf.
I like how you just used the side of the imperial city wall and the sunset form Oblivion, it made for a good theme with the music....derp:P
Amendment; Wow the Guild Wars theme really took me back, not heard that for years.
Love your taste! Please make more of these :)
The Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion. My first RPG game, and my first Elder Scrolls game. I love it :)
Skyrim was not out yet, when this clip was made. But the song definitely was. I remember hearing the song when the game was first announced in December 2010.
This is my wild Saturday night on the town.
Nice view of the Imperial city there... Morrowind's soundtrack will always be the best in the world, but TES have got it nailed music-wise, it's perfection ♥

Anyway thanks for sharing!
It's absolutely beautiful. I haven't played Icewind Dale, but I think I'll give it a try after listening that music *_*
Ahh, Targos Town. I got so annoyed when I encountered enemies in the beginning because when I did, this song got replaced by the combat music and then didn't come back until I reentered the area.

Very nice, thank you for the upload
Icewind Dale had the best tracklist ever, god I miss that game
You deserve a medal... !
Yes, my friend, YES! A thousand times, YES!
I feel the same way about the fallout series. Its been 5 years since Fallout 3 came out, and I still play it time and time again.
Morrowind! Best rpg track ever! Only challenged by Lord of the Rings music!
so true
Morrowing music, can't beat it, its too awesome!
Alright, I thought that might have been it but wasn't sure. Thanks!
Just say.
The Elder scrools series is my best childhood.
Allways remember those times
That is the best comeback i've heard! *clapping*
I do believe that first screenshot is from Oblivion. The tower looks like part of the Imperial City :D I was secretly hoping there was Elder Scrolls music and Pictures, but you can never tell XD
MY GOD!
MORROWIND!
That's a most epic soundtrack evah
Icewind Dale rules!!
Call of Magic is also quite good!!
Skeleton of a Town (Icewind Dale II) *^*...

Oblivion Soundtrack is my favourite music I've ever heard in any game...
I think its a nostalgia thing, but i agree, I loved the mystery and sense of adventure in Morrowind and oblivion. thats not to say Skyrim isn't brilliant! great music!
I miss the epicness of Oblivion's orchestral score :(
it is not just for us but everything in this world
For this, I should subscribe.
first piece is from Icewind Dale - Targos Theme
RPG veteran also ^_^ when i remember those days it makes sad a little :( but its ok at least I remember this epic music again :)
Melissan (BG2: Throne of Bhaal - Inon Zur)
Kuldahar (Icewind Dale - Jeremy Soule)
Heart of the Forest (Neverwinter Nights - Jeremy Soule)
Night on the Plains (Baldur's Gate - Michael Hoenig)
Though it wasn't released at the time, Skyrim's Town 3 music deserves to be on this list :).
1:22
Tears of joy and bliss.
What do you mean don't? That was wonderful!
thats what makes it so much better. more of a challenge. actually following someones directions instead of some dumb ass arrow that magically points to everything.
thanks im learning game developement and really like this for my game im making for fun
I think someone needs to get a hold of the Guild Wars (entire) soundtrack now.
its so peaceful
Among all epic game soundtracks Morrowind theme is one step in ahead. It's just something you can't argue with.
The background is from OblivioN!! That game is really awesome!
" I'm sure they will let us go"...
"Here comes the guard"
"Better do what they say"
Started the video
Looked at the description
Left the video
Geordan Duffy why on earth did you do that
I'm into the music you can find in JRPGs and besides, the music in this video is quite dull.
Geordan Duffy Icewind dale and Icewind dale II and Oblivion-Morrowind L0L
Ronod Nanirusu What are those? If they're PC games, then that makes sense. I only play 3DS and PS3 games.
It's in the description- although Morrowind and Oblivion are elder scrolls games.
Best. Fantasy Music. Ever
Even though I just searched for Fantasy RPG music, I'm still calling you a huge nerd.
The Elder Scrolls is and will always be a masterpiece.
I think that could be argued for Oblivion, based on the fact that my best gaming memories were based on it and Oblivion's atmosphere, but i played Morrowind too and both were excellent games.
