when u realize a cardgame has better soundtracks than most of the games these days
sad :(
Actually better than the whole music industry.
@@Super3136 What music industry? When i turn on the radio, all i hear is shit.
These soundtracks were originally from Witcher 3
@@Mediados there's literally nothing good on the radio anymore. Only good kind of music these days is instrumental music, which I've always loved instrumental music anyway.
You've got the heart of an An Craite.
Nan an an an an an An Craite!
Asgalagaarrrrr!!!!
JUST ONE BITE
DEER GOD come now, and listen to the glories of Clan An Craite!
I don't know what that is but I'm assuming its Witcher related, and since I started the Witcher series for the first time (with 3 sadly, wish I could go in order) I believe I'll have a fun time finding out what it means~
I feel Skellige has the best music in Gwent
And in The Witcher 3
Jerooski : Actually if you play Gwent long enough, u may find 3 theme songs of each faction are amazing. Each faction theme song has notable instrument so you can recognize who you are going to play against before screen done loading.
Nilfgaard and Monsters are my favourite
"The Mighty Jarl of Skellige" is my favorite Gwent song.
This song should be included in every military's war soundtrack.
You are correct.
This is why I mainly play a Skellige deck. That song is too good!
This and the War Cry card :D
MrBourlingueur haha that skellige deck with the berserkers and ceirys calling in all the shield maiden... That combo is devastating!
you could be very wrong with your assuption.
Lol, I spammed by way to 3k just with Kambi and Axeman , I love SK
But you don't get to hear Skellige music if you play the deck, only if you play vs Skellige...
you nordlings will never understand our customs. *THIS IS SKELLIGE!*
Czas na rejzę Bracie. płyniesz ze mną?
zenek kapusta wut?
A black Skelligan, ah , of course.
at 1:12 it turns from awesome to masterpiece
When it whips out the melody of one of the Skellige combat themes...
10/10
HassouTobi it's so awesomely rhythmic... Perfect for fighting to.
1:12 you simply can't listen to this without imagining skellige longships blasting its way thought stormy sea with waves smashing on the hulls in rythm of basses and berserker staning on bow of the ship with his axe in hand
This picture exemplifies why Hjalmar an Craite didn't hesitate to help Geralt. They do crazy on the regular.
Also because Hjalmar loves Ciri 😉
@Senile Crocodile Crach is one of the best characters in the Witcher universe. RIP homie.
@@Zireael_1251 First and foremost, Hjalmar at least loves Ciri like a sister: they spent much of their childhoods together. I remember Chrach saying that when they were kids, they thought they were going to get married, but he set them straight. I'd actually be interested to know why you think he's in love with her, because I never thought of it like that before.
@@kakarroto007 It's in the books. In Tower of the Swallow there is a conversation between Crach and Yennefer in which he tells her about Hjalmar's and Ciri's past. He tells her how Hjalmar lost to Ciri in an ice skating game. In that game every "competitor" had to jump over a row of rocks, the bigger and longer the row, the more respect you get. Hjalmar was the best at this game and no one of the Skelligers dared to challenge him. But Ciri did. She jumped over the greatest group of rocks and Hjalmar now had to do better than that if he didn't want to lose to a girl. He ended up injuring himself and had to lie in bed for some time to rest and heal. During his recovery, Ciri was visting him and when someone entered and saw them together, they were both blushing. Then Hjalmar told Crach that he wants to marry Ciri, and they were both less than 15 years old so Crach didn't really took this seriously. But when he told about that to Calanthe, she decided to take Ciri back to Cintra and not allow her to visit Skellige for some time. After Nilfgard invaded Cintra, Hjalmar and his fellow Skellige warriors went viking to the Nilfgardian lands. For Hjalmar, it was, among other things, a revenge for his dream future wife. Sorry for so much reading I provided to you by the way 😉
@@Zireael_1251 Thank you! I only read the Last Wish, and Ciri and Hjalmar weren't even born yet. But I do remember in TW3, Crach told Geralt that Hjalmar and Ciri declared they were betrothed, but they were only 14. I think he seemed dismissive of it, and chalked it up to kids being kids. I'm really excited to see what CDPR does with the Witcher franchise next, as they have hinted that Geralt's story has concluded.
This makes me feel the badass of people skellige has.
Skellige is colder than that.
~hjialmar when throwing wraith back to the portal it came from.
Like it how first few seconds fit the leader introduction, first minute - the card switch/preparation, and the rest is match action, glorious battle.
this has been stuck in my head all day
Dude I miss this soooooooooo much. Beta gwent forever in my heart.
I felt this so hard
Monsters - Swarm the shit out of you
Scoia'Tael - Outmaneuver the shit out of you
Northern Realms - Bronze card spam the shit out of you
Skellige - Discard the shit out of you
Nilfgaard - Spy the shit out of you
Now also featuring Syndicate - Poison the shit out of you
That's it, that's the whole game
THIS FINALLY MADE ITS RETURN TO GWENT! Hype!
Best song in Gwent history.
Yeppppp!!! ^^
I was so upset when they removed it, this song was so amazing in the game.
What?
how do I play it?
No 🎩
@@Burrdmizzle wait did it come to the new gwent? didnt here it yet!
Congratulations for all composers of this beauty!
IMO, this is one of the Top 5 best songs from all Witcher universe. I'm loving playing this beta version of Gwent. Thanks for the upload.
What are the other top 4?
A Mere Pigeon hunt or be hunted, merchants of novigrad, you're... Immortal and silver for monsters
Annnnd its gone.
It gets colder than that in Skellige!
fucking legend
Ahhh Gwent beta nostalgia
The best song in Gwent history.
Yepp
I really wish I could go back in time just to play it once more...
How deaf do you have to be to remove this music from the game? Like WTF...
The new one is really cool too, hear it: ua-cam.com/video/wct5bmiCjjA/v-deo.html
I came to this video again after hearing the homecoming version(which isn't bad by any means) but I think this one is better, feels more grandiose
@@PassTheGrenadePlease I think you're right. Never heard this version before and am used to the new version, but this one sounds quite more... detailed and powerful. But I love the new one nonetheless
agreed. another song that i don't think made it past the beta, was "Nest of Monsters". It was funky and weird, but still pretty dope.
ikr, I only play skellige deck for this song.
i'll always comeback here for my glory days !
Who knew vikings + jaw harp = musical perfection
What other instruments do they use? I want to learn to play this
Na chwałę Skellige!
Up and at 'em, lazy mingers! Ye'll sleep when ye're dead!
This was the best song in vintage Gwent. I miss it in Homecoming, but I can always turn the game volume all the way down and play this instead!
Its weird that they removed the option to turn on classic music in HC (used to be possible in vintage Gwent). I mean, yeah in HC the music is dynamic and what not but I dont think thats a reason to disable that option =D
Now it's back, they reintroduced it with a recent patch!
*FOR SKELLIGE'S GLORRYYYYY!!!*
Valhaaaaaaalaaaa!
WHO WANTS TO TASTE SKELLIGE STEEEEEEEL
FOR SKELLIGEEE!!!!
Ahh teh old glory days of gwent, when I loved playing the game :) Playing Skellige weather axeman . Sad times now post homecoming :(
Good old kambi for me with a decked out madman lugos and Hjalmar good old days :'D
I. Love. This.
Single-handedly the best music in Gwent
This song pumps me up and at the same time clears my soul. Mastapiece.
STANNIS! STANNIS! STANNIS!
Best song ever, Ty Golden Phoenix for sharing it !
That intro with the bagpipes sends chills all over my body
Tuirseach!
Mikos MaXDi best clan by far
Skellige music is the fucking best
Daniel Manfrini Which ones are your top 5? Mine:
1. The Mighty Jarl of Skellige
2. You're...inmortal?
3. Silver for monsters
4. The Mandragora
5. The Wolf and the swallow
I would put 5 on number 3 and number 4 on number 2 other than that, its the same.
I would put The Mandragora as N1.
Excellent choices.
Jerooski same with merchants of Novi grad and hunt or be hunted
1. Steel for humans (Velen combat 3)
2. Gusta mi magla
3. Geralt of Rivia
4. Hearts of Stone main theme
5. Ladies of the Woods
I miss fighting Skellige players from beta. More fun than I've ever had in Hearthstone, Yu-Gi-Oh!, or any TCG
Skellige's theme is the only one that sounds like shit's going down
I like how it slowly creeps over from Crach to Hjalmar
The song remind me of Jalmar and Cerys
Let's not forget Crach
Hjalmar my friend :>
what a start....
Very adrenalin inducing, get my blood pumping everytime
Marcin Przybyłowicz make so awesome gameing music!
Jeez' this beat is still baller than hell. I keep coming back to it as I'm MID DISCOVERING the Witcher series starting with the third game!
Playing Skellige in #Gwent is epic as it is. But this music makes it even more enjoyable. Masterpiece!
Been with skellige since day 1 and never left it, Glory to isles!
SK Mains raise your crachs!
Heart of an An Crait
Cunning of a Tuirseach
Stubbornness of a Drummond
Piety of a Heymaey
Sight of a Brokvar
Passion of a Tordarroch
As Rouge as a Dimun
not a single Nordling will understand the islands, this is SKELLIGE!
Lmao nordlings aren't even their enemies
1:35 epic!
Cuando escucho esto me imagino a docenas de navios de guerra de Skellige con centenares de vikingos cabreados lanzando gritos de guerra mientras las olas tambalean los barcos y una intensa lluvia cae sobre sus cabezas.
It's just purrrfect, thak you for uploadnig it.
I'm not sure but i think this song, or very similar one was in the base game or dlcs but i can't find it :-/
It's this one: ua-cam.com/video/_YnJNKCv0Es/v-deo.html
*SKELLIGEEEEEEEEEE!!*
I love this as a fight theme in the witcher3 ♥
Marcin Przybyłowicz has quickly become one of the best game soundtrack composers in the business, he's now one of my favorite composers along with Jeremy Soule, Mark Morgan, Inon Zur, Martin O'Donnell, Jesper Kyd. I highly recommend checking out his most recent work on the game Seven: the days long gone (Unique stealth RPG, good game, check it out)
I wish some of these tracks were in Witcher 3 main game! Absolutely love TW3, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine soundtracks! Maybe someone could/will add some of these Gwent standalone tracks via a mod, that'd be great. I need to get back into Gwent, played a little bit, certainly enjoyable, easy to drop in/out for short bursts at a time yet also has enough meat on the bone to become addictive. Looking forward to the single player campaigns!
Removed from the game because they found people played skellige too much just for the song
I definitely want to know what is that monster in the background
I am not sure but It looks like the kayran from witcher 2
@@Gwynbleidd27_ ooohh make sense yeah
Interesting that the soundtrack for this game is an extension of the Witcher 3 soundtrack. They officially released a lot of previously unavailable music
This is so much fucking epic! I love this stuff
Lovely !
What a banger.....
This song makes me proud to be 2% Scandinavian lol
The reason I play skellige decks 👌 honestly best type anyways
when this music arrives during the game something terrifying is going to happen to my opponent.
My favourite ❤
Beta gwent was fire!
They ruined it with homecoming😢
Remember playing skellige axeman in Gwent launch, the most OP deck
*Great swords creeping in*
That wasn't launch that was open beta
for real though, why is this song so much better than the others????
cette musique me rend dingue, elle donne envie d'entrer dans l'arene et d'y vaincre tes pires affront, c'est de l'art. j'voudrais y voir Mr Gonzales ( musical Genius) poser ses mains dessus....
Skelligeeeee!!!
Now it's the time.
Could you add the scoia'tael themes too?
I do love a good war horn in my music.
For me- this is the best track in gwent
Ok anyone hyped for gwent coming to android? I can't wait to take my op northern realms deck with wherever I go
F for the times my Scoia snipe deck took games off Greatswords, or my Queensgard took games of Gwent 1.0 Scoia ambush decks
the second Gwent lost this soundtrack was the second the game was dead
Tuiiirseach! ✊🏽🗡
AN CRAITE!!!
the best quote :D
Ohhhhhh myyyYYYYYY GODDDDDDD
Meaaad ! More mead !
AN CRAIIIITE!!!! Mayhap you'll gawk at Zerrikania's marvels too one day.
i hate playing against a Skellige deck but I love the music.
Dios mio si lo hacen genial hasta en Gwent.
Nice
When 1:12 kicked in I was like FUCK YES!
Это охуенно!
Любимый трек ещё с Ведьмака 3, ещё и переделанный под более боевую тему
Russian guy! How are you doing?
Good, my black friend :D
@@maloy_10p33
The Hunt Begins.
I really want to make a piano cover of this because of how great it is, but I'm too lazy to arrange it :P
Isaac Bragg-Gardiner you should do it and post it on UA-cam
I like that each deck seems to have a subset of players who use them:
Monsters: Cheapasses who just want a win.
Northern Realms: Newer players, or people with too much self-respect to use the Monsters deck.
Scoiatel: People who prefer stacking up effects, and making their opponent uncomfortable.
Skellige: People who just want to play the game, and enjoy the game.
theburgerfarm how bout Nilfgaard?
theburgerfarm
Monster Counter: Weather cards
Nilfgaard Counter: Decoys on your side so you can just pick up their spies
Northern Realms Counter: Scorch because of catapults and close bonds/ Torrential Rain
Sco'iatel Counter: Just a shit deck/ Storm weather effect (effects both melee and ranged only in Skellige deck)
Skellige: No Idea
He was speaking about the standalone. The decks are pretty balanced now actually. Even scoia'tael is good.
What are the abilities of Skellige? I never understood them in the standalone game^^
Darius I They are based on either discards, resurrects, damaging your own soldiers, or swarming the board with synergy cards like the queensguard iirc.
1:11
Still the best Gwent track.
great remix of the original
Is 'The Mighty Jarl of Skellige' The actual name of this song, or is it made up?
Yes, it's the actual name. CDPR recently released a Gwent EP at Spotify, iTunes, Google Play Music and other media services.
www.cdprojekt.com/en/media/news/gwent-witcher-card-game-ep-now-available-spotify-apple-music-google-play-music/
this is "Skellige Combat Theme 1" from The Witcher 3 basically and its amazing.
Why is this not in the new Gwent. The music of beta Gwent was much much better than that in the new one, wtf!!
My favorite faction in the whole game. Who wouldn't want to be FUCKING VIKINGS?!
my shield is my rampart !
Never fought that sea monster in the game. Was it fought in one of the books or in the previous games.
I don't wanna spoil, but yeah, in The Witcher 2.
@@GoldenPhoenixGaming thanks for the reply
Watch this at 1.25
Thank me later
Eh, I like it better at normal speed
By the way, is it possible to upload the music that plays in the Deck building section of the game? It's so serene and peaceful... but I can't seem to find it.
It is Witcher 3: Wild Hunt OST. Try searching Ard Skellig Village.
Many thanks!
Skellige's colder than this!
Hjalmar Craite a coming for ya!
RIP Crach
wtf this isnt in main
THIS IS SKELLLLLLLLLLLLLLIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
