This a little series I have decided to make. I will compile what I believe to be the greatest quotes of animated cartoon characters proceeded by a clip show set to a song I feel embodies the Character,this time being Gorilla Grodd. Powers Boothe is the best voice for Grodd. He's the only one who makes Grodd sound as intelligent as he is.

Kinda ironic, consider Grodd stated he's not much of a movie goer.
I don't know about anyone else, but I sure would've tried to get Mr. Heston's autograph at the moment of that reveal.
Grodd is criminally underused, in the entire DCAU he was the villain who came closest to destroying the Justice League
Yeah he was, excluding Doctor Destiny, the White Martians, Joker, Galatea and LexBraniac maybe.
Dark Claw he was one of the few villains to almost destroy the league. Great villain, but criminally underutilized, especially in Unlimited.
Excluding Luthor, Doctor Destiny, Brainiac, and Darkseid.

Grodd is such an underrated villain.
I'd be very happy if they surprised us and made him the main villain for The Justice League movie.
He will be in the "the Flash" tv series. It was hinted in the pilot episode
MrAlexB59 Very true. I saw that Grodd "easter egg" on the TV show. I think it's great. Hopefully, he will be on the show at some point in the future. If Season 1 does well then it might happen.
JazzyZenBrotha DC's youtube channel posted a clip from an interview with the cast member's. They hinted that Grodd may play an important role in season 1 :)

Hero What do you mean flash doesn't have good villains? Flash has arguably one of the best rogues galleries in comics period. Don't let the cheesy names, like Captain Cold or Mirror Master fool you. They are extremely well written.
What about his last words to Lex Luthor in Justice League Unlimited:

I'm glad you included 2:03- 2:11, that was one of the Grodd quotes that I remember the best. In fact, I think they make a nod to it in an episode of the current 'Flash' series, there's a scene in one episode in which Grodd at one point says "GRODD HATE BANANAS!"

Powers Boothe captured the intelligent, conniving side of Grodd while John DiMaggio captured the more animalistic side of him. Personally, I think the Batman Ninja version is the most accurate representation of the character, both a savage beast but also possessing great intellect.
Grod is an extremely underrepresented villain, he's as smart as Lex Luthor for goodness sake.
I prefer the more sophisticated Grodd.
What is the difference between Grodd and Inhumanite?

in the justice league cartoon I always thought he was a better leader then lex
Oh most definitely. In the JL/JLU Grodd is the superior leader as he’s more of a forward thinker; getting supervillains to not only work together, but also “trust” each other so that they got their backs (for 25% of the gross).
Lex can be a great manipulator, he suffers from tunnel vision (whether it be to destroy Superman or recreating Brainiac so that they can become one once again), whilst Grodd is more of a big picture charismatic leader, whose main hiccups was to transform humanity into apes (and also letting Luthor join the team)
I hope to see him in a live action movie.
And portrayed GOOD.

Grodd from BTBATB sounds too brutish for my liking, Powers Boothe gave it this classy, intellectual feel in Justice League Unlimited to the point that whenever he talked you couldn't help but get on his side, even when he was being condescending to others, perfect for a mind-controlling evil genius like Grodd if you ask me
He's silly in concept, but he's quite a villain
Androo Gnoix 99% of marvel and dc characters are "silly" in concepts (some of them were created in the 50s) but that doesn't mean they can't work fine if properly written
How is he silly in concept. Apes share our DNA to a great deal. There is a great deal of evidence that suggest we evolved from apes grodd is a quasi genius with a messianic personality complex. It's really hard to say if he is a villain or a hero think about it.
