The media, especially ESPN, covers him like the #1 overall pick should be covered not the #55 draft pick. Bronny should have come into the NBA on the humble instead of being the most hyped up 2024 draft pick. He wouldn't be drafted by any team except LA and wouldn't accept a two way contract. How does he make that call given his basketball resume? Bronny has taken the shine away from players who have earned their way into the NBA. He has all the characteristics of a spoiled brat being sheltered from reality especially after sitting out 1 game into summer league feigning an injury as to not be an embarrassment to his father's legacy.
Why "but"? Do people feel entitled to criticize first-rounders?

ESPN needs to end the Bronny hype train and focus on some rookies who have earned the hype like Dalton Knect who the Lakers drafted at #17. Boogie Ellis, who started in the backcourt along with Isaiah Collier (#29 Utah), for USC and averaged 16 ppg (41% 3fg) didn't get drafted, but Bronny James (4ppg/26% 3fg/36% fg/67% ft), who came off of the bench for USC did get drafted and received a 4 year/7 million dollar contract... wow. Who really deserved a contract just based on basketball related particulars? Lakers really had Bronny rated higher than Boogie? Bronny's family is very well off. Boogie Ellis could have potentially bought his mother a house if not for some NBA nepotism.
