Well done on completing the marathon!! I am currently doing couch to 5k and I ran for 20 minutes straight the other day! That sounds so short compared to a marathon but I never thought I would be able to run for that long. Your running content has helped to keep me excited and motivated to run.

On Strava you can either do a manual post which won’t show the route, or add privacy settings which allow you to put a privacy zone over the area your home is in! Hope this helps xx Congrats on your amazing marathon journey

By the way you can set up privacy areas on the strava settings (for 1 mile radius upwards). Hope this helps.

You can hide your location on strava if you go to settings, my privacy and then just scroll down to map visibility. There you can change your settings so no one knows where you start from or something else...

Don’t feel bad about not wanting to drive even if you have a license. I have a license but i have not driven in 3-4 years and I think would need to learn it all over again. Do not feel bad about it ☺️ lots of love 💗

Hi Holly. In regards to strava, if you were to select the activity, then click on the three dots on the top right corner, you should be able to edit map visibility. There after additional settings will be found under manage privacy settings. Also I don't know if this will change the settings for all activities or just for the chosen one. (This is on the mobile app). Hope it helps.

I also run for fun... I didnt count time or km... I remember how I wished I would run a marathon and wwwoosh I suddendly started running ultramarathons + 70km... :D I dont have a professional training plan, i just run when I want and how long I want. The only rule I have is run 80% of the race 5 days before the event. I am huge salomon fan and I use my basic physiology sport knowledge from med school.
BTW Thank you sooo much for the roller massage thing, its AMAZING! (not only after run but also after 8 hours shifts in hospital :)

I think before anyone starts running they should go to their dotor and have a full medical. Some people have other ailments and running may aggrivate them

Great video Holly but you need to be careful with taking advice from Dr. Google because there's a lot of websites giving repugnant (contradictory or incompatible) advice but we can all be guilty of self diagnosis ourselves ( myself included). It's always best to take specialist qualified advice from a qualified professional. Love 🥰 the update on your recovery vlog Holly and love 💕Holly.

Ever thought about trying barefeet shoes? Helped me with my achillies tendon and a lot of other parts of my body. The transition takes atleast 6 months.

Have you thought about a water bottle backpack ? They usually hold a few litres and I think you can mix in the electrolytes as well. They come with a straw which means you can drink as you need instead of when they hand it to you

I´ve ruptured my achilles tendons three times and I promise you you would´ve noticed if it was actually ruptured. When it happens there is no doubt in your mind what just happened :) :/
How do you find running routes for different lengths of runs? For example, if the plan says to do 30 mins run, how do you plan your route to make sure you come back home at around 30 mins?
U put a timer for 15 min and when it rings u run back home. Easy peasy lemon squeezy

You could show on a vlog the route you use here on youtube. Don't you want to or are you not open to meet with the subscribers you have on youtube? You could arrange a meet up or meeting with subscribers in a public place. Maybe there are other people who like running and and you could make a running group.

Hi, if I can respond, I think it’s totally possible! Go for it! I personally don’t know anyone who did it, but I know a girl who regularly runs half marsthons on a treadmill ☺️
Hi!:) i used to run a few halfmarathons before covid, and i always only trained on the treadmill from october- february, you can defenitly do it! just make sure you also train to run uphill, most treadmills have this function if not you can maybe train uphill running once it gets warmer :)
