Pleased to hear your running the London Marathon again I think you did really well last year and with as great time. That`s how I came across your channel, I am a keen but old runner but love looking for stuff on UA-cam to do with running, it sounds to me your really on the ball with your diet and nutritional intake, your training plan sounds good and following the same one as last year makes sense seeing as you did so well bar the Achillies issue. That might not be down to any thing you did but just bad luck on the day. I found for me that running on empty as in before breakfast suited me but we are all different and I have never done a Marathon. I look forward to following your vlogs and just carry on talking about your training and nutrition. Good luck.

Yes, Holly can run the London Marathon again. Good to start the training again. I would love 😍 to run for the London Marathon but it would mean having to travel from Scotland to London probably the day before the London Marathon and then after a few days of recovery in London traveling back to Scotland. Love 🥰 the vlog and love 💕 Holly.

Hello Holly!! So good you are running it again! I ran the half marathon in Athens this march and now I have started training for the authentic marathon of Athens in mid November! I am very happy for your future videos since this year we are going to train at the same time for the same purpose!! Fingers crossed we avoid all injuries! 😊🎉

i really fell off the running waggon during summer last year and again this early spring due to first the heat and my job, then now my mental health. i know its good for me so i really wanna get back into the habit of getting out, atleast twice a week for something minor to build the habit again. you have inspired me to go get it

As being a person living in hot n humid climate having temperature above 113 degrees, dehydration is common. Firstly do not chug water at a time rather drink in intervals. You can also use a mixture of sugar/salt, water and lemon for hydration. Also you must continue eating fruits with more water conc and the coconut water. This is something we do normally and cheers to another marathon holly!

omg! some fresh NB Fuelcell Elite 2... you should deffo run in them on the marathon day (and maybe 1-2 longruns before). They have a carbon plate and give you free seconds! much more responsive and bouncy, and also as much cushioning as the freshfoams.

I’m training for the Dublin city marathon in October and was panicking about balancing marathon training around the schedule of a new job I’ve recently started, so I was so happy to see you uploaded this video! You inspired me to sign up for the marathon in the first place so I’m so excited and inspired to do my best and give it my all 🙌❤️

The tight calfs would explain the trouble you've experienced with your achilles tendon. You gotta rest and recover properly between runs or your achilles may get worse. And just for additional information, it's no longer referred to as tendonitis. The term "itis" refers to inflammation and tendons don't have an inflammation process. So now it's called Tendonopathy. Incase anyone cares. Take care holly, best of luck with your marathon adventure.

I highly recommend Maurten gels. You take them every 6k and they work a treat. They don’t have different flavours and they are a unique kind of unset jelly texture. They are brilliant though!! See you on the start line! 😊👌

Holly, if you want to run the marathon again, just go and do it! I do not run and I will never want to run marathons because they could put a huge strain on my body. I prefer to walk, dance, swim, and work out in the gym.

Have you thought about barefoot running before? It’s supposed to help with your running form. You don’t have to do it all the time but for me it really helped. I started with only doing it every now and then but now I’ve been barefoot running for nearly 2 years straight.

I travel with the one pair of trainers usually salomon trail running shoes as they go well with the amount of walking i do plus i can hike and run off road with them. What i do is just wash them by soaking them in a bucket with washing powder then letting them dry in the sun or under a radiator as nobody likes smelly trainers especially in hostels and afterwards they become so clean and smell so nice. I reckon if you get the Nike alphafly next % as your race shoes you could break 3 hours......do it i believe in you.
