Bought this air fryer a week ago after watching this, I really like it. It replaced our last air fryer that took a header off the top shelf of our pantry. Its really nice to have a window and light and pre-heat.. I haven't even used the other categories, just air fry, but man it works really well. Great review.
Awesome! I just ordered with a four year Asurion guarantee. Can't wait to get cooking. A silent mode? Yes! That window light is going to be useful. Thank you for uploading!
This is a really great air fryer and I love it. It's everything I hoped an air fryer would be and I haven't experienced a single problem with it. I just wish the basket was slightly larger so I could roast a 5 pound chicken comfortably. I don't need an 8 quart machine but a 7 quart would be ideal. That's my only complaint. The window is placed perfectly and the machine is so quiet. It's a treat that it's 1700 watts. I'm glad that you are showcasing this air fryer.
Bought this model,no complaints now that I figured out the window does clear up after it drie, I also bout the Cosori Dual Blaze, elements top and bottom, this model is my favorite, if I had seen the Corsori no flipping no turning food, if I had seen the Cosori first i would not have bought the instant air fryer.
Great review -just ordered one as I really like the idea of being able to see the food while cooking and looks very easy to use - I did try the Cosori last year however when on it sounding like a 747 was taking off in my kitchen so went back
Great demo and very helpful, some were complaining that this brand would overheat and then force users to wait until it cooled down but I think they had a faulty unit. Now I know about the mute option and that it doesnt require the pre-heating or pausing to shake which is ridiculously annoying on the Gourmia brand.
I’ve been thinking about this unit, I just needed some comparisons to make sure I was getting the unit that’s right for me. You did an informative video. Thanks!
@@markt4605 thanks for the response. does water get stuck between the glass door and front? and does the glass get very dirty where the dirt gets stuck?
@@mathsdebater not that I see. The glass seems well constructed and I have not had any condensation. That said, it is a rather inexpensive item so no promises that won’t be an issue years down the road.
Ordered an Instant Vortex 6 plus yesterday and when it arrived, I looked up a tutorial and found this version that had a window. HOLD UP. What??? Same description, model, price, but one is a banger that lets you keep on an eye on doneness with a light and window? Guess what went back 30 seconds after landing on my door. I have no time for a lesser machine that costs the same but has less features. Betrayal, how dare you visit me again. Great review.
Great video. You changed my mind from the ninja fryer xl. Especially the part where you go through modding the button functions and ofc. the celsius :)
The correct and reliable cooking time starts from the time the preheating period has finished. This is an important concept to understand for achieving consistent, good results.
The directions that come with the air fryer say to not put the basket in the dishwasher but just wipe it out with a clean cloth. You can immerse or hand wash the tray though. Excellent demo and review. Mine just come today and I did the initial setup. I'll probably try some chicken legs in there tomorrow. It's reasonably compact and sits on my counter just fine.
Good, would have been interesting to see what they are using for a light and whether it is replaceable by a normal consumer. Seems they may not want that light on as often as most would like. I shall investigate when I get mine and get back to you.
6:47 It seems your unit has the new updated 'safety' feature that a lot of people don't like. After doing a complete cook cycle, and it after it says END, you can't cook anything else for the next 8 minutes. All the controls are locked out during that 8 minute timeout (except for the light's on/off button). That means you can't start another cook cycle right away. When someone asked Instant about it, Instant said that it was a new safety feature they added. The older units didn't do this. That makes using the newer updated model much more cumbersome if you want to cook multiply batches of food in a row. It seems the only way to override that 8 minute timeout, is to unplug the power cable, and then plug it back in... but that also means the preheat timer resets too, and then you'll need to wait once again before starting another cook cycle.
i was wondering what the differences were between this and the old model. I just bought the old model. wondering if i made a mistake.. the clear view is nice.
You've reviewed both and liked both. What is you opinion on Instant Pot Vortex Plus 6qt V the Ninja 6.5 qt with the max crisp? I'm torn on which seems better.
Hello, i need some advice, recently i bought one instant vortex plus clearcook air fryer. everything seems to ok but i noticed some rattling noise while opening or closing the basket or touching the top with basket remove. i think its coming from the heating element. is it normal or should i get a replacement?

I just bought one. Used it then wash. Water got in the window. Sprinkles of water and foggy. No way to wipe it out. Been 8 hours still not drying inside. Will return this item.
I've just ordered this one. Got fed up with using my deep fat fryer, which of course is not only unhealthy but a nightmare to clean. Did you use frozen chips in this video, and did you use any oil at all? Can't wait to get mine. Great video, very informative....thanks
Thanks for your video. I assume the similar Vortex model without window let's you put food in before reheating starts hust like you have done. My son can't be bothered with that function.
How is the smell? It's mesnt to have a replaceable filter to keep the majority of oil from aerosolizing and making your home smell like a fast food joint. This is a huge issue with the instant pot air fry lid. Does the filter work with this? Its the main reason I'm considering purchasing.
my $30 air fryer cooks chips well, but it cant bake or broil, it browns the top while the cake is not cooked on the bottom and melting cheese blows it off my toast, so i was looking for one that can grill without the fan and bake from the bottom, does this one do that
Say what? Just a dad doing a review of the instant vortex Plus! Just a dad is not just coffee anymore. Thanks for this superb review. 🎉 Do you think this one is better than the stainless steel basket one?

Everything I've cooked in this unit has come out great ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB ! Everything tastes so good. Some of the recipes I've changed a little to improve the taste. For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!
I bought it last Fall but after 4 months the digital readout began fading out and by 5 months it was completely unreadable. I contacted Instant and was asked to send them my serial #, my purchase receipt and a video of the readout. The Cust. Serv rep ghosted me and to date, nothing from the company. I would not buy this product.

Couldn't you just set the time 1 minute too long, and then cancel it in the last minut. Or does the "shut down" still happen
