works great. i love that it has stainless steal pot inside ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxG-7WiT7ocumjytOpHDFt632PL0pxXRAg and not the one with coating. we used to have a coated pot before, and the coating slowly peels, and i am sure went into the food that we cooked. Absolutely love stainless steel, and will not use a coated product again. This pot has many settings and many buttons, and i need to sit down with a manual to figure out which setting to use. I used the basic functions, and even though i am not technologically skilled, i turned it on and assembled it without any help.Very satisfied with this product overall.

Great video! I just got this model about 4 weeks ago and that was the most informative and comprehensive review I've seen yet. Thanks. I'm using it for everything after my toaster/convection oven quit. It's so easy to clean and all the accessory gadgets make the possibilities endless. Again, thanks for educating me on the subtleties on button verses actual function. Subscribed. (looking up that reverse sear steak idea) ;-)

ive had this version since christmas, and we love it! use it pretty much every day, and i prefer the tray to the basket because it’s not as much bulk to clean up. i have a SUPER tiny kitchen and it somehow doesn’t look obnoxious on the counter, which is why i stayed away from those weird egg shaped ones. every inch counts! and the window feature takes it to the next level. overall i am super happy with it (and my mother in law bought the same one after staying here and using ours, so that’s saying a lot 😂)
edit- for anyone wondering, i can stick a whole chicken in there no problem. i use nili’s “frozen chicken in the instant pot hack” and then roast it a few minutes in the air fryer and it’s AWESOME 🙌

I bought a new airfryer to get rid of the cumbersome grease catching louvers of the basket type to try and clean all the time. I LOVE the take out tray. So easy to clean with less bulk . I also have a window on mine which I LOVE. I can check to see how things are going without having to pull out the basket.

I just got the Gourmia 7 quart from Costco (when it was on sale for $40). I thought by the picture that it was the older type with a basket but it is the same as this one. It has a disk for the bottom that you remove and all the grease goes to the bottom. So far the french fry setting has been tried with two different types of frozen fries. The crinkle cut cooked the best. The thin ones got too crunchy and almost burned. It has a reminder feature which I really like. You can turn it off if you want. You can turn it off, along with the preheat. You get reminded that you have to add food or turn food. I like it. I thought I would find it annoying but I like it because sometimes you walk away while you are cooking and you hear it beep and it reminds you to come back and add the food or turn the food. I did an unboxing, still not edited. I am doing a video on my opinions on the machine but that hasn’t been recorded yet. I really like how brown my food gets.

Hi Nilli , loved your review and all your reviews and recipes. I have purchased several Instant products, namely after you reviewed and used them and have been very satisfied with performance. I admit when I saw this AF unboxing I thought Instant had followed Cosori with a dual heating element design since the shape and size (sans the window) look similar. My guess is it’s only a matter of time before Instant adds this feature which negates flipping halfway…many thanks for sharing

You have the best UA-cam review of this Instant airfryer. You explain its use and the features very clearly and stay on point. I'm watching your video since I have one on order to replace my dead Tristar Power AirFryer Oven. The fan made a grinding noise and stopped working and it's now out of warranty. I picked this Instant airfryer model replacement because it is 1700w vs others @1500w and has the basket style and clear window. The one that died had a rotisserie that required a very small chicken, and cleanup of the interior, shelves and oven door was incredibly hard. (I do not recommend the oven style airfryer!) To clean the basket on this one, do you put it through the dishwasher? Thanks!

It is pretty. I am using my air fryer almost every day. I do Steak from Frozen and when the internal temp is fine I torch it with a butane torch. Works great. The cleaning up is the not so fun work when I use it. I cant imagine how annoying a basket would be to clean. Once I am done cooking, I just fill it with water and let it sit and then it wipes off later. I had bought those air fryer parchment paper inlays but it did not make less of a mess. The window would be a problem. There should be more corners. And if I compare my very dirty oven window... This should be dark fairly soon since there cant be any non stick on the window. Why do we need to see the food? This feels like a way to make people upgrade a perfectly good device with the exact same device + window. I am very curious to see how this fryer window holds up after awhile. It will get a lot of use in your kitchen.

Hi Nili. I just bought the 6 qt. Instant Vortex 4 in 1 air fryer. Love it! Just like yours it has only 1 basket with the inner “tray”. May I ask where you got yours? No stores in my area carry your model. I’m having fun experimenting with it. Today at lunch I reheated the left overs from last night’s dinner out. Everything came out great! I started with the reheat button, but after a few mins in I switched to air fry. Everything was so crispy & delicious. I think that the presets are kind of like the, ones on the Instant Pot. Totally unnecessary.

    1. Is there a way to pop off or unscrew the front window assembly?
    2. Given the color of light bulb & window..... Is one TRULY able to discern proper color of the food to see if it's golden, etc? Because that's the only reason I can think of to peek in.

I just bought the Instant Vortex 5 quart air fryer with clear cook. I have not plugged mine up or turned it on yet. I just took it out of the box and set it on my counter. I'm VERY intimidated by it. Every Instant air fryer video I see on You Tube has a round knob on the panel and is a 6 quart. My panel is completely flat with no knob and is a 5 quart. i can't find a video using an Instant Vortex 5 quart air fryer
with a flat panel like my model. Now I'm scared to try and use it. I am a absolute newbie and I know absolutely NOTHING about air frying. The booklet that came with mine doesn't give a whole lot of info. Also, how do I know what temp and how long to cook something? I can find air fryer recipes all day long but each different air fryer probably uses different temps and cook times for the same recipe. Can you help me?????

The Instant company needs to be a little more creative in its naming. I'm expecting some confusion with my 10 qt Instant Vortex Plus Air Fryer Oven (grrrr..).
