Great video and timely. Working on both a C1 and C2 build using the Tamiya F350. The mounts were a question and you answered it! But so many other good nuggets in here. Much appreciated. I'm down in St Louis. Heard about Crawler Canyon. Its on the list to visit!!
Power shift Rc makes a winch called the road runner. You can get it with the winch controller built in to the case. It’s direct power and super fast with more than enough power.
Thank you Vance! Once of my favorites for sure. I was debating on what to do next on that rig. I'm thinking a set of high clearance links from Hardcore RC.
What a great breakdown video Jay I was wondering when you where gonna finish it 👏 thank you so much for showing off your trucks man I really thought your 350 rig was brushless but they are all awesome rigs especially in your other vids showing off your skills do you run oil in the desert lizard shocks or just spring they do look buttery smooth too also thats sweet that crawler canyon does hobby classes for builds thanks agian for the great content & have a happy Easter bud keep up the great vids 👍
After a Google search I'd sure like to. It's a 2hr 30min drive from me. When I get the mustang out of shop I may have to burn over there. Our shop here don't have neer the setup . I've been wanting a marlin and after seeing all your trucks I'm a bit jealous.
That’s a haul for sure but we’ll worth the time. We usually make a day trip out of it because there is a lot to cover. Marlin is a great choice! Keep me posted on what you get!
Will do . I don't have any rc4wd but do have ax10 scorpion with warthog body. A scx10ii rtr another axial based scratch build cheater rig & axial ryft. Trx4 bronco basically aluminum lol Redcat axe scout ii an ascender blazer kit a barrage modified like my 1:1 and several go fasts too. Need a vs410 phoenix & marlin tobround things out
Do you happen to know brand and size of the shocks you are running on the SCX!0iii? Thanks in advance. I've got a similar set up but haven't found shocks that I like
Your too nice, I only aspire to be that great in both content creation and building RC crawlers. SBG and HD are 2 of my personal favs. I watch every Wednesday. Did you see the comp they attended recently? Great videos and I would have loved to see some of those builds.
hmm... there are so many unecessary weight on your rigs. when i was getting back into the rc crawling scene in 2017, I too was hooked by the bling... since then lesson learnt, i have removed all the dead weight on my chassis, no more c-channels or alloy shock towers and specially no brass shit on the chassis itself, it's just unecessary and does not add any performance gains. Anyways, I bet your scx10.2 with stock everything, only the rear shock angle mod, a set of really good tires/foams and wheels, a lexan pickup body, and good electronics (like your crawlmaster expert but 12T with 1080 esc) would beat all your other rigs. Your generic carbon fiber body... that is made in china, it cost about $14 here in our side of the globe.
Vlozity as I get more educated, I find your correct as well. I have recently purchased a GSpeed V3, Vadder Skid, and a 1080/Crawlmaster 16T. I'm stuck at selecting the right transmission, not sure if I stay 3 gear or go 2 low TGH. Any thoughts here? Also, axles, I'm thinking AR44 straight axles for this build, any advice on axles would be good too. Thanks for watching and spending the time to reply.
@@jaysrcs 2.low are good, but you better read up on what motors work best. I don't own one but heared many stories about fitments.issues. On my class 1 rig, fmm is the way to go. On class 2, you have a lot of options like 2.low which gives you overdrive/underdrive gears. I have a Vanquish 3 gear on my class 2 with F9 portals, od/ud can be installed on the axles. For straight axles, ar44's is a good choice, if you can get the axles that came with the SCX10.2 kit version (that do not have the c-hubs built-in) that would be better. You may also want to consider purchase of the SSD diamond axle housing, they are tougher than stock axial, and because the pumpkin is made of delrin they slide way better on the rocks. Hth... Enjoy the builds, look forward to the new build
We’ll I’m gonna start on a tf2 Mojave hardbody, it’s gonna go on my oldest least run rig, my axial 10.1. All your content is going to make for great reference, hope to see you at kk sooner than later and share a trail run. 🛻🪨🌲🌳
For sure!! With fall approaching we will be out more. The OG 10.1 is a great platform! Check out KKs Facebook group too. There is a few of them but they are always posting events and get togethers. Hope to see you on the trail soon!
What bunch of awesome hard bodies! Great video! Love seeing what other people are building! And how!! 👍🤩💯
Thank you for watching! Appreciate it!

Hey Jeff! Yes we like to go as much as we can. Good people and facility at CC.

Also, nice rigs!!!
Andrew thanks much!! I will check it out for sure. Appreciate the watch and comment to help me out!

Happy Easter! I run 35wt in 6lbs trucks and 60wt in 7lbs+ trucks. I tend to like brushed myself.
Needs some 1.55 wheels and tires for the white truck. Looks like a monster truck with those current tires.
What do you recommend?
923!
i like the moto numbers dude!
Yeah buddy!
Great video, you've got some amazing trucks there, look great. Subscribed. 👍😎👍

Nice rigs . Can i know the amazon body mount do you use?

is the bed of the class 2 truck just attached to the cab and the cab is mounted?
Hi Patrick, your correct. On both Class 2 trucks I just mount the bed to the cab. Much easier to take on and off.
Great video new subscriber here for you love your rigs m8 im going to do a mojave build look awesome 👌
Thanks for the sub! Good luck with your build!
Performance wise for a class 1. Do you prefer the Dravtechs or Dessert Lizard shocks?
I prefer Dravtechs for Class 1.
Did you paint the locked up rc beadlocks on the white yota?
No you can order different colors from Vanquish
Thanks. Very nice rigs. The white 1st gen yota is motivating.
U from Chicago?
👍
@@jaysrcs I meant u live in Chicago? I’m in Northwest Indiana not far
Up by Wisconsin boarder. About 2 hours from you.

Which one is for sales? That white one is 🤌🏻
Appreciate that! I’ve built something since this one so I’m getting ready to do a video on that. Another 11.3 wheelbase shooting for class scale.
