Excellent profiling of this wonderfully looking scaler and its pilot/builder! This rig, with an obviously skilled driver, is an amazing performer. It proves that most vehicles are far more capable than the (typical) driver, 1:1 as well as RC.
Nice build. I love my basecamp, I just ordered 2nd gen taco body from proline with scale trim from proline. Should be a looker I hope when it’s completed 😁
Nice Crawling footage. I’m thinking of turning my TRX Sport into a custom rig with new frame rails then build from there. It’s a very appealing platform because there’s so many parts & bodies for it. That’s what’s nice about getting a base model vs a Fully loaded RTR for over$500. Your still not going to get what you want so a kit or base model is nice especially the base models because you can run them & upgrade as you go. Any chance you’ll be going to Proline By The Fire I though maybe you had the camping video for a reason.
I just got my Basecamp, but it is already modded. It's a Toyota cab with a cage and small flat bed in the back. I just installed a new 1800kv Fusion SE w/stock pinion for now. Looking for the appropriate ESC...
Wich tires are these? The normal 1.9 Canyon Trail? Want to biuld the same body on a different Chassis and searching for the right size tire and these look fire on it
I'm about ready to pull the trigger on the Injora 313 1/10 scale crawler, SCX10 Style. And was wondering if anyone knows if the Hobbywing Quicrun Fusion Pro will fit. It is the motor/ESC combo of my dreams.
It should fit just fine. The Pro is much shorter than the old Fusion. I believe it’s the same length as a standard 540. I have the Pro in a trx4 Sport and it really is amazing! I did gear way down with the pinion and spur because I was more after torque than speed. It was too fast on stock gearing for me. Still had nice slow speed control though.
Great seeing Base Camp builds , so hard trying to decide on a body swap ,this one is Great !
Hi There! In this video I can appreciate the dual foam tires. The progression of squeezing tire is very visible. Ciao!
I honestly think that the basecamp is the best rtr rig out there currently to build off of! Mine is getting a comp wagon body this week!

Nice truck.
That is a good looking rig
thank you
can you please do another video about this rig in more detail about the car
Wow, impressive. I like you voice over vids. Thx.
First off it was a pleasure to meet you yesterday at linda vista. Where was this video done at. Great crawling!
It was at the benches near the playground
Was the creek that threw me off. I've been meaning to try some of those hill climbs around that area myself
This looks awesome. I'm new to the hobby. How do you attach the hard body, and how do you access the chassis to replace the battery.
Hi guys! I'm building the Team raffee cherokee body for my base camp as well! I'd need some direction for those sliders please! cheeers!
I wish Alial or one of the other big companies would come out with a completive comp 2 crawler RTR.
The inline 6 motors in those 1 to 1 Cherokees are known to last forever lol
Sweet offroad car, without torque twist, what is the front bumper? 👍🤩
