Full AFK Osseous Guide - 35+ kills/hr with t90 weapons

- Runescape 3 Osseous AFK guide. Kill the new necromancy boss while AFK! Osseus drops the occultist’s ring, one of the best necromancy rings in the game, and jail cell keys which sell for tons of gp.
In this guide I'll go through 3 methods for different levels of players:
0:00 intro+quest
0:30 jail cell keys
0:50 gear, perks, and relic setup
2:30 action bar
2:55 prayers, incantations, familiars, and inventory
4:00 full afk method
7:10 mid/high-level method (no t95 armor)
8:35 low-level method (no soul split)

Necromancy Setup:
Gear: First necromancer robe set with t90 deathdealer gloves (crystal shield 4, absorbative 4, impatient 4, crackling 4 undead slayer), t90 death guard and skull lantern (precise 2 aftershock4, eruptive 4 ruthless 3)- upgrade to t95 if possible, igneous kal-mor, salve amulet €, occultist’s ring, deathwarden nexus (filled with all necromancy runes and ectoplasm), scripture of wen
Inventory: Potion reservoir, elder overload salves, penance powder, magic notepaper, holy wrench, spring cleaner 9001, super restore, binding contract (ripper demon)
Auras: Equilibrium
Necromancy Incantation: Darkness, less boneshield
Relic: Persistent rage, death ward, conservation of energy
Prayer: Soul split, sorrow
Familiar: Ripper demon (use holy scarab for 100% prayer sustain and ruination, legendary familiar to loot drops, or blood reaver for alternative dps familiar)

Absolutely LOVE that you pointed out your action bar. I’m a returning player and just can’t seem to figure out how to set up ANY action bar for the best DPS and things like that.

very good guide- I am the T90 brigade and the bar works extremely well no deaths- not completely afk as you need to press blood siphon once lol but its perfect for a mid level pvmer with no co-ordination ^^

would wearing both death dealer boots and gloves, increase chance of invoke death or do we need the extra 5% duration
2 pieces fails sometimes when you don't get death mark with the exact setup due to conjure timers. If you use t99 prayer/t95 weapons it might work but I didn't test that
i find it more consistent with res instead of divert, using full t95 set and RoD
so.. with using only t90 armor. I know it sucks and hopefully someone finds a better way, but I found that if I change the boss spawn speed from fastest to fast... that'll give the conjures enough time to despawn before the next kill. Doing that on my iron, I've been able to use bars that were made for t95 armor. The main issue with using t90 armor is that you end up summoning conjures a second time, so this gets around that issue.
That's creative, I like it. Hopefully something faster gets baked over the next few weeks
I feel like this is a very dangerous AFK method. The danger lies mainly in the bite attack that comes after being frozen in fear that you have to attack out of. Half the time the revolution bar triggers divert too early and then the boss just sort of... eats me. Doesn't always have enough boss HP left to let me soul split heal back either.
This is with LotD for drop purposes; I need the keys mang vampyrism aura is my friend
EDIT: man why would we swap out perks like these on t95 necro armor instead of going after the BiS dps stuff? Relentless DOES have a chance to screw this AFK rotation up; death skulls didn't trigger at the right times and I died to the exploding minions w/e that's called. Calling that for the night... imma go learn this boss the normal way...
If you follow the exact setup this method is pretty much 100% safe, but pvme should have a method with regular perks that will work now. I made this the day of release so it's not quite as perfected as some of my other methods, but I did afk all 3 of my keys with it without issue
Farmed him for 4 hours last night. 190 kills. Not a single key or ring drop. My rng is such BS!

you know what's worst? Afk'ed for 1 hr only to find out you've missed 2 jail keys and 2 spear shafts..
I got ring within like 20 kills but it's price is only like 20m now

Yeah it will be tough without zuk cape. I have an easy method for Zuk coming out by next weekend at the latest which should help if you're struggling

i wish exctintion wasnt required for 90% of guides these days as a still somewhat returning player quest wise lol. like yeah just do an entire series start to finish to even qualify haha xd
Yeah that's fair, for this one you can wear a ring of vigour and it should work well still

Right!? 1 in 30!? I'm almost 150 kc without a ring, and only unique has been a cap.
