I Agree 👍 💯%!!! Write Them A Letter With A Copy Of Your Receipt, Your U-Tube Channel And How Many Subscribers You Have Who Now Know Some Of The Poor Craftsmanship Of Their Product. Then When They Fix Everything You Can Put Up A New Video And Hopefully Make Some Quality Control Changes!!! I've Always Wanted An Airstream. It's Going To Feel FANTASTIC SLEEPING AT HOME!!! BATHING IN A REAL SHOWER AND TUB!!! OMG!!! Be Very Careful In Philadelphia, I Don't Even Suggest Stopping At Red Lights In Some Sections (I've actually gone through them before when I've been lost driving to Delaware)!!! New York City Now Also!!! Last Time I Was There Just Before The Pandemic It Was So Dirty And Had Gone Down Hill Sadly. It's Even Worse Now. Wish You Were Driving Through Western Upstate NY And Coming To See Niagara Falls!!! Have Fun, Be Healthy, Safe And Happy 💙💜🩷✨🍂🦃🌻🦌💛!!! Western Upstate NY Here Hello Miss Sadie 🌞🩷
PREACH ON JORDAN!!!!!!!!! Any of us that have built our own rigs could build a better rig than almost any company out there these days. Quality isn't a thing anymore. Love you guys! ❤❤
A friend who retired from the Air Force as a loadmaster on C-5's, worked briefly afterwards at a Airstream deadlership, they were junk, accordding to him. I scrapped out an older model once that had been crushed by a snowslide (I wanted the frame and axles) and I was astonded to see regualr carbon steel bolts, securing the aluminum bottom plate of the wall structure, with NO protection from dissimilar metal corrosion, which was already advanced.
What a cute family that found the coffee. I love watching the excitement on the faces of those who find the coffee! Jordan, Kaylee, and Sadie, we know that you are so worn out and looking forward to the end of this journey. I just want to let you know how much we have all enjoyed this and all of your hard work!!! You three are amazing! ❤️
As an RV "Full-timer", I have found the more one pulls, lives in (or other-wise uses) an RV, the more it looks, feels, smells acts like a used RV... because it is. Your Air-stream has carried you guys this far... so you have to decide if the up keep is worth it; otherwise, sell the RV and live out of motels while on the road. With fuel prices as they are, you guys aren't breaking even in comparison. As an aside, your tow vehicle deserves and has earned every service that is due to be performed! Its been a trooper up-til-now! Safe Travels & Best Wishes!
It' should be airstream priority to build a quality trailer first off. There is no excuse for a shotty build. The money they charge is pretty high considering how shotty they are. It's very important for folks to be shown the issues too. Just because a person has the money dosent mean they don't deserve quality.😅
Because of you guys my husband and I almost bought an airstream. We looked at them at the dealership and we’re pretty shocked at their price. We decided to keep our A class RV. It is sad that they are selling these trailers based on the reputation of the brand and not backing it up with the workmanship and quality that is expected. This video is very helpful, thanks for putting it out there and letting people know so they can be educated customers. Continued safe travels guys! I love your journey and your coffee!
I’ve owned several Rv’s over the past 30 years. One thing you need to understand Jordan is that your rv is going through an earthquake every time you pull it down the highway. Things are going to come loose and break. It’s just part of owning an Rv. Screws will come loose, you have to tighten them back up periodically. Vaseline on the toilet seal once a month helps preserve the seal. I could go on and on. Love watching and living vicariously through you guys! Safe travels!!
I don’t know why, but that finding of the coffee made me cry. Maybe because it’s one of the last we’ll ever see. So special what you’ve done in so many lives along the way. We’ll all go through Jordan, Kaylee, Sadie withdrawals in just a few days, but I soooo want you guys to get home, except you can’t go home right now, can you? Weren’t you supposed to fly out on the 20 something of November? So sad for you, but happy you’ll get to spend Thanksgiving with your families and have extra time to hang with parents & other family. So much love & gratitude for what you’ve shared. From Oregon ♥️🙏🏼 Jessica
I get a bit teary-eyed when fans have found the coffee that you have so lovingly hidden in each state, thoroughly loved watching this series of videos and all of your videos...❤
Kudos to all your followers in West Virginia! I drove over 2 hours and there were several people there who are all disappointed to find out we had all missed the coffee. Shout out to the couple in the truck camper who saved me a very muddy and wet and cold walk to the spot. Considering I have left in such a hurry that I didn't even grab my boots
We have.a PB Airstream. Here’s the deal, the 19’s, 20’s, and 21’s have lots of quality control issues. That was during the pandemic and supply was just awful (Not just Airstream) Then in 2022 things were back to normal. I would also suggest “Keep your Daydream” UA-cam channel, they maintain their rig a lot, but that is just part of the RV game. I wouldn’t suggest not buying an Airstream. This is our 2nd actually and we love it.
Sorry about your troubles. We have had 2 new Airstreams. 2017 International 23D and our current Airstream a 2019 Flying Cloud 25' Rear Bed Twin. My rule is to keep things simple. That is why we have a Flying Cloud. No power awning. Not a bunch of fancy electrical crap. No solar. No tankless water heater. K.I.S.S. We have over 500 nights in our 2019 FC and have had no surprises. No leaks. Everything works as it should. We plan on using it for the next 20 years. Happy travels.
Good things to know about an airstream. Thank you. Hurray! You are almost done! Many of us have been saying that you three have spoiled us with your daily videos. What an amazing thing you have done. During a really divided time in our country you have brought some of us together. Thank you. 🤗❤️
Having the exact same model airstream I can say they’re not really designed to be heavy duty off-road camping machines. They perform as well as you treat them and as with anything that moves, boats,RVs,planes, etc there really is quite a bit of nonstop maintenance to keep things together and all your systems in top shape.
I have a 1959 that doesn't have that many issues. That thing is poor quality, Airstream is supposed to provide quality road vehicles that Jordan and Kaylee have not done anything it shouldn't be able to handle.
I'd agree normally, however they didn't really off road. Most camping was in paved parking lots. I grew up travelling in a Winnebago, and we never lost power...ever, and we travelled all over North America for a month, every Summer for 10 years. What Jordan and Kaylee experienced, well that's just not normal in a new RV/ trailer.
I remember Jordon saying a few things about this airstream after about month 2 or 3. So these issues didn't just pop up on this trip. I have looked at many airstream because the name ,I mean everyone knows an airstream. Anyway, I took a hard look at the last two and I gotta say that it was made really poorly. I looked at many of the little items Jordon put out and many more. No thank you airstream. For that kind of money it should in fact be made sooo much better.
We have a 2014 30 ft flying cloud, never had any issues . I’m really saddened that you have had so many issues. It’s been truly an adventure you’ve taken us on. Congratulations on the greatest journey on you tube. Love how you blessed so many people with coffee as well as helping others establish their business. Happy Thanksgiving and I’m sure Sadie’s grandparents can’t wait to cuddle that well traveled nomad.
You see some sites advertising older retro trailers that they fix up and renew You end up getting something of value. The biggest red flag of the airstream is the steep price that no one can afford.
Dropped? LOL. They are still building the Panama community and local's there are working daily at a high pay grade. . They just took time off themselves for this awesome adventure. @@flashattack7063
One thing many people don’t understand about Airstreams: all the internal walls, furniture, cabinets, etc are brought into the trailer through the door after the shell/frame are assembled. That accounts for small gaps between walls (especially the round ends) and the interior shell. That’s not an indicator that something is coming apart. Having said that, there are quality issues Airstream needs to address. We have 44K miles on our 2020 Flying Cloud and love it. However anyone who owns an RV and actually uses it needs to know how to use a screwdriver and pliers.
That's fine but the finish trim work could be a lot better and has nothing to do with coming through the door. There's a common theme here...poor quality control on something that's very expensive.
As a lifelong Jersey Girl I speak for all of NJ when I say, “You 3 have been through enough and more than deserve to go spend time with family in MA. So for NJ just fling the coffee out your moving airstream and we will happily find it!” What an epic undertaking.
My Uncle bought an Airstream in 1969. In 1987 it was pulled to Colorado where it was used for a hunting camper for the next 20 years til 10 feet of snow caved the roof in. It was in great shape the day the snow caved it in. They just don't make ANYTHING like they used to!!
This is the first time I've heard bad things about airstreams. You get better gas mileage with airstreams I know that to be a fact. I hope they will fix all the things that are wrong with it it should be under warranty I sure have enjoyed y'all's trips.
Georgia winners, SO cute! I'm so glad that you are almost done, for your sake. This journey has been fun for us and mostly for you but the three of you need a break, enjoy your time with your families.
Jordan, it's so great of you to give RV feedback as I'm sure many people will appreciate your honest overview of the Airstream. I'm still loving the trip, although I'm sure you, Kaylee and Sadie are exhausted. Safe travels and not far to travel before you go home!! Well done to the Georgia winners👍
You guys should’ve asked Josh to take a look at your electrical in the airstream! I’m so sorry the airstream has been such a disappointment. Time to fly back to Lola’s Farm soon!! 🙌🏻❤️ Edit: Sell the airstream and truck and buy a van from Trent and Allie!! 😊✨
Not sure Trent and Allie are still building out vans. There hasn't been a mention on their website for months. I get the feeling that they may have called it quits.
@@mango8918 Now that you mention it, they haven't been highlighting mountain made vans. Their website is still up and there appears to be a van for sale. Perhaps most people did not find the content interesting so they just aren't putting it in their videos.
Welcome to the Airstream problems. I'm full-time and have been living in my Carval 2023 Airstream for a year. You have to be pretty handy to live in an RV. My Airstream had a lot of electrical problems. The converter wasn't wired right, so the solar panels weren't charging the batteries. I recently just upgraded the electrical, so now I can be fully off-grid. Craftsmanship is thus of a high school student. Seriously, I had to hire my neighbor to help me remove and upgrade the cabinets because, as you said, there is gapping, and trims are coming off so easily. I've had my fair share of helping my neighbor fixing other people's RVs this winter, and mine was the only one that didn't freeze up. With the summer heat, I've been able to stay cool luckily. As my tow driver and I were talking about, you are now just paying for the name on the RV. Airstream has sadly gone downhill in a lot of things. I highly recommend you do upgrades, but mind you, they aren't cheap or sell the Airstream as is.
Warranty, warranty, warranty… When we bought our rv it was said that most rv’s spend much of its first two years in the shop… take it in and get everything fixed!
Loving your journey. We were actually on the road with our PB Airstream when you were out west. We hoped to run into you guys… but had to come home for a family emergency. Hey, we had many of the same issues including our stairs. As some had mentioned these are warranty issues. Make an appointment with your dealer and drop her off and say that you are going back to Panama and will pick her back up when you return. This gives them plenty of time to get the needed parts and time to bring her back to snuff. Br safe out there.
I hate that people just accept that a brand new expensive RV should expect it to not really be usable for a few years. That is a terrible thing to accept. You can provide a list of issues, and the fixes are usually just as bad of workmanship as the original and the rig is in the shop for months. Then you go back, inspect the fixes, reject them cause they are crap, and they keep it months longer. Should be a class action lawsuit against all these dealers and manufacturers.
I can relate to the sound of the diesel engines from Semi's putting you to sleep. Did many cross country road trips in the family station wagon and later truck camper in the 70's and 80's. Followed by many more years of travel as a military spouse. Have slept at countless truck stops and rest areas. Loved the steady noise of the engines. And the smell of diesel exhaust ALWAYS takes me back to those wonderful memories.
In 2021 we bought a brand new 30’ Classic. It looked incredible. Our first trip out of state, the sink separated from the countertop and caused water leaks. We had to cut our trip short a week. No off-roads, all paved roads and highways. This was just the beginning of a 12 month period of constant problems. It was at the dealership for repairs more than we used it. After a year of this, we sold it back to our dealer. Airstream quality was horrible on our model. And the dealership was very poor, too. I hope we got a lemon…. or maybe they were not producing quality RVs during the pandemic. But our plans to have this RV long term was not to be. For what we paid for a brand new Classic and new 4x4 truck… we decided we could stay in a whole lot of 5 star resorts or rent homes for vacations compared to owning a poorly built Airstream that had to be repaired by the dealer every other month. If we do buy another RV, it won’t be an Airstream.
You all are really getting tired, but we are so happy to see your travels. It will be a relief for you when it ends, but so sad for us. Thank you so much for making this journey for us! The Georgia family that found the coffee was so cute, great to see them find it!
You were the first UA-camrs I ever watched back in South America. Always changing things up. I’m so gonna miss this series. You’re really good at making series!
I want the three of you to know that I have truly enjoyed watching you every day on this trip. I'm going to miss not seeing Sadie every day the most. She reminds me of when my granddaughter was that age and she's 21 now. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings and I pray that you will be able to get back to Panama safely. I have watched Trent and Allie and Josh and Erin since they all started on You Tube and it's so nice to see all my people reconnecting through your adventure.
This is EXACTLY the reason we sold our 2020 30' Classic. We had pretty much the same issues and for that price you'd expect quality but the only thing we saw was the lack of quality control.
Yes screws and things come loose at times, so we just keep an eye on everything. The bathroom sconce is easily replaced. Airstream will send you one. Common minor issues and the sail switch needs to be replaced. We had the same issue and it’s not really dirty, just broken
This is been an epic trip for little Sadie. You have to do it at least when she is 8-10 years so she will remember it. You guys are the bomb as parents. You were made for it. I just love your channel, One day I will become a member. I absolutely love that Sadie is bilingual and so intelligent at 2 yrs old. She is so sweet. KUDOS to all 3 of you!!!
Thank you for your honesty about your Airstream. I bought a 2023 non-airstream but still higher end travel trailer to live in full time, and the build quality has not been good at all. It's been problem after problem, shotty craftsmanship all around and after seeing this I realize this just looks to be the normal even for the higher end. Sorry to hear the airstream hasn't been what you wanted, and I hope they see this!
But on a positive note, it is been an honour watching you travel from afar. You have a beautiful family, and I just hope you can get home safely to Panama to your family there as well. Travel safe ❤
We have been enjoying your cross country journey. We live in NJ and enjoy traveling in our motorhome. We have watched your channel from the very beginning. When you were in DE and said you needed water and to dump, we looked at each other and said, “ we know where they are going!!” That rest stop is the one we use on the home bound leg of so many journeys south. We love you, Jordan and Kaylee and Sweet Sweet Sadie. You have brought us so much joy!
I appreciate the Airstream review, sadly this is a problem in the entire RV industry, they are struggling to keep prices down in a shrinking market, buy pushing a handful of worker to work harder and faster. with quality suffering for it.
Prices have sky rocketed the past 5 years and quality has sank to 0. Having been owners of several different brands of older RV’s, we have NEVER had the problems with older used models that folks buying the new and paying the price of a farm in Texas for it are having. Honestly have known many who didn’t get 50 miles from the place of purchase before having numerous problems!! That’s despicable!! Myself I would prefer to buy an older and restore and have a much better quality, and still have thousands in my pocket to enjoy my RV.
That is true but Airstreams are very expensive and as Jordan says, they base their super high prices on the good will they created years ago by building quality trailers. That is obviously not the case now, this new trailer has had a lot of problems starting with the electric system, the toilet and more..Just not acceptable.
Airstreams are built in Jackson center Ohio. I live about an hour from there. The quality was better, before the pandemic, but now, all the factories are struggling to get any help, let alone good quality, loyal help.
I find it hard to believe, that Airstream hasn’t heard of your plight and came to your aid while on the road. We’ve longed for an airstream over the years, but have heard there have been issues. Now, thru your adventure, we see it up close and personal. Great series, get home safe. We love you guys.
RV Warranties are there, but the reality is that they are not the same level as what you might expect with cars. Then there's the logistics of getting to an authorized repair place, but once you get it in for evaluation, the parts to replace will take months, on top of whether you can trust any given repair place has competent staff (see manufacturing process problems). It's laughable. If you're really going to full time it, you have to be willing to DIY a lot.
My first home was a 1959 26 ft Airstream. It had no issues even at 20 years old when I bought it. I reached out to Airstream and told them they should contact with you because of the issues you are having. I sure hope they do. As I told them, it's mud on their face if they don't. There are no excuses for the quality of the Airstream to be that bad. I know you paid a high price for that thing as even now mine is valued at more than I paid for it in 79. Hope they contact you.
U should have to contact them. The shit should not happen in the first place. I have purchased many new cars and driven many miles and shit dont fall off, electric systems work fine. Its just the RV industry sucks
Hey guy's you're almost done! Jordan I've heard those same complaints from so many different rv owners and the warranty process is horrible. Glad you enjoyed your visit with Josh and Erin..
This was the most epic 48 state road trip I've ever seen. Good work guys. Now get back to Lola and Rodger and Rodrigo and Freddie and the goats and the dogs. Who else am I forgetting...lol
The pandemic killed camper quality almost across the board, right when they were selling the fastest, with one exception from my reading and UA-cam watching. It seems that Oliver is the best at the moment. There are others, mostly fiberglass for some reason, but not Airstream. They may stand behind their product and go thru it for you, now that sales have tapered off, if you have the time for that. We were fortunate to have bought our latest camper in 2019 and will keep it a while. Montana is my favorite state for traveling, less traffic and they have dump stations and allow "camping" or overnighting in their rest areas, and they have individual complete bathrooms in them. Other western states are good also, but Montana stands out in my mind after being there three times. Going to the Sun Road is a major highlight in the summer during the time it is free of snow.
These guys are completely right. I bought a new airstream in 2020 and agree with many of these issues. Theirs seems to be a total lemon but I’ve had a lot of similar issues with mine.
It is truly disappointing to hear that the Airstream name doesn't mean what it used to mean. At one time the name truly did mean quality, I guess like everything else that is not so true anymore.
My new 2016 Airstream Classic actually had so many faults; one of them was a safety/fire risk. When you get an Airstream, you're basically buying a project and you have to inspect EVERYTHING. Anything that is not visible and is hidden is usually really poorly done on Airstreams.
Well I'm going to ask the $64,000 question. Have you reached out to Airstream and told them about all of your frustrations? I would imagine that they would make right on it😊 I've loved watching you drag that Airstream across 48 states😊
Fellow rver here. What we need is lemon laws for rvs. They are a spin in the ass but I can’t imagine not having some sort of Rv. I’m considering a custom build out, the quality is much better.
I Loved Watching You Guys travel the states so much but understood the pain and that I am SOO sad that this trip took a toll on you and that you guys are "over it", but I understand and will miss you...
I totally agree with your views on Airstream. Any of them I've seen are older models with real craftsmanship and care for detail. The new ones look like they're slapped together. On another note. Has anyone found the coffee in Sedona?? Haven't seen a picture or post?? Love you guys and your journey!!
Hi! We have a pottery barn airstream too! You’re exactly right we bought it for the quality. Our wiring was the was the same way. I know because before we hit the road, I opened the hidden areas up. A found an unexcuseable mess. I TOOK IT BACK AND HAD THEM FIX IT, but they only fixed one area. The other they left. We have shorts there. We are diyers too and shame on them for the lack of quality! Loose screws, yeah, that is an easy fix, but some of them weren’t in straight so they were doing anything. Like holding down the bed! My biggest beef is the quality of construction! The wood is beautiful, but, things like the the faucets, lighting fixtures, handles, latches very poor. Pottery barn should have also made sure their quality was better. Shame on them! We took all the pottery barn extras out of our Rv and kept it at the house. Ceramic plates in a locomotive…really! Oh I could go on! Airstream….shame on you! But maybe it’s Thule that’s ruining the company. Someone needs to wake up and smell the roses. you guys aren’t composting though, traveling that fast. We love our compost toilet. Considering taking out the commode all together! Some of the other tricks and changes we have made have helped. And ps, we’ve gotten your coffee and lovvve it! Wish we had found one or all you had hidden.
Aweee!! So I definitely got all kinds of teary eyed seeing the Georgia family find that coffee together!!! How ironic that it was a beautiful mom, dad and their precious daughter who found it!!! Love that so much!! Anyways, Jordan and Kaylee I am still in awe of your drive and determination to not only complete every journey you set out on. But also that you do it with such grace, love and happiness!! I wish so badly I could meet you guys and sit for a cup of coffee together!!! Of course one that Jordan brews bc he's the master!! 😂 But really though, I hope one day I can make it from North Carolina to Vermont and that I'll get lucky enough that you guys might be at your coffee shop so I can shake your hands and hug your necks bc you guys bring so much joy to so many of us!!! Here's to you and your beautiful family ending an incredible journey around the US and I hope y'all have a very Happy Thanksgiving at HOME with your family!! Much love and safe travels!!! ❤🦃❤
Sorry to hear about your troubles. We are on our second Airstream. We upgraded our original 1976 version. Have had lots of RV's (new and used) our we have been most in love with our newer AS. It's a 2010, 25' Flying Cloud. As with anything, there are a few bumps along the way. Thanks for sharing!
Airstream WILL take responsibility for what needs to be reworked! Our experience with the Jackson Center Ohio Airstream Service Center has been top notch. Please make an honest and concerted effort to reach out to them! They will walk through the rig with you and fix each and every area that needs attention!
We love our Globe Trotter model. Quality craftsmanship all around. We looked ours over top to bottom, windows, doors, bed, sinks, checked the drain, lights etc. It took us all day, at the end, we wouldn't buy anything else or go anywhere else for service but Jackson. Even though we live in California, we got a great deal here. The lobby is worth seeing by itself. Dave gave us our tour. Love this place. Do your homework before you buy one.
Love your channel and have for years. As a RV Owner and member of many forums I agree with you and at the same time we must never forget these units are moving houses. Any house put to the road and movement will have issues of screws getting loose and trim getting tugged and coming off. Dust, rain, wind, again movements all put a strain on the box we travel in. Lots of $$$ for sure understand and again I agree that lack of good craftsmanship does occur all companies need to do better. So glad you are getting back safe now lets get you home to Lola's Farm. Beautiful Family
just have to say, as you already do beautifully, I have an 8 year old and she’s becoming more like a little woman everyday, the days i would go back to in a milli-second are ages 2-5. They are all special but man are ages 2-5 unique. The little moments of cuddles, the new words, the exploration as they try something new, oh so sweet. every time my daughter wants to cuddle now I soak it in bc i know it’s not going to be forever. I used to rock my little boy in a rocker during naptime and I am so glad I would sometimes rock him his whole nap. He’s 5 and us battling Leukemia and I would give anything to go back and see him from newborn age to 2 years old again as he was fresh and new. I just can’t say enough, to all the parents out there just soak it into every cell of your body. the future can be grim and scary sometimes and hold trials.
When we travelled throughout the States we found that most Love’s truck stops have dump stations and water fills. Oh, just saw you found one at the rest stop. I was going to mention rest stops next. Have fun you kids....
I really hate that I couldn't find the coffee but I have enjoyed your adventures. Thank you so much for sharing them with the world. Peace and love to you all!
I am so sorry you are having troubles with your airstream, I hope they get wind and make things right. Airstreams are not cheap. I have been watching your journey, and today I was jumping up and down seeing the signs on the highway, I was ready to run out of my office today to find the hidden coffee in NJ ..... LOL ,,,. it would have been perfect, I was wearing The Roastery t-shirt today, my co-workers think I am nuts, but they are willing to join in and help find. I am, after all, the one who keeps everyone caffeinated at work. 😀 Love you guys! LOVE YOUR COFFEE!!!
So sad about the Airstream. But on a better note, it's going to be so nice to be able to spend Thanksgiving with family. Thanks for sharing. Love ya Nancy PS can't wait to see where you hide the Massachusetts coffee wish I could get the day off of work to go and get it or have a chance to get it. I'm happy for whoever finds it though❤
Thanks for the feedback on the Airstream, I was look at making a purchase but not so much now. I hope they reach out and rectify the issues you mentioned. Considering what they cost, I would hope they do this for you guys and others having the same issues.
I am an airstream owner, and compared to our Jayco it has been a more solid unit. I think the stuff airstream builds is better quality, but any of the components that are standard seem to be the stuff that has issues.
This matches my experience with my Flying Cloud. The control system for the fridge died, and many of my cabinet screws have backed out like yours. Cost too much for what you pay, and their support for it is only three years.
You've got the shell...make it the way you want it. Remember, having your truck to disconnect and go where you can't fit a bus, is important. I so enjoy watching you all. Thanks for sharing yourselves with us.
Why did you never visit the Airstream headquarters to let them in on your complaints. I guess they would love to help you out with all issues. Since you might be currently their best promotor. Until today’s episode….. I just loved your trip! Greetings from Rens from the Netherlands. 🙏🏻
Forgot to add, even with all the shortcoming's our airstream has, we love it! . You’re right, we love it! Glad we own it! Compost toilet is a Trevino! Love love love!
That girl has an amazing stride when she runs, run Sadie Run!!!!❤I used to yell, in a songy way. ‘LONG DISTANCE RUNNERS…” when I’d take the tod’s and preschoolers running routinely, ~decades later many still are long distant runners. Early encouragement matters, and you are the best at cheering on Sadie!!!❤Sorry for the bummer Airstream. Hope you finish with ease and grace, I know you will. You got this!❤
That advice about the Airstream is so helpful thanks 🙏 - literally sitting with the cash in hand and they were too arrogant to answer questions. if you two had said - Awesome 👏- I would have purchased one. Not now - you saved me. Thanks 🙏 The power of social media - can do great things - real reviews are crucial when the price tag is over 20k.
Dang is there any warranty on that thing? Or can you at least get some kind of partial refund? That just sucks! Glad you guys are almost done! I'm rooting for ya! I've been watching since day 1! Love you guys❤
I'm going to be a little sad when your trip is over. It's been so fun watching you travel through our beautiful country and seeing all your viewers find their coffee with so much joy!
So sad that once upon a time, everything was made w/quality in mind. Now, one pays just for brand name, which these days means nothing... at least to me.
Well it was sooooo completely utterly stupid to buy a $200,000 RV especially without an engine to drive it. Only a reasonable person to afford that has over 5-10 million in their bank account. All anyone ever saids owning an RV are the complications they have. I'll never buy one!! Only camper vans and sprinters are the way to go!!! I lived in a camper van for 8 years and owned it for 12. I've heard every story regarding RVs.
So very sorry your Airstream is a real Lemon. Congratulations, you made it through without one trip to an Airstream fix-it shop!!! Your attitude and ability to put the ugly in the back of your thoughts and give so much to the journey is pure magnificent. Thank you so very much.
I'm in agreement with you Jordan - those COVID RV's (built during the pandemic) are bad! I am so thrilled you guys are almost to your home state... and selfishly sad that these daily videos (albeit difficult on your part to make) are going to end. We had JUST missed you guys at the Stowe store as you left for this adventure the day before we arrived. You have a great crew, great family and I LOVE your vibe! Keep on keepin' on you guys! Much love from OH (home of the Airstream Mfg Co). Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! We all have so much to be grateful for!
You are 100% right to hold Airstream accountable. They need to make it right.
They got paid. They do not care.

Hello Miss Sadie 🌞🩷
Absolutely 💯
I'd claim the "LEMON LAW." are you aware of this law?
@beverlyt.5526
Yes Philly is an open drug den. That fentynal is everywhere. Scary dirty. There's UA-cam videos about this.
I hope someone associated with Airstream sees this and gets in touch with you! Enjoying watching your trip❤
And, another UA-camr had terrible issues with the airstream trailer too.... quality counts! Safety too😊
When they got they said it was a collab with them airstream and pottery barn, u really think they paid full price ??
Why can't they do that on their own?
PREACH ON JORDAN!!!!!!!!! Any of us that have built our own rigs could build a better rig than almost any company out there these days. Quality isn't a thing anymore. Love you guys! ❤❤
The price is a thing now , quality goes down & price goes up . Sad
Yes
Especially for such prices.
I absolutely love seeing the people find the hidden coffee. It makes me so happy to see them so happy!
Absolutely the best part of these daily videos & seeing Kaylees beautiful face !!!!!!
You need to make a final video of just all the people finding the coffee.
@@robertking9450yes, that will be so fun to watch. No rush, Jordan!!
I get choked up for my Nomadic family when they find the coffee
As an RV "Full-timer", I have found the more one pulls, lives in (or other-wise uses) an RV, the more it looks, feels, smells acts like a used RV... because it is. Your Air-stream has carried you guys this far... so you have to decide if the up keep is worth it; otherwise, sell the RV and live out of motels while on the road. With fuel prices as they are, you guys aren't breaking even in comparison.
As an aside, your tow vehicle deserves and has earned every service that is due to be performed! Its been a trooper up-til-now!
Safe Travels & Best Wishes!
As a full time rv traveller as well, upkeep and maintenance is one thing, but shoddy workmanship is not acceptable.
@@allanatownsend7065 Exactly that!
I feel like the classic retro Airstreams may be better.
@@AnneCaulder What makes the classic retro Airstreams better?
If you can live with a smaller trailer look at Oliver, we went from a 26 foot airstream to a 23 foot Oliver, quality is much much better!
Thats the problem with revews. They talk good about something when it's new. But once they use it the truth comes out....
True, Oliver rocks!
I hope Airstream makes it right!!! You have a very large following!
If that is the only reason they make it right I pity the ot so well known owners of other Airstreams.
So my mom just found the bag of coffee, she's so excited. It's so awesome lol. Thank you so much, Happy Thanksgiving!!!
Ohhh which one?! Md?
which state?

Congratulations West Virginia that is so awesome. Stay safe, warm/cool, blessings and Happy Thanksgiving.
❤ congratulations to your Mom.
I get a bit teary-eyed when fans have found the coffee that you have so lovingly hidden in each state, thoroughly loved watching this series of videos and all of your videos...❤
Bravo you're almost there, thanks for giving us a grand tour of our country!❤❤❤
I'm hoping someone from Airstream sees this and makes it right with yall. They were all about quality, hopefully again.
❤
Do you think Airstream will do anything?
They done got their money... they don't care
That's not true, Airstream has great service.
@@debdeb62065 then why so menny problems?
Not anymore. Thor bought Airstream, so Airstream customers should now expect Thor quality and Thor service.
That's terrible about the Airstream. Stay strong!! You're almost home!
They perform as well as you treat them and as with anything that moves, boats,RVs,planes, etc there really is quite a bit of nonstop maintenance to keep things together and all your systems in top shape.
but they are $160,000.00 ???? shame on them.
INDEED !!!!! THANK YOU
I have a 1959 that doesn't have that many issues.
So your advice is to not use your $160k RV so much?
You have done more traveling in the last 48 days than most of us full-timers do in a year. Aloha from Quartzite, AZ.
Thats why the trailer is having issues! RV's are made to use on occasions (vacations) not dragging it around the world for months & months!
We have a Scamp. Typical issues do to driving, and standard wear and tear. Do you use your flying cloud often?
Older product = more quality control.
I have a 1959 Land Yacht that doesn't have that many issues!!!! It's insane!
They can be happy and nice but sometimes they are very negative about thing, states, and people.
I do not think That they seem pretty fair all round @@debdeb62065
You see some sites advertising older retro trailers that they fix up and renew You end up getting something of value. The biggest red flag of the airstream is the steep price that no one can afford.
Sorry that the airstream is not matching up to the quality of this channel. You guys ROCK!
This channel used to be about building a self sustaining community in Panama. Quality has definitely dropped, but they still deserve better.
Dropped? LOL. They are still building the Panama community and local's there are working daily at a high pay grade. . They just took time off themselves for this awesome adventure. @@flashattack7063
For sure will miss these daily vlogs and you all have been so upbeat though I’m sure you are exhausted - your fans appreciate all that you do.
I'm going to miss you three on the daily. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thanks for all the fun, you rock!! ✌️

Warranty, warranty, warranty…
When we bought our rv it was said that most rv’s spend much of its first two years in the shop… take it in and get everything fixed!
Sometimes we get hassled over warranties. Why is that?
At the end of the journey, it would be awesome to see a compilation video of all the coffee winners.
Yes screws and things come loose at times, so we just keep an eye on everything. The bathroom sconce is easily replaced. Airstream will send you one. Common minor issues and the sail switch needs to be replaced. We had the same issue and it’s not really dirty, just broken

That rest stop is the one we use on the home bound leg of so many journeys south.
Apparently, they're not like they used to be. I'd grab an older model if I was into traveling again.
They don’t care.
Thanks for sharing your experience with Airstream, they are so expensive and your honest appraisal is appreciated.

And we all know, because we've watched you guys, that you know how to build quality!!!
I just contacted airstream for them, hopefully they will reach out. Kaylee and Jordan haven't had time on this trip.

I got the WV bag of coffee. Thank you so much Sadie,Kaylee, and Jordan. Happy Thanksgiving! Safe travels!
Congrats Mom!
Video? Photo?
@@judeskingsbury5549 she sent a video in. I can't wait to see it on a future video!
My husband is from Lakeville-Middleboro area of Massachusetts he now lives in East Tennessee. Sadie is a little trooper for doing this trip.❤
just have to say, as you already do beautifully, I have an 8 year old and she’s becoming more like a little woman everyday, the days i would go back to in a milli-second are ages 2-5.
Depends on use to right?
For sure@@BeanCruisers
This matches my experience with my Flying Cloud. The control system for the fridge died, and many of my cabinet screws have backed out like yours. Cost too much for what you pay, and their support for it is only three years.
You must complain to Air Stream! Or the dealer where you purchase the RV !!! 150 000 dollars is not small change.🎉
188k actually
You've got the shell...make it the way you want it. Remember, having your truck to disconnect and go where you can't fit a bus, is important. I so enjoy watching you all. Thanks for sharing yourselves with us.
It cost them $160,000. At that price they shouldn't have to build anything.
Why did you never visit the Airstream headquarters to let them in on your complaints. I guess they would love to help you out with all issues. Since you might be currently their best promotor. Until today’s episode…..
I just loved your trip!
Greetings from Rens from the Netherlands. 🙏🏻
Have you seen any Airstreams in the Netherlands?
Yes. I spent a weekend in one which was available as a fixed rental on a camping. I think there were 4 or 5 airstreams……
@@RensFeenstra Oh, that is nice. 👍
Forgot to add, even with all the shortcoming's our airstream has, we love it! . You’re right, we love it! Glad we own it! Compost toilet is a Trevino! Love love love!
Please give us the update as soon as airstream reaches out because they should they will
That girl has an amazing stride when she runs, run Sadie Run!!!!❤I used to yell, in a songy way. You got this!❤
I know I'm not the only one to say this, but go to the dealership and get the service department to honor their warranties.
Sorry your investment in an Airstream didn't turn out
Unfortunate right?
Booo Airstream. Probably new management/ownership and accounting focused on bottom line at the expense of quality.
Once Thor bought them, it was all downhill for Airstream. An Oliver trailer would have been a better fit.
So very sorry your Airstream is a real Lemon. Congratulations, you made it through without one trip to an Airstream fix-it shop!!! Your attitude and ability to put the ugly in the back of your thoughts and give so much to the journey is pure magnificent. Thank you so very much.
Happy Thanksgiving to you three!!💖💖💙
I'm in agreement with you Jordan - those COVID RV's (built during the pandemic) are bad!
Things are not built the way it was years ago. They hire people off the street and just staple it in place.
