Tim is such a bold and straightforward person yet in this moment he was so shy and it was just adorable and I love it

I figured this was coming after that way she acted after he thought Tim proposed. I thought this is the way they would end the season. Great scene hot and hilarious.
This whole scene is perfect. He started feeling something before they even kissed. His face when she shared her idea of how they met. He was like, that's hot! The kiss was exactly how it should have been. Them being awkward and cute, and Lucy taking control. Loved that. To me it definitely looked like Tim was just about to take control of that kiss when Tamera walked in. Their reaction is gold! Then his face when he walked out. Oh shit! I really hope we see them in these undercover roles in season 5.

OMG!!!! I have been watching this on literal REPEAT and I just caught Tim saying “I was just about to leave….you know what…NOPE I don’t have anything” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 that was absolute perfection!! He was sooo flustered!!! Not to mention the complete look at the end. Acting at it’s FINEST!!!

I just noticed they were in candle light. Lol, they really went all out for us to have that Chenford scene. 3-5 more seconds of that kiss would have been nice, but the teasing and banter were so good. Lucy played out the awkwardness so well. We barely got any time with them this season, so hopefully next season we get less of Bailey and more of these 2. Tamara’s face at the end said it all. She saw it all over Lucy’s face. And Tim’s face was contemplating walking back through that door lol. Loved it. Also, I loved when Lucy said what all of us were thinking by saying “I’m sorry. Is that it?” Lol she went for it too

I counted that deep kiss; it was exactly 9 seconds and the best 9 seconds of my life. I wish there were more, but they gave the viewers just enough to come back and watch season 5.
Maybe that's why we barely saw them this season. When she became his aid I expected more chenford scenes, but instead, there were more lucy and Nolan scenes, which is funny because Lucy mostly talked about Tim.

The whole Bradford Chen dynamic is my favorite and their antics/shenanigans never get old. Tim’s character is full of depth. Eric Winter does a great job with the role and Chen does the whole awkward but adorable vibe so well.
The little “I can’t” that Lucy says before she kisses him speaks on behalf of all of us that have been waiting for this 😂🥹

I think I’ve watched this scene about 20 times! Everything about it is perfect- the awkwardness, Tim’s face when he’s trying to discuss “the elephant in the room”, his adorable expression after the initial peck on the lips and both of their reactions to the kiss itself! It’s actually my favourite chenford moment including every scene with them as a couple 😂❤

This was the best scene in this episode. We have waited so long for this or something to happen. I mean they could have waited 5 more seconds for her to walk in the door. But when Tim left the expression on his face was priceless. He finally realized how deep his feelings are for her. I knew we were gonna see a chenford moment and would have to wait til the new season to see what happens. These writers aren't dumb, they knew what to give us to make sure we come back to watch season 5 and hopefully we don't have to wait all of season 5 for a hook up! #Chenford❤

Idk booth and bones waited 3 seasons after their first kiss to hook up. And castle made us wait til the end of the season for much more than awkwardness in the workplace for them. Either way I know it will be fantastic the casting and the acting are so on point

So happy this finally happened. They have been getting a lot closer these last couple seasons and he has shared things with Lucy that I'm pretty sure he hasn't shared with Ashley. Particularly about his Dad. This couple is meant to be. They bring out the best in each other. It's awkward because it's real.

I just finished watching Season 4, and I've been in love with Chenford since season 1. This first kiss did not disappoint, and his confusion/realization when he leaves is the icing on top. Can't wait for season 5!

First of all I loved how Lucy tried to drag it out of him to actually say they'd have to kiss. She knew how uncomfortable it was making him and that little bit of torture was hilarious. To me these two could deny their feelings, and put it off as a professional relationship or friendship or brother sister dynamic until that line was crossed. I really hope they don't try and wind this back, or do the stupid cliche story where one of them will go all in on a relationship that isn't working just to prove that just didn't happen.
As much as I hate saying this, I could lowkey see Tim doing this with Ashley because of his past relationship with Isabel (even though it was very unhealthy, I at least understood his reasoning behind staying with Isabel). Lucy is more likely to end her relationship tbh
Let's hope they know how to develop Lucy and Tim's long-awaited romance. There's no need to rush things, because their relationship has always been a slow-burn, but it's time for Chris and Ashley to go (everything would be much better without them)

This well worth the wait!!! Tim's face after he left Lucy's said it all, the realization hit him that he is in love with her. It will be interesting to see how these two handled their feelings in season five especially going undercover.
Also, direct shout out to Eric Winter. He has the MOST complicated character and difficult acting job on the show. They all work their tushes off but they gave him so much to work with...I.Love.CHENFORD!!!!
I totally agree. He uses micro expressions a lot to show us how Tim feels and it takes a lot of preparation and energy

So glad they finally kissed! The look on his face when he left said it all. He's been in denial for a long time. I wish we could have seen more of them getting ready/going undercover but I guess that's going to be saved for season 5? I did think their story disappeared abruptly from the episode and just suddenly became all Nolan and Bailey in the desert. No real cliffhanger moment.
The cliffhanger, I hope is the undercover work. After the episode I just felt we needed to go back to the UC operation and whatever Grey has planned for Thorson. Now all the station's TO have moved on. I think Grey has a plan for John even though he is missing the TO test.

What will make this even hotter, if the writers grace us with a continuation of that kiss and even more than that is that Tim is instinctively protective toward Lucy. It's not just the attraction between them. Tim is also a role model for Lucy. The scene where he is critisizing her so harshly when she is holding sthg else with her gun hand is a testament to this, especially since it happened after the death of another rookie. If these two get together it will be a multifaceted relationship. At least it should be one. And that adds to the whole dynamic between these two. And at least they should be together during our lifetime...or the next...we'll wait...lol...

@@lisarm100 the only reason why Tim yelled at Lucy and gave her that look...as if he was 'disgusted' by her lack of judgement when she was holding sthg else with her gun hand is because he was scared sthg bad might happen to her. Another rookie had just been killed. Tim's mind was on that. You know the saying...read the room...well...sometimes we need to read the scene...lol..also one of the joys of acting is to say one thing and mean the opposite. If you look at Tim's eyes and his tone and strength of his voice during this dialogue you'll see he wasn't mad . He was just scared for her. Anyway, that's how I perceived it. Multifaceted means that he sees her as his protege, as his responsibiity , also that he is proud of her, he thinks she is beautiful, so he likes her as a woman and as a person and as a friend and as a his potential lover...the fact that he leaned for a full kiss , a full second kiss is proof of that...

This is the type of scene we don't see anymore, the innocent awkwardness between 2 people expressing feelings for each other, sure this was about their undercover assignment but you could read the undertones pretty clearly. Tim cracked me up with how awkward he was and you could tell that even though he was married before he's not necessarily a ladies man. And it was funny his thinking about how dim and juicy met and I love watching lucy both take charge and play with him, her facial expressions alone were priceless. I wonder how many times they had to practice that scene? The writers and the actors should be praised for how this scene turned out

@@lisarm100 I think just every person on the Rookie's facebook page was saying how bad the episode was lol, aside from the fact that chenford kissed, it was more the disappointment of them not going undercover after the episodes build up, and most of them not knowing that it will hopefully continue in Season 5, cause otherwise I'll be mad too lol

Oh wow, I absolutely loved the kissing scene. It was perfect! Just as I imagined it... straight out of a fanfiction story :) I sooo hope we get to see their undercover op in the first episode of season 5. I'm curious to see how 'Dim and Jucy' will interact with each other and how much this will affect Tim and Lucy after their op is finished. Here's hoping that no one gets shot and has amnesia so they have to start their relationship from scratch again... ;-)

No but for real...while I was very excited to see this kiss, I imagine the start of Season 5 won't be so lovey dovey as people are making it. I mean let's be honest, Tim is a stand up man. He is already in a relationship (whether we like it or not). It would be weird for him to just drop her and then be like, "Yo Lucy, drop your boyfriend and let's get together. It's all about you now!" BUT this kiss is the start of pushing them together 🥰 and I love that
good point, but i HOPE and think, they will do a great job undercover (if we see it and the writers will not cut it out), kiss and so on as the roles, they play... they let the fantasy go (since its a role, right), enjoy the time together as a couple. back in the uniform, both think about that and in few episodes, they come together... hope so...
In all honesty, I can't see Ashley or Lucy's bf (can't remember his name) sticking around much longer. Especially with the BIG realization Tim had here. It's monumental.
Now the question is, how are the writers going to write the boyfriend and Ashley out of the show.
@@lisarm100 i think Tim told Lucy once, he wants kids, and so on,... so maybe, they separate with Ashley because of it... no future... and Lucys boyfriend... i would see it as he will see the chemistry between Lucy and Tim, and back off, tell her, she has her eyes on someone else,... I hope for NO death, since its frustrating and the Tim+Lucy relationship would not develop so intense...

If you watch this scene after the season 2 scene where he finds her burial site, digs her out of the ground, gives her CPR, and then holds her while she cries...the feels!!! It's just perfection.
