This was exactly what I was thinking! Their bond have grown so much. And you can definetly tell that Tim is totally lost in his love for her. Really lovely to see what love can do. They're perfect for each other 😊
I really hope that the writers don’t ever try to split them up. They’ve had one of the best romantic storylines for 5 years now. The writers took their time and slowly made each and every one of us fall in love with Lucy and with Tim, separately and together.
I agree. I am not a friend of too much romantic on movies and series. But i loved both from the start. I like how they evolved and i hoped since season two that they both come together one day. Their story is so well writen.
It was big for me when Lucy was trapped in a room with no one knowing of her situation and Tim was like "When was the last time you heard Chen on the radio?" and ended up saving her again. He's totally aware of Lucy
That's one of my favorite scenes & episodes of Season 5x3. I've rewatched it a couple of times. I wasn't aware the 1st time it was on TV that, at the bottom, it says (a month later). Many of us fans thot we wouldn't c Lucy in the next episode b/c we knew she recruited for specific training in under cover work. I knew it had to be a little bit of time, but she was gone for a month. As roll call begins, the 1st thing that Sgt Grey did was congratulate her, on successfully completely the DEA. Covert Operations Academy. And Sgt Grey adds that this was no small feet. I missed a few things b/c of how the writers or main writer, had Nolan, Jackson & Lucy as Rookies for 3 seasons. Somewhere in the middle of Season, they had their last shift as Rookies expect ,4 Nolan b/c of choices that he & his TO made without going to IA. BUT...in this ep, right at the start, I had also missed the fact, that Thorsen was now a P2 & done being a Rookie & was why he could now be Tim's aid. What struck me as re-watched this ep. is Rosalind Dyer STILL had been caught & arrested again. I'm sure with all that Tim was concerned about, this had to also make him worry. Yes, there's no doubt that Tim suddenly looked really concerned as he 1st asked Thorsen then calls dispatch & has them to a security check on Lucy. It had almost been 3 hrs, &, she was riding solo that day. But as dispatch does a security check, Lucy's unresponsive b/c she's locked where her cuz her radio won't work. Tim was definitely mad, that she was not heard from by that long of time, & that they didn't due a security check earlier, Tim says that's a problem, but we'll deal with that later. For now, give me the address of her last known location. AND Thorsen & Tim find her. If u don't have a streaming service, u can always buy single episodes or whole seasons on YT. It was an EP. I bought, & couldn't believe what I forgot, other than main clips u can see on someone's channel. But I found the whole ep. REALLY informative. Lucy is DEFINITELY smart as Chris had joined some online grp trying to track down Rosalind Dyer. Lucy has nothing else to do, but waits & reluctantly told Chris that she would read what he wanted to. She suddenly reads a comment & Lucy says out loud to herself, this person makes sense. Something to that affect. Suddenly she realizes & remembers that those were the words that Rosalind had said herself. SO...once Tim is able to pry the door open, she said she thinks she knows where Rosalind is. AND says reading this, said, "I think one of them is her." In the end, Lucy & Chris are asked to meet with the FBI. And the team of agents agree with Lucy that this person is Rosalind Dyer, & not some random person trying 2 find her. Chris is horrified. BUT... again it shows her intelligence & Sgt Grey has her come 2 him as the FBI task force hunting down Rosalind, want her to join them, as they've tracked down where she was. AND they did, but it was too late. Rosalind was gone & left a disturbing message & dead victims. It was the following EP. that Rosalind is caught. Nolan can't go thru with what she has asked him 2 do. But clearly had a plan. And her acolyte had shot her in the head so that would be her ending.
I AM LIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALLL THE FEELS AND BUTTERFLIES!!! when they went undercover that was the real them! and then when they found chris like that in lucy's apartment, their bubble burst. But now.. 🥺😫❤ Finally!!!!!
Lucy is the only one who was ever able to get to him. He had such a guard up after the whole Isabel debacle (for obvious reasons) but she got under his skin from day 1 in the best possible way. All of the pranks she pulled on him? There is no way in hell he would've tolerated that from anyone else. She has turned his world upside down and he's smiling so much now and it's beyond adorable. Looking at season 1 Tim and season 5 Tim is like night and day and I'm here for allllll of it!
You've hit the nail on the head with that description! The show is awesome in so many aspects, but I really love Chenford, I'd watch it for them alone.
This slow burn type of love is so great. The progress of their characters and the build up of love is very admirable. Seeing them from day 1 of season 1 til end of season 5, I know for sure it’s worth the wait to see them finally together. Honestly, i’ve never been so engaged this much with this type of drama, but The Rookie hits different. I love everything about it. Can barely wait for the next season❤
Same! I started watching for the first time and I’m now at the end of season 2, so this is a pretty big spoiler. But this time I don’t mind because I wanted to see them together since the beginning ☺️
Season 6 better not break them up because we waited 5 years for them to be a couple. They really took the longest to get together when it was so obvious from the start they had a thing and the chemistry is there ❤❤ I love them so much!!! They better stay together and have babies !!!!
Tim Bradford is a good reminder that things aren’t always as they appear. He had been through a lot & Lucy always factored this in in how she dealt with him. Even when she told him off, she went right back at it the next day. A great life lesson, & I try to keep that in mind when dealing with people who are more difficult outwardly but also struggling internally realizing we’ve all been there at one time or another.
This is such a kind thought! If we only had always the energy to be that level of kind and keep our own stress to ourselves... Anyway trying this definetly helps.

I like that they didn't rush it at the beginning and make it seem forced and instead allowed it to build over time so it feels earned. It's one of the better "will they or won't they" relationships I've seen.

That's actually something I really like about that Show too because it let's them appear more like "real" people who wear things more often than one time and not someone who is wearing Something different every day which is quite unrealistic.
His face at 13:26, when Lucy asked " can you see yourself married to her ", i get the feeling that in that moment, he got a vision of himself married alright, but TO LUCY, 😳😳😳
I love this video 😍 It's amazing seeing how much Tim's attitude towards Lucy has changed. Can't believe the stone cold T.O. from season 1 is the same lovestruck Sargeant from season 5. I can't wait to see them getting married and having kids, just like Angela and Wesley 🥹

@@catrachaV4 I know, she was so loving with the baby. I think it's a baby girl. Obviously not a new born BUT the best when they are a few months old, they're little personalities coming out!!!! AND she took to Lucy immediately!!!!! We know that Tim wants kids!!!!! And said he thought he would've had children by now, but of course b/c of Isabelle that didn't work out. It just seemed more than a coincidence to have her find that baby!!!! AND it surprised Tim & he pretended 2b ok, when Ashley told him that she didn't want kids. I think Ashley didn't even want to ever get married. Blue Bloods after a case & the end of last season Baez whose a detective on that show, who didn't know whether she ever wanted kids fell in love & adopted the baby. She is a single mom. A few shows have been doing this. Chicago PD Kim ended up adopting McKayla, she wasn't a baby. But sweet & had been thru so much. And Ruzek has basically become her Dad. He legally is her guardian if something were to happen to Kim. But I am NOT sure if he can adopt her though her biological father murdered her family & the mother of his baby. It will be interesting to c if the baby has any other biological relatives. We know that the mom bailed.
This isn't an accurate view of Tim from season 1 at all. He was far more multi-dimensional & complex & NOT simply stone cold to Lucy. Lucy literally saved Tim's life her 1st shift!!!! Shooting bk while Tim was shot & pulling him into safety 2 further protect him & calling the radio & again when their shop was shot so that engine would catch fire, & once again she had to pull him out of harms way. They always had eachother's back, in a way that none of the other T.O.'s & their Rookies had, b/c as Tim said, & Grey refers to Lucy as the HOT SHOT Rookie, b/c literally driving 2 work 4 her 1st day, her car had broken dwn & some guy wanted 2 steal it & do more 2 her. But as she reported in 4 duty, she also brought in her 1st collar!!! Tim may have trained Lucy, BUT Lucy also ALWAYS had Tim's back, esp personally!!! AND Tim knew she wz smart. And at 1 pt. he tells the other T.Os that "She is smarter than them, referring 2 Nolan & Jackson." The Captain also in season 1 partnered w/ Lucy 1 day, while Grey partnered w/ Nolan. At the end of the day, she apologizes 4 something. The Captain tells her she had nothing 2 apologize 4 & says 2 her, "Do u know why I chose 2 ride w/ u Officer Chen, its b/c u impress me!!! But says she still obviously has lots 2 learn. BUT...if it wzn't 4 Lucy, Tim could've easily lost his job & potentially hve been sent 2 prison, if Lucy didn't protect him when he started spiraling majorly!!! AND ultimately somehow, as tough as Tim presents himself Lucy KNOWS he is vulnerable, tempted b/c he's hurting over his wife Isabelle who wz a cop but became a junkie. When suddenly Tim bumps in2 her after a whole yr of NOT seeing her, she doesn't even recognize him at 1st. Tim's demeanor instantly changed!! He succumbs & gives her what she wants which is ONLY all the cash he has on him & as soon he gives it 2 her, she takes off 2 just get more drugs. He's broken up over it & tells Lucy 2 let the drug dealer go she has cuffed & whom Isabelle wz also pleading 4 him 2 not be arrested. Lucy has 0 clue what's going on & in the car, says 2 Tim, "What the hell was that?!" Suddenly Tim shakened w/ tears, says "That was my wife. I hven't seen her 4 a yr." Lucy softens & says "I won't say anything." Tim clearly broken replies, "Ur damn right, u won't." Tim begins 2 spiral more & more, when Isabelle ODs & refuses 2 let him help her. Eventually arrested 4 drug possession, though Tim knows she's lying, she asks him 2 do something illegal, a felony. BUT there is a Q: that we'll never know, is... if Lucy didn't intervene & follow Tim when Isabelle convinced him, while charged w/ possession, she tells him the nxt day, there will be a warrant 2 search her apartment & Tim asks what they will find?! When she tells him, Tim says, "R u REALLY that far gone?!!" B/c he learns that she let her boyfriend stash a kilo of Heroine in a vent in her place. Of course suddenly Isabelle is saying that it will be different this time & will go in2 Rehab. Tim KNOWS she's only lying. BUT...still Tim doesn't haven't the will power 2 say no. He ALMOST commited a felony on her behalf 2 save her from serious prison time & taken the kilo of heroine being stored at her place, 4 her boyfriend which Isabelle FULLY KNEW & ALLOWED!!! BUT...Lucy intervenes!!!! As he wz leaving, after sneaking in like a burglar & wearing black gloves 2 not leave prints, he is taking the kilo of heroine bk 2 his car, when he notices Lucy. He's FURIOUS w/ her & asks, "What the hell are u doing here?!" Lucy in response says "NO, what are u doing here?!" Lucy tells him, "U like 2 present urself as sum ROGUE cop, BUT u FOLLOW the LAW!!!" & said, "I came here 2 remind u, u'll regret helping her, B/C it's NOT gonna change her, BUT it will surely change you!!!" She leaves & Tim goes 2 his car w/ the kilo & slams the door. BUT somehow Lucy got thru 2 him, learns the next day, he DID go & put the kilo of Heroine back in2 the vent where she said he wz. And of course she is now being charged with a felony & Tim is told what they found. Lucy also helps Tim to laugh again!!!! He can't help himself as she pulls pranks on him!!!! And u see him smiling!!!! AND I love that Lucy helps him to ENJOY life again. It's a small clip BUT is 1 of my favorites. After a case, at a paint ball place, the 2 of them go & play. Suddenly Lucy says, "U're having fun aren't u?!"
Man I really want to watch the rookie from the very beginning again. Seeing all these old episodes make me realize how consistent this damn show is. Love it
If can't stream old episodes, you can buy episodes or whole seasons right on UA-cam. I love that!!!!! I didn't realize some episodes I missed. I tend 2 buy an episode, 1 at a time. Just out of interest, what pops out, using the The Rookie Guide by just googling it.
I will forever be grateful to the UA-cam algorithm for recommending a random Chenford video that got me started watching the show. I got hooked and now I am OBSESSED. They’re amazing, I am sooooo in love with them. Love their story!!! Writers better not break them up. I will riot! They’re endgame!!!

When Lucy asked if he ever saw himself getting married to Ashley, you can tell his answer was yes because it was directed at Lucy. And Tim saying Chris loves Lucy, but she doesn’t love him back because he’s not Tim.😭
I know this is about chenford, but I just love Angela saying "all true, not what I asked". It's like she got the truth even tho Tim did not answer her question with the expected answer lol
I have never rooted for a couple to be together harder than I did for Chen and Bradford. I love that they match so well together and there personalities bounce off one another. I am SO excited for season 6 to come out.
This is PHENOMENAL! I actually cried watching this. It’s so beautiful to see the progression of their relationship and how much they mean to each other and how much their relationship has grown. I love this so much! And I love the accompanying music! If they get married please add that, too! ❤️❤️
Oh yeah, please! She has to make this! I don't care if it will be an hour long. I'm here for it!!!! I think we're all ready for it. I really love this show with all characters but these two are special. Never wanted a couple to come together so bad. Since end of s1 I said "they should be together!" I earned weird faces for my saying and now we're finally here and I was so darn right 😂 So please, please, please! Make more videos like this so we all can enjoy their (hopefully) never ending story and see them grow much more together. And I would be so excited for them if Tim will pop THE question (cus they're already acting like a married couple) in one of the future seasons! 😂

Gosh, watching this after watching 5x12 hits so different.. if someone had told S1 Tim that he’d go through all of these journey and found himself go out of his comfort zone, changing job because he’s head over heels in love to Lucy and will do anything for her, he would’ve probably snickered and said “yeah right”😂. Nonetheless, they’re the slow burn that is worth to witness, a beautiful one there is. Can’t wait to see what the future has in store for these two. I bet it’ll be amazing❤
It's funny, Lucy fell for Tim first, but Tim fell harder for Lucy. I love their dynamic how it started from nothing and now their love is everything ❤️ ♥️ ❤
It was a combination of seeing Tim SO vulnerable!!!!! AND Lucy saying those words again while hugging him, she was so caring & spoke so softly to him!!!!!!! AND Tim just clung to her!!!!!!! It was beautiful & heartbreaking all at once!!!!!!
Ironically tonite seeing as we can't watch any new episodes until January. I watched a few episodes from Season 2. AND yes 2 of those Episodes were Rosalind Dyer's leading them to burial sites 4 families with the end which is when Lucy is abducted by Rosalind's Prodigy, Caleb. I NEVER noticed this before!!!!! BUT when they find her, well Tim is the 1 who finds where she is buried, noticing of course her ring, as others help him dig & then pry open the barrel 2 get her out, she's not breathing & they can kinda tell by the video thru the show u c Lopez more & more worried plus she looks 2 Tim scared 4 him & scared all around, u hear Grey ask, "Is she breathing & Tim's say no, & she doesn't have a pulse as Tim does CPR. All of them are terrified really b/c it takes a bit, & suddenly Lucy gasps & Lopez I began 2 also watch her more & more as I've watched this episode many times & u see this sudden EXHALE by everyone, esp Lopez, but everyone is also BEYOND relieved & just quiet. I stated how I began 2c Lopez more & more. The obvious is b/c Tim calls her & tells her she needs him. AND Tim feels completely responsible that he didn't c Caleb, & that in the end, he's the who put her harms way. Lopez tries 2 tell Tim, that he couldn't have known. But clearly he believes he should've. (But it wz also a turning pt in Lopez, Harper & Chen's relationship. They're relationship is deepened w/ Lopez equally terrified 4 Tim & Lucy & both Harper & Lopez trying 2 help Lucy in the next episode. BUT...Lucy clearly wz in shock & slowly begins 2 break down sobbing & shaking. It's a heart wrenching scene & everyone is just quiet. BUT as she cries & is shaking & is sobbing even more, Tim covers her as much as he can with his whole body & especially his arms. I ONLY noticed this 4 the 1st time last nite, while he is covering her as much as he can as everything is sinking in more & more 4 Lucy. Tim subtly begins to rock her. Lucy DID the EXACT same thing after when, she told Tim to come here. While hugging him & he clung to her, as she cont'd to console him telling him softly again, "You're nothing like him. " I think it's instinctive when someone is in serious distress, that it's like a mom or Dad or anyone whose been around babies in their life whether their own or thru other ppl, families or friends or their work, it's instinctive what u do when they're crying or scared. BUT Lucy instinctively DID the same 4 Tim & it wz exactly what Tim did 4 Lucy, after reviving her. Lucy while hugging him, Tim's like clinging to her 4 dear life!!!! U don't c them let go in that scene, as it's pure love & Lucy consoling him, while he's hanging on. And obviously needing it. It's SO rare in a show or even in the movies 2c a male character show that much vulnerability & 2 a female. BUT in this scenario u c Tim's face, while u c Lucy's back & hear her speak so softly & tenderly. (I've thot of 'This Is Us') Anyone who watched it know, they're were many emotional & crying scenes. BUT I got 2 say I think this ensemble, deserves 2b just as much recognized & rewarded in nominations!!! Other than a few characters, the main cast is incredible!!!! Of course I LOVE Chenford, but to only watch videos of Chenford, u miss a lot of the nuances & how they grow & change as characters. I don't know how Eric Winter made that scene so believable & equally Melissa. Yes Sterling Brown received a few awards & was worthy due 2 his performances & they also one 4 best ensemble in the Screen Guild's awards 1 yr. BUT...it's incredible that it's a cop show w/ so much heart & yet at times levity. ( But I still say Bailey's character has got 2 go.) It has just become 2 cheesy & it wz starting 2 bring the show down until these 2 last episodes. There's just no heart or real connection!!!! I was SO THRILLED that these last 2 episodes, something changed in a good way.
I have never watched The Rookies except for the first 15 mins of the series 1x0 1but I am going to watch for the two of them. Chenford has amazing chemistry.
When Lucy says that not liking natures gifts is on brand for Tim, all I thought, 'It was on Bradford him'. I love how he grabs her hand when she heard about Roslind. It fit in well enough for them not to notice.

OMG this is amazing. Thank you so much for making, I love watching their wonderful journey, they are an exquisite couple. I’ve loved and rooted for them since their eyes met during roll call that first day, it has been a wonderful journey watching them & their relationship grow over the years, not to mention their wonderful banter/humor. I’m so proud of Tim and Lucy for being brave and realizing that love is always worth the risk & they have found that person who is worth the effort. Can’t wait to see all their new firsts and although I’m sure they will continue to have obstacles; I know they will face them together because they truly are soulmates who just make each other happy and I can’t wait to continue watching their journey.
Binge watch the 6 seasons in a week, and it’s season 6 finale in a week or so. I have never been so invested in a TV couple as much as this one! I even watched multiple interviews from those two. Chenford forever!!
The fact that there are people out there who never saw this coming or thought it was ever a possibility is crazy! I saw it in one episode and was hooked.
ABC put out some pretty good shows at least in terms of like shows that are formatted like this. I’m sure that they have so many shows that they’ve bought out that are drastically different shows in this but this show I think 911 and 911 Lonestar are also by ABC, but whatever reason I don’t know why every show that I have found, that is like a drama where it has to do with the emergency services has always been a good show. I don’t know why. relationship I love it so much. It actually made me cringe watching her and Nolan date for that short period of time they were not meant to date her and Nolan were definitely just meant to be friends and I’m not gonna lie when I first started. I thought she was , and then I started seeing and I was like I said that if the writers ever put them together, I would lose my mind. I personally thought that Tim was a jerk to be with and I was like there’s no way this is going to work out between the two of them and then as you find out more of his story and why he is the way he is and why he’s got all these walls built up around him warm up for him. and you realize he’s not a bad person. He’s just trying to protect himself while doing his job the best he can.
Thanks to this video it hits me like a truck how much their feelings are mutual from the at least second part of season 4. I mean that Tim always cared for Lucy and she might have a liitle crush on him before but with time she mostly moved on and started dating Chis. But since their undercover work Tim has started to fall for her REALLY HARD And he tried TO CHECK ALMOST EVERY SECOND OF IT IF SHE MIGHT FEEL THE SAME. ❤ It is really good to watch Tim all grown up, initiative and making first moves towards her!
I was Team Chenford from the first moment they met. They were already the best couple on the show, with the best chemistry, back then. Unlike Nolan, whose love affairs are sooo boring and with absolutely no chemistry, no matter which woman.
Oh that was... Is AWESOME! To see the development in their relationship from the beginning until now... WOHOOO! The funny thing is that after a few episodes of the first season you could sense they were about to have a special bond and relationship. 💞 They both took a long journey from season 1 to 5 - and it was/is worth it. If you are that person that likes those types of shows you should watch it if you haven’t by now.😊
The fact that people waited 5 years but I’ve only been watching the show mainly for Nathan aka Nolan because I knew him from castle and also love cop shows but this cast has made me fall in love also I’m all for CHENFORD because of Tik Tok I started to binge on Hulu 🥰 I’m all caught up now season 6 🥰❤️

I binge watched this show in 16 days from season 1 to season 5!!! Ive been completely HOOKED! I just finished the end of season 5 last night and now i dont know what to do with myself?!?! Lol im actually sad that i finished it,and season 6 dont start til next year🙁

I really hope that the writers don’t ever try to split them up. They’ve had one of the best romantic storylines for 5 years now. The writers took their time and slowly made each and every one of us fall in love with Lucy and with Tim, separately and together.

That's one of my favorite scenes & episodes of Season 5x3. I've rewatched it a couple of times. I wasn't aware the 1st time it was on TV that, at the bottom, it says (a month later). Many of us fans thot we wouldn't c Lucy in the next episode b/c we knew she recruited for specific training in under cover work. I knew it had to be a little bit of time, but she was gone for a month. As roll call begins, the 1st thing that Sgt Grey did was congratulate her, on successfully completely the DEA. Covert Operations Academy. And Sgt Grey adds that this was no small feet. I missed a few things b/c of how the writers or main writer, had Nolan, Jackson & Lucy as Rookies for 3 seasons. Somewhere in the middle of Season, they had their last shift as Rookies expect ,4 Nolan b/c of choices that he & his TO made without going to IA. BUT...in this ep, right at the start, I had also missed the fact, that Thorsen was now a P2 & done being a Rookie & was why he could now be Tim's
aid. What struck me as re-watched this ep. is Rosalind Dyer STILL had been caught & arrested again. I'm sure with all that Tim was concerned about, this had to also make him worry. Yes, there's no doubt that Tim suddenly looked really concerned as he 1st asked Thorsen then calls dispatch & has them to a security check on Lucy. It had almost been 3 hrs, &, she was riding solo that day. But as dispatch does a security check, Lucy's unresponsive b/c she's locked where her cuz her radio won't work. Tim was definitely mad, that she was not heard from by that long of time, & that they didn't due a security check earlier, Tim says that's a problem, but we'll deal with that later. For now, give me the address of her last known location. AND Thorsen & Tim find her. If u don't have a streaming service, u can always buy single episodes or whole seasons on YT. It was an EP. I bought, & couldn't believe what I forgot, other than main clips u can see on someone's channel.
But I found the whole ep. REALLY informative. Lucy is DEFINITELY smart as Chris had joined some online grp trying to track down Rosalind Dyer. Lucy has nothing else to do, but waits & reluctantly told Chris that she would read what he wanted to.
She suddenly reads a comment & Lucy says out loud to herself, this person makes sense. Something to that affect. Suddenly she realizes & remembers that those were the words that Rosalind had said herself.
SO...once Tim is able to pry the door open, she said she thinks she knows where Rosalind is. AND says reading this, said, "I think one of them is her."
In the end, Lucy & Chris are asked to meet with the FBI. And the team of agents agree with Lucy that this person is Rosalind Dyer, & not some random person trying 2 find her.
Chris is horrified. BUT... again it shows her intelligence & Sgt Grey has her come 2 him as the FBI task force hunting down Rosalind, want her to join them, as they've tracked down where she was. AND they did, but it was too late. Rosalind was gone & left a disturbing message & dead victims.
It was the following EP. that Rosalind is caught. Nolan can't go thru with what she has asked him 2 do. But clearly had a plan.
And her acolyte had shot her in the head so that would be her ending.

Lucy is the only one who was ever able to get to him. He had such a guard up after the whole Isabel debacle (for obvious reasons) but she got under his skin from day 1 in the best possible way. All of the pranks she pulled on him? There is no way in hell he would've tolerated that from anyone else. She has turned his world upside down and he's smiling so much now and it's beyond adorable. Looking at season 1 Tim and season 5 Tim is like night and day and I'm here for allllll of it!

This slow burn type of love is so great. The progress of their characters and the build up of love is very admirable. Seeing them from day 1 of season 1 til end of season 5, I know for sure it’s worth the wait to see them finally together. Honestly, i’ve never been so engaged this much with this type of drama, but The Rookie hits different. I love everything about it. Can barely wait for the next season❤

Tim Bradford is a good reminder that things aren’t always as they appear. He had been through a lot & Lucy always factored this in in how she dealt with him. Even when she told him off, she went right back at it the next day. A great life lesson, & I try to keep that in mind when dealing with people who are more difficult outwardly but also struggling internally realizing we’ve all been there at one time or another.
This is such a kind thought! If we only had always the energy to be that level of kind and keep our own stress to ourselves... Anyway trying this definetly helps.

That's actually something I really like about that Show too because it let's them appear more like "real" people who wear things more often than one time and not someone who is wearing Something different every day which is quite unrealistic.

Blue Bloods after a case & the end of last season Baez whose a detective on that show, who didn't know whether she ever wanted kids fell in love & adopted the baby.
She is a single mom. A few shows have been doing this. Chicago PD Kim ended up adopting McKayla, she wasn't a baby. But sweet & had been thru so much. And Ruzek has basically become her Dad. He legally is her guardian if something were to happen to Kim. But I am NOT sure if he can adopt her though her biological father murdered her family & the mother of his baby.
It will be interesting to c if the baby has any other biological relatives. We know that the mom bailed.
This isn't an accurate view of Tim from season 1 at all. He was far more multi-dimensional & complex & NOT simply stone cold to Lucy. Lucy literally saved Tim's life her 1st shift!!!! Shooting bk while Tim was shot & pulling him into safety 2 further protect him & calling the radio & again when their shop was shot so that engine would catch fire, & once again she had to pull him out of harms way.
They always had eachother's back, in a way that none of the other T.O.'s & their Rookies had, b/c as Tim said, & Grey refers to Lucy as the HOT SHOT Rookie, b/c literally driving 2 work 4 her 1st day, her car had broken dwn & some guy wanted 2 steal it & do more 2 her. But as she reported in 4 duty, she also brought in her 1st collar!!! Tim may have trained Lucy, BUT Lucy also ALWAYS had Tim's back, esp personally!!! AND Tim knew she wz smart. And at 1 pt. he tells the other T.Os that "She is smarter than them, referring 2 Nolan & Jackson."
The Captain also in season 1 partnered w/ Lucy 1 day, while Grey partnered w/ Nolan.
At the end of the day, she apologizes 4 something. The Captain tells her she had nothing 2 apologize 4 & says 2 her, "Do u know why I chose 2 ride w/ u Officer Chen, its b/c u impress me!!! But says she still obviously has lots 2 learn.
BUT...if it wzn't 4 Lucy, Tim could've easily
lost his job & potentially hve been sent 2 prison, if Lucy didn't protect him when he started spiraling majorly!!! AND ultimately somehow, as tough as Tim presents himself Lucy KNOWS he is vulnerable, tempted b/c he's hurting over his wife Isabelle who wz a cop but became a junkie. When suddenly Tim bumps in2 her after a whole yr of NOT seeing her, she doesn't even recognize him at 1st. Tim's demeanor instantly changed!!
He succumbs & gives her what she wants which is ONLY all the cash he has on him & as soon he gives it 2 her, she takes off 2 just get more drugs. He's broken up over it & tells Lucy 2 let the drug dealer go she has cuffed & whom Isabelle wz also pleading 4 him 2 not be arrested. Lucy has 0 clue what's going on & in the car, says 2 Tim, "What the hell was that?!" Suddenly Tim shakened w/ tears, says "That was my wife. I hven't seen her 4 a yr." Lucy softens & says "I won't say anything." Tim clearly broken replies, "Ur damn right, u won't." Tim begins 2 spiral more & more, when Isabelle ODs & refuses 2 let him help her. Eventually arrested 4 drug possession, though Tim knows she's lying, she asks him 2 do something illegal, a felony. BUT there is a Q: that we'll never know, is... if Lucy didn't intervene & follow Tim when Isabelle convinced him, while charged w/ possession, she tells him the nxt day, there will be a warrant 2 search her apartment & Tim asks what they will find?! When she tells him, Tim says, "R u REALLY that far gone?!!" B/c he learns that she let her boyfriend stash a kilo of Heroine in a vent in her place. Of course suddenly Isabelle is saying that it will be different this time & will go in2 Rehab. Tim KNOWS she's only lying. BUT...still Tim doesn't haven't the will power 2 say no. He ALMOST commited a felony on her behalf 2 save her from serious prison time & taken the kilo of heroine being stored at her place, 4 her boyfriend which Isabelle FULLY KNEW & ALLOWED!!! BUT...Lucy intervenes!!!! As he wz leaving, after sneaking in like a burglar & wearing black gloves 2 not leave prints, he is taking the kilo of heroine bk 2 his car, when he notices Lucy. He's FURIOUS w/ her & asks, "What the hell are u doing here?!" Lucy in response says "NO, what are u doing here?!" Lucy tells him, "U like 2 present urself as sum ROGUE cop, BUT u FOLLOW the LAW!!!" & said, "I came here 2 remind u, u'll regret helping her, B/C it's NOT gonna change her, BUT it will surely change you!!!" She leaves & Tim goes 2 his car w/ the kilo & slams the door. BUT somehow Lucy got thru 2 him, learns the next day, he DID go & put the kilo of Heroine back in2 the vent where she said he wz. And of course she is now being charged with a felony & Tim is told what they found.
Lucy also helps Tim to laugh again!!!! He can't help himself as she pulls pranks on him!!!! And u see him smiling!!!! AND I love that Lucy helps him to ENJOY life again. It's a small clip BUT is 1 of my favorites. After a case, at a paint ball place, the 2 of them go & play. Suddenly Lucy says, "U're having fun aren't u?!"
Man I really want to watch the rookie from the very beginning again. Seeing all these old episodes make me realize how consistent this damn show is. Love it

Gosh, watching this after watching 5x12 hits so different.. if someone had told S1 Tim that he’d go through all of these journey and found himself go out of his comfort zone, changing job because he’s head over heels in love to Lucy and will do anything for her, he would’ve probably snickered and said “yeah right”😂. Nonetheless, they’re the slow burn that is worth to witness, a beautiful one there is. Can’t wait to see what the future has in store for these two. I bet it’ll be amazing❤

It was a combination of seeing Tim SO vulnerable!!!!! AND Lucy saying those words again while hugging him, she was so caring & spoke so softly to him!!!!!!! AND Tim just clung to her!!!!!!! It was beautiful & heartbreaking all at once!!!!!!
Ironically tonite seeing as we can't watch any new episodes until January. I watched a few episodes from Season 2. AND yes 2 of those Episodes were Rosalind Dyer's leading them to burial sites 4 families with the end which is when Lucy is abducted by Rosalind's Prodigy, Caleb. I NEVER noticed this before!!!!! BUT when they find her, well Tim is the 1 who finds where she is buried, noticing of course her ring, as others help him dig & then pry open the barrel 2 get her out, she's not breathing & they can kinda tell by the video thru the show u c Lopez more & more worried plus she looks 2 Tim scared 4 him & scared all around, u hear Grey ask, "Is she breathing & Tim's say no, & she doesn't have a pulse as Tim does CPR. All of them are terrified really b/c it takes a bit, & suddenly Lucy gasps & Lopez I began 2 also watch her more & more as I've watched this episode many times & u see this sudden EXHALE by everyone, esp Lopez, but everyone is also BEYOND relieved & just quiet. I stated how I began 2c Lopez more & more. The obvious is b/c Tim calls her & tells her she needs him. AND Tim feels completely responsible that he didn't c Caleb, & that in the end, he's the who put her harms way. Lopez tries 2 tell Tim, that he couldn't have known. But clearly he believes he should've. (But it wz also a turning pt in Lopez, Harper & Chen's relationship. They're relationship is deepened w/ Lopez equally terrified 4 Tim & Lucy & both Harper & Lopez trying 2 help Lucy in the next episode. BUT...Lucy clearly wz in shock & slowly begins 2 break down sobbing & shaking. It's a heart wrenching scene & everyone is just quiet. BUT as she cries & is shaking & is sobbing even more, Tim covers her as much as he can with his whole body & especially his arms. I ONLY noticed this 4 the 1st time last nite, while he is covering her as much as he can as everything is sinking in more & more 4 Lucy. Tim subtly begins to rock her. Lucy DID the EXACT same thing after when, she told Tim to come here. While hugging him & he clung to her, as she cont'd to console him telling him softly again, "You're nothing like him. " I think it's instinctive when someone is in serious distress, that it's like a mom or Dad or anyone whose been around babies in their life whether their own or thru other ppl, families or friends or their work, it's instinctive what u do when they're crying or scared.
BUT Lucy instinctively DID the same 4 Tim & it wz exactly what Tim did 4 Lucy, after reviving her. Lucy while hugging him, Tim's like clinging to her 4 dear life!!!! U don't c them let go in that scene, as it's pure love & Lucy consoling him, while he's hanging on. And obviously needing it. It's SO rare in a show or even in the movies 2c a male character show that much vulnerability & 2 a female. BUT in this scenario u c Tim's face, while u c Lucy's back & hear her speak so softly & tenderly. (I've thot of 'This Is Us') Anyone who watched it know, they're were many emotional & crying scenes. BUT I got 2 say I think this ensemble, deserves 2b just as much recognized & rewarded in nominations!!! Other than a few characters, the main cast is incredible!!!! Of course I LOVE Chenford, but to only watch videos of Chenford, u miss a lot of the nuances & how they grow & change as characters. I don't know how Eric Winter made that scene so believable & equally Melissa. Yes Sterling Brown received a few awards & was worthy due 2 his performances & they also one 4 best ensemble in the Screen Guild's awards 1 yr. BUT...it's incredible that it's a cop show w/ so much heart & yet at times levity. ( But I still say Bailey's character has got 2 go.) It has just become 2 cheesy & it wz starting 2 bring the show down until these 2 last episodes. There's just no heart or real connection!!!! I was SO THRILLED that these last 2 episodes, something changed in a good way.

OMG this is amazing. Thank you so much for making, I love watching their wonderful journey, they are an exquisite couple. I’ve loved and rooted for them since their eyes met during roll call that first day, it has been a wonderful journey watching them & their relationship grow over the years, not to mention their wonderful banter/humor. I’m so proud of Tim and Lucy for being brave and realizing that love is always worth the risk & they have found that person who is worth the effort. Can’t wait to see all their new firsts and although I’m sure they will continue to have obstacles; I know they will face them together because they truly are soulmates who just make each other happy and I can’t wait to continue watching their journey.

Binge watch the 6 seasons in a week, and it’s season 6 finale in a week or so. I have never been so invested in a TV couple as much as this one! I even watched multiple interviews from those two. Chenford forever!!
The fact that there are people out there who never saw this coming or thought it was ever a possibility is crazy! I saw it in one episode and was hooked.

ABC put out some pretty good shows at least in terms of like shows that are formatted like this. I’m sure that they have so many shows that they’ve bought out that are drastically different shows in this but this show I think 911 and 911 Lonestar are also by ABC, but whatever reason I don’t know why every show that I have found, that is like a drama where it has to do with the emergency services has always been a good show. I don’t know why.
relationship I love it so much. It actually made me cringe watching her and Nolan date for that short period of time they were not meant to date her and Nolan were definitely just meant to be friends and I’m not gonna lie when I first started. I thought she was , and then I started seeing and I was like I said that if the writers ever put them together, I would lose my mind. I personally thought that Tim was a jerk to be with and I was like there’s no way this is going to work out between the two of them and then as you find out more of his story and why he is the way he is and why he’s got all these walls built up around him warm up for him. and you realize he’s not a bad person. He’s just trying to protect himself while doing his job the best he can.
I feel like when Lucy pranks Tim in the car with feelings it really opened the window and what came after.

Thanks to this video it hits me like a truck how much their feelings are mutual from the at least second part of season 4. I mean that Tim always cared for Lucy and she might have a liitle crush on him before but with time she mostly moved on and started dating Chis. But since their undercover work Tim has started to fall for her REALLY HARD And he tried TO CHECK ALMOST EVERY SECOND OF IT IF SHE MIGHT FEEL THE SAME. ❤ It is really good to watch Tim all grown up, initiative and making first moves towards her!

I was Team Chenford from the first moment they met. They were already the best couple on the show, with the best chemistry, back then. Unlike Nolan, whose love affairs are sooo boring and with absolutely no chemistry, no matter which woman.

Do it! This show is so good in so many ways and it's awesome in how invested you get with the characters! Not only Chenford's slow burn, but the way Nolan grew for example!
