Welcome home Mapperton Eagles! You have definitely been missed by your family and friends 🎉❤!!! Thank you to everyone who shared in their repair and homecoming ❤🎉!
Just stunning work. Imagine seeing these eagles first crafted, and now reborn to grace the entry of Mapperton. Such gracious generous donors. Very touching. Thank you.
Found it interesting that the entrance to Mapperton has eagles and Julie was born in America and the symbol of America is the eagle. Great job with restoration of the eagles. Enjoying watching the history of the place and the restoration of the property.
To me, it is so important to keep these homes as well as other really old places up. In the U S old majestic homes are not being taken care of as well as they should be. These places are part of history and for many of us a shared heritage. Our families can be traced back to several of the grand homes and castles in Europe. I want them there for my Granddaughters to see in the future. You are doing a great service in making others aware that it restorations need to be done and that several need to get involved in funding the process.
The eagles have risen from their ashes thanks to the great generosity of the patreons and other donors who have thus left their mark for the posterity of Mapperton Manor and to the amazing workmanship of the restorer.
Julie and Luke, I was getting all emotional watching this, so no need to apologize! My tears were almost falling and there was the HUGE lump in my throat as you were talking. Those brilliant big birds are BACK! WELL DONE, ALL! The craftsmen, the scaffolding staff, the transporters to get them home safely, and most importantly, the generous donors who helped pay for this enormous task of repair! Thank you all for getting those eagles back on their perches, guarding the house and greeting the visitors! Simply magnificent!
How beautiful the front of the house looks with all the flowering vines in bloom! Plant more! Spring is definitely Mapperton season! They are just beautiful! eagles! The unveiling of Luke was hilarious! Fantastic craftsmanship and what a great team effort to get Flutter and Swoop back up! Glad you took down those old battered wooden gates. I think cast iron gates would be beautiful in future, if you decide to replace them.
Hi Julie and Luke, "AMAZING" the eagles have come home. They look so beautiful. Thank you everybody who was able to donate and make this possible. I am so happy for you and for Mapperton. Love from N.Y.
Awww…the eagle unveiling made me tear up! Then it made me laugh my guts out! The music was perfection! 😂😂😂 The bird show you provided your guests at the end was top notch! Wow!
Anyone who has seen eagles in flight has seen nature’s beauty at its best! These are a fine representation of their beauty! May they guard Mapperton for another one hundred years!!!
This was so funny--the comment about being afraid most of all about gravity and the slight delay with unveiling the eagles. I'm so happy they have been beautifully restored. Thank you to all who contributed and thank you Julie and Luke for being willing to ask people for help rather than letting this beautiful piece of history fall to ruin.
You are so fortunate to have the craftsmen available to repair your magnificent eagles! They will fly proudly again for a very long time! Thank you Patreons and all donors making the restoration possible! ❤🎉
This is a MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE! Congratulations on your lovely home, may you have many years and possible generations to know, love and live here. It is a marvel to see, and I'm so glad you found this property and love it. Thank you for your videos, of course I have subscribed :).
I am just now watching this as well as attempting to get back into the roll of life after surgery. Tears, actual tears of joy seeing these brilliant Eagles back to their majestic perches. Oh how I would have cherished each second of being there to see the unavailing and to be standing among others there. I am full of pride to see not only my name on the plaque but all the other names as well.
Glad it all came together so very well. They sure do give the manor house that majestic look. Congratulations to all on a project well done! Now sit back and enjoy.
Absolutely amazing that everyone came together and made this happen! You should all feel very proud of your efforts. Congratulations Luke & Julie!! 🎉🍾❤
Thank you to everyone who so kindly + generously donated to the restoration of these magnificent eagles. And thanks to the artisan who recreated these ancient art/artifacts. Congratulations to Luke and Julie and his parents for all the work they do maintaining this historic and lovely home.
What a fabulous video. I am so happy for everybody - including the patrons and donors that were able to attend this event. So grateful for you to maintain the history of beautiful England.
So majestic. They truly are another crowning gory to Mapperton. Even when Mike was starting on them it was obvious the artistic talent that would be required. He did a masterful restoration. From Oklahoma USA what a blessing to be a part of this even though not in person🙏✝️🕊️
Julie, I have noticed your accent becoming less American and more English. A lot of your words you have picked up the English way of saying them. Like the word "all" It's a unique accent, I like it.
Hurrah! The eagles have returned to their home. Has it really been two years? Time really has flown (no pun intended). BTW, as soon as I saw those unveiling covers, I thought there'd be trouble!!
🇨🇦 it has been two years! I did not realize was that long! I remember that day and when we realized what really bad shape those Eagles were in, that was scary and they were so historic. Thank goodness for the patreons and viewers!! I love those eagles.😍
