Yes sir the time frame is accurate but I also want to say , you can always call 📞 a company anonymously and ask them about their drug testing procedures/ policies and they should tell you. Also if you haven’t already please subscribe to the channel 🙏🏿 and I wish u the very best on your cdl journey
Your video is showing that is three months old is that accurate? Today’s date is April 7, 2024. I’m trying to figure out the timeframe maybe they change policies if it’s an old video regarding the drug test
I tried to get in with swift and I failed my hair follicle test but I pass the urine test so i am in the process of waiting to sign up for prime I hope I get through
I got declined, although my license was suspended back in 2021 i got them reinstated July 5 2024 i couldn't get in and I got my permit and tanker endorsement i had my orientation date same day declined
Okay i appreciate that I’m from Houston as well glad to see some fellow houstonians out here giving out helpful advice for those who want a better life thank you 💯🤝🏾
That’s crazy they had yall catch a grey hound prime inc on some cheap shit rooming with strangers is not right an is a safety risk because you don’t know the next person an how they living
@@Utgalief since yall had experience did yall have to do there dumb ass training with a trainer in them slow ass trucks my wifey said there trucks too slow for us to go over there lol
Yes and they are huge on safety so you are correct 👍 again most trucks are governed at 65-66 mph and we endured the training and I can say as far as being an oTR lease operator, PRIME is kind of worth enduring if you can . Especially if u already have a team / co driver . They have many terminals and really try to take care of their operators
@@Utgalief yeah I got 4 years fr we are about to start pulling triples an doubles an hazmat loads but good luck to you guys I been doing it for a while to go over there to do lease we going after our own truck in August and lease it on to landstar fr we just tired of the companies an the bs an definitely ain’t about to go through training with a trainer with stuff I already know but I do wish you an yours the best of luck
I'm a second-year high school student aiming to become a long-distance truck driver at Prime. My doctor told me that I was color blind and that I was born with no cells that can distinguish between green and red, But that doesn't mean you can't tell the difference at all. I understand the color of the traffic light. However, it can be difficult to distinguish which are dull reds and which are green. Is it possible to obtain an A-class license? (I'm Japanese)
I came through Prime, let the folks know if you come to prime ask your recruiter if you can get reimbursed for the airline flight. If you find a flight cheaper than the bus they’ll reimburse you and you just call the shuttle to pick you up and take you to the hotel.
5:16... 1-24-24. Hello brother how are you good people doing? I wanted to ask did y'all do just a urine drug test only? No hair folical test. I ask because I'm hearing some people say they did the hair test. I have quit smoking gas but it's only been about 2 months and I wanted to sign up for prime but I didn't want to and get to the training facility and get a unexpected surprise feel me. I wanna make sure I'm straight. And I understand that you took a urine test in your home town. So did you have to take another when u got to prime? And also do they pay for the rental car in advance if you know. If not I have to take the janky bus I been hearing about 😂😂. My money funny at moment. And how much money would you estimate I may need for the duration of my stay? I really appreciate the info y'all have passed down. Thanks get back with me.
Thank you!!! And please subscribe to the channel if you haven’t already, They only did one urine test before we got to orientation. And no further drug test , no hair follicle test , they did not and don’t think they will pay for a rental car 🚗 so you will most likely have to prepare to take a greyhound or whatever bus service your city offers , and as far as money 💰 I would bring $200 but remember they will pay during the entire process once you get there so you will have money and transportation to go to Walmart and buy the things you need . I hope that answers your questions thank you again 🙏🏿and I wish you well ! 🙏🏿 you’ll do fine . Believe it 👉🏿✨
They might if not there’s some 2nd chance companies like Werner and us express but u gotta pay for cdl school on yo own lotta states have workforce commission that will pay for cdl school
Yoo everyone says you gotta have your work history paperwork perfectly match what you put online, when your FIRST first started. How hard is that? Are you able to just flat out pull up your application to fill out the paperwork at the orientation? The past work history and stuff that has to match?
Be prepared for TNT u gotta deal with a trainer for 3 months dealing with a person that ain’t similar to your personality is hard but luckily I got along with my trainer but then when u get 3 critical events for braking to hard or if someone jumps in front of u then u are the only blame they don’t care if it ain’t your fault but if that happens u gotta do another 10k miles with your trainer so that why I left cause it just wasn’t worth it but if u go lease and u want to make great money then u would half to become a trainer but once u in the truck u realize you’re just a number just like every other job
Yes I heard that a lot too especially now I have definitely heard that it ain’t all good With prime to be honest I have actually heard some pretty jacked up stories especially in the TNT phase
Tnt phase is what it is you have to be on the road with a trainer. As far as getting critical events really on you and if you get three on tnt phase what’s really going on. Cars do cut you off just try to drop your speed because they do stupid stuff. Y’all having that posistive vibe is what is good coming out on the road. Prime also do random drug tests so don’t freak out. You do not have to be at a terminal. But over all I’m glad y’all joining the team. 💯💯💯
You literally get a critical event if the truck slips on ice lol not even a lot just alil slip and u got one it so easy to get them especially if u got a truck with sensitive sensors but not everyone got TNT the same I drove every state in 2 months I was at 45k before my 3 critical came but goodluck to you and always keep in mind that Walmart loads u can’t be there more then a hour early and high value loads u might half to move your truck every 3 hours …

Visit your department of transportation office and speak with a guidance counselor, they will have more information
