I love this piece. Vibrant colors that are softened with the white. I'm partial to painting with negative areas. I also would love to know what was the music playing. It was great!
Thank you very much for your support and kind words! 💐🎨😊 I’m happy that you liked my work and color choice. I like to experiment with negative space and work with it. I think it can make all the difference to the work. 💐🎨 I take music from epidemic sound, they have a nice library and always add new music, you can listen or create your own albums there for free too, like Spotify. 💖
Hi Helen....love it !! I am a newbee and this method is something that i cant do it properly up to know. I swiped with plastic, card, etc . I will try with baking paper..Thank u for sharing....❤❤
Hi Helen, I love this and want to give it a try. I know mine won’t come out like yours however near the end of the video ,I guess as a bit of time passed, it looked like the white moved quite a bit and maybe some other colors or cells were revealed. What I’d like to know is after it was completely dry, did it look pretty much the same as it looked at the end of the video. Hope you don’t mind my asking. Thank you.
Hi Peggy, and thank you for your question and kind words! 💐🎨 Yes, this work ended up as at the end of the video, and the movement of the white paint was fast and moving at the end because I made the speed very fast as I was filming for a long time. After I turned off the camera the paint didn't flow off the canvas anymore. 😊 Good luck with your pour! 🍀
I want to do a partial swipe on wood, with the wood showing through. Can you tell me how to prepare the wood first? I plan on staining it with water based stain first. Will I have to seal it after the stain?
I would suggest to use floetrol instead of pouring medium. Don’t seal the wood, or do anything with it, but do a sample first, or check how it looks on a small part of the wood. 😊 I did. try it, and I liked result! 😊🎨
So beautifully designed. Thank you , Utah

Thank you! 🎨💐
Love how that piece came out, it did look like it was a bit heavy with paint. I would love to see how it dried.
This is one of my earliest work, now I try to include the video of dry work too, when I have time to do so, as I got many requests to show them. 🌷🎨
Very cool!

What did you seal it with when it was dry?
Idk what she used but personally I use winsor & newton gloss varnish and it looks beautiful!
I used varnish with UV protection spray, by Lukas brand. They have different types, but I prefer glossy one. 🎨💐
