    I love the combination of green with gold. Plus once I found an extremely shiny golden acrylic paint, I immediately wanted to use it in my next work. At first, I decided to do a ghost pour using a reversed swipe combined with a regular swipe, but then I saw that the results didn't differ much, so I stuck to the basic swipe technique.
    What you'll need:
    1) 30 x 40 cm or 12 x 16"
    2) 10 Acrylic colors:
    Neutral Grey
    Reflex Yellow
    Reflex Green
    Lamp Black
    Primary Yellow
    Titanium White
    Sap Green
    Permanent Green Light
    Deep Gold
    Extremely Bright Metallic
    3) Pouring Fluid - liquid acrylic medium
    4) 8 squeeze bottles and 1 plastic cup
    5) Blow torch for cooking
    6) Mixing spoons
    7) Art Spatula or kitchen knife
    8) Baking paper
    9) Plastic sheets for swipe, I cut mine from a plastic folder.
    Preparations:
    1) Mix pouring fluid with colors in separate plastic cups/tubes.
    (Follow instructions written on pouring fluid, as each one has a different ratio.)
    TIP: Be careful to press gently the plastic sheet when you are swiping, to avoid removing too much paint.
    Instructions:
    Follow the steps in the video.
    Leave the paint to dry for about 48 - 72 hours.
    Thank you for watching!

    What is that little spray tool you use about 1:10 into the video? What is that for?

    • @HelenHue
      @HelenHue  3 роки тому

      Thank you for your comment, it’s not a spray, it’s the blow torch for cooking to heat the paint and to get rid of any air bubbles. 🎨😊

    Hi Helen, I am sooo impressed of your work!!!! I am new in the pouring scene and I am just wondering if the golden colour never needs to be mixed with the pouring medium? Can you help me please???
    Thanks in advance for your answer
    Helga ;-)

    • @HelenHue
      @HelenHue  2 роки тому

      Dear Helga, thank you for your question, and welcome to the pouring community! 😊🎨💐🥳 In this work I didn’t mix this paint by Rayher with anything, because I was happy with its consistency, it is nor too thick, nor too thin, perfect consistency for this technique. However depending on the technique I use, I also mix this paint with medium to get the same consistency as my other paints. For example for open cup technique I make this Rayher golden metallic thinner, by also mixing it with the medium. 💐🎨 Metallic paints unlike normal acrylic pants also create beautiful pearl and cells effects, depending also on the technique, if you make the bed technique, you surely will get pearls and cells. I also strongly recommend to always try metallic paints before the main painting on a ruined canvas, or on a small one, to see how they „behave“. Because even this brand of this golden metallic I use sometimes the consistency is slightly different. 😅 Happy pouring! And let me know if you have any other questions. I’ll be happy to help out. 😊💖🎨

      @@HelenHue Hi Helen, thank you very much for your help. If it is okay for you I will have some questions in future for sure, because I am just about learning pouring and here in my area where I live at, isn't anyone I could ask or are courses. So thanks again and have a nice weekend ;-)
      Helga
      By the way: The first question, what is a bed pouring??? I never heard about it. :-D

    • @HelenHue
      @HelenHue  2 роки тому

      @@helgalang8427 Dear Helga, yes, I will be happy to answer your questions and help you, where I can. 🎨💐😊 The bed is a think layer of paint, usually metallic, on which you pour another technique, for example ring pour, or open cup. If you search my channel, I also do have some works with „on bed“ on the name. And if it’s not in the name, pretty much if you do see as a cover of my video „circles“, it will be a bed technique on my channel. 🎨💐 I like bed Pour a lot as it creates pearls and cells effect. 😀 happy pouring! 💖
