Inside SOU entrance no bags allowed. You need to keep things in locker. However outside you can eat anywhere. The Parking has too many benches and tables.

Very useful video. I wanted information if we can go by our car to ekta nursery and other attractions.
You have to leave your Car at Sheresth Bharat Bhawan. From there you have to take a Free AC bus that goes to all places. Places like Ekta Nursury, Pat Zoo, and Safari, are very close. So after the Statue visit take bus to Jungle safari and then you can walk to other options. Saradar sarowar dam is a bit far from here so again take Bus. Ekta nagar platform pe khane ka kuch facility hai kya? Station ke bahar kuch hai breakfast ke stalls etc?
BRG ka chek out time strict 10AM hai. we book for one day in advance we got ready and checked out.
Ekta Nagar station par basic food options hain. Jyada kuch nahi.
one can get ready at station waiting room also and then proceed for Parking in free bus for good Breakfast options.

We took AC room for 1400 for three people. There are non ac room also and they are cheaper

They do take half day booking if rooms ate available
Ye kuch business wale lucche aur swarthi hote hai. Har jagah, airport wala rate charge karte hai. Statue of liberty me, ek dosa Rs 300 ka hai aur vada pav Rs 80 ka hai. Shame.
Yes food court is very costly. However just outside gate number 4 there are several dhaba and they share good local food at reasonable rates.
