Badode is the old marathi word for badoda aka vadodara.very surprising these days.
@@Aniruddha197 i m not sure about that but i live in Vadodara and It was first named Chandanavati then it became Virakshetra or Viravati then it became Vadpatraka or Vadodara which is taken from sankrit word Vadotar which means in the belly of banyan tree (because there were too much banyan trees here). But the word Baroda came from brits its same as they call Bombay but originally it is Mumbai.

Had lived in Baroda for some 5 years .. can't forget Gupta Samosas at Fatehganj.. sells faster than they can fry them.

Hi Kunal, your every episode is unique and food varities you show are different. I think sev usal is basically misal only but baroda version. Keep exploring different places in Maharashtra and India.
Just wanted to share something, me and dad use to wait for your new episodes to come and we use to watch together while having dinner during lockdowns and till now, i lost my dad in the month of July and we watched an episode just a day prior of his demise. I had stop watching because i always use to watch with him and had to courage to watch but today i accumulated will and watched this episode without him. Throughout the video and while typing too my eyes are in tears. Keep up the work your each and every episode is a piece of memory for me of my father.

Once you are back, please explore some traditional eateries Girgaon area. my personal recommendation is bakeries on Khadilkar Road and yes patti samosas at Camabaug, near Dreamland theater

Patti samosa reminds me of school days...babu vadapao in vileparle used to supply vada and samosas to parle tilak and paranjape vidyalaya in andheri parle area of Mumbai. We used to get that at 1.50 rs in those days. Now it's 18 rupees but still tastes the same.
Please go to Surat once and also please visit Ahmedabad as well.
