House Boat name is Heritage Group of House Boat. I booked through MakeMyTrip and advise you also to book through some good portal only and not by calling anyone. All shikarawala are Same and good People. Just ensure that you make them clear that you wont buy anything inside dal lake like shawls or Kesar.

Category is 2bedroom but you need to book one room only. Otherwise two bedroom ki two unit book ho jayegi

There is no check on marital status. At least this is what I noticed. You can read all TnC on JKTDC website to be safe.

if you are confused I suggest you to call JKTDC helpline number or write to JKTDC support email to check if booking is confirmed. Contact details you can find on official website.

@@amitabhagarwal5470 hi No rooms of jktdc were available for stay in gulmarg For that you have to book in quite advance Also one tip If you do not have the tickets of phase 2 of gondola ride then don't go gulmarg... your money and most important time will be wasted You can go to sinthal top it's far but you will find lot of snow Or check for sonmarg if snow is available or not Also I did not stayed in gulmarg... as srinagar is not so far so we stayed in srinagar in a homestay.. "khaas muqaam" search photos it's quite spacious and good stay Per room approx 4-5k for a day

It is on Munshi Ghat. You will have to walk from auto stand to hotel as no vehicle is allowed on Ghat area. Price is rs 3000 per night. But check on MMT.

At jktdc booking page system tell if number of people exceed the room capacity. We were two adults and one kid in one room at Gulmarg

@virendragore5242 Bro, one bedroom delux, two bedroom delux dikha to raha hai. I checked for Gulmarg just now. Book as early as possible.

Thanks for appreciation. You can check my another video on JKTDC huts stay. Will give you more insights about Kashmir trip. Don’t worry much about vendors. Have a thumb rule that you will not buy anything on street/ fall lake. Politely say no and they won’t bother you. We did most shopping near lal chowk and nothing to complain about.

@@MastMagar Good to know friend ! In which month do you guys travelled ? and how did u manage food in your huts specially Dinner and breakfast. Also, I think you stayed there for 2 days, somewhere I heard in your video.. if someone have to checkout next day and go for gandola not sure where to keep your luggage?

@@25Gupta We went in first week of March. Food you have to manage on your own. The caretakers have phone numbers of nearby food joints, they deliver in hut itself. There are no locker facility at Gandola, I belive. But you can ask care taker to keep the luggage. Just keep giving small tips and you will have amazing stay . I paid on jktdc website via credit card only. Don’t send money to any person If it’s booked noone can help. Don’t fall under trap of touts

Inside SOU entrance no bags allowed. You need to keep things in locker. However outside you can eat anywhere. The Parking has too many benches and tables. You may watch another video on our channel where details about SOU visit explained

Yes food court is very costly. However just outside gate number 4 there are several dhaba and they share good local food at reasonable rates.
