Der Mazda 787 Sound ist einfach nur krank. Der 250 GTO ist Chassis 3387GT, der zweite jemals gebaute und der erste, der an einem Rennen teilnahm (2. Platz bei den 12h von Sebring, 1962).

The screaming banshee of Le Mans. Der 787b ist einfach eine Höllenmaschine. Hab ihn sogar anfassen dürfen. 😅 Emotionen pur. Vor Le Mans hatte ich sogar Volker Weidler besucht und mit ihn ein Raceplausch gehalten. Nur die Fahrerparade, Streckenlauf und Ehrenvorstellung der Autos hätte etwas besser koordiniert sein sollen. Das war ein irres gehetze. 🤪 🏃♂️↔️ Ab 8.6.24 dann wieder dabei. 🏁

Oh my god, what an awesome image: the Welther Racing Peugeot has to be towed onto the track(!) and then all of a sudden the air is torn to shreds by the rotary engine of the magnificent machine that is the Mazda 787B! Ich wusste gar nicht, dass der EB110 jemals bei den 24h von Le Mans dabei war. Umso trauriger, das der Bolide keine LMH/LMDh version kriegt :/
Doch tatsächlich sind sie mit dem EB110 gefahren. Dies war ja auch der letzte Rennwagen von Bugatti.
Eine LMH/LMDh Version auf Chiron Basis wäre natürlich ein Traum!
