They look great Tyler, but the true test is can you put a hi lift jack under them and raise the Jeep. I do appreciate the way you found something and figured out how to make it work though! Very impressive.
I still have the OG rock sliders that came on my overland but I have the rocker rust going on. I'm going for the affordable offroad weld in rock sliders that replace the rocker panels. I think they are $350-450ish range.
Welding in square tube replacement rockers is absolutely the way to go if your rockers are rusting out. In my case, I wasn’t about to cut up a perfectly good part of the Jeep. I’d rather work on protecting what’s there to keep it that way.
@engineeringoverland The hardest part of it is the inferno red that they sprayed the jeep with from the factory to get to blend. I almost bought oe rockers and was going to do the repair but the weld in sliders seems like a good way to go for gaining ground clearance and support along with functionality.
They sell OE paint codes, otherwise check out my video where I painted the red rings on my wheels. That paint is VERY close to a match and gives the best metallic depth.
I had every plan for building my own, but you can't even get one piece of material for the price I got these fully assembled sliders. So, I made them work.
Great idea and great job !! I pick up the glove and take advantage of the opportunity I have been looking for these original mounts for a long time If anyone knows and can send it to Israel I would be very happy (of course I will pay) and grea
They look great!!!! I want to get some rock sliders for my WJ now... LOL.
They are a must have if wheeling. WJ's are BIG.

If I can find a hi-lift, I would love to test that out.
@@engineeringoverlandTractor Supply sells them for reasonable price

Great job man!
Thanks!
Love this idea, had a set of these I was planning on using on my xj, but now that I have a wj I might have to do something similar
They've worked great for me so far! Much stronger and super budget friendly.
Beautiful Cherokee where to buy the bumper I want one
id just go to my local exhaust shop and get some tubes bent up and make a set. These are easy enough to build from scratch.
Hope you're bringing thicker material to the exhaust shop and not planning on using exhaust pipe! I also should mention, I bought these for $25.
@@engineeringoverland definitely not exhaust gauge no. It's easy to pick up some thick walk tubing at any local stockist.

@@engineeringoverland @ $25 you did the right thing. Can't fault that.
Ну что могу сказать, молодец 👍 тоже о джипе мечтаю, но у нас все это могут позволить только богатые
Thank you!
