This is a great video, super easy to follow. Thank you or sharing! I want to point out that the center strands do NOT need to be 16' long. You will waste at least 4' of length on them that way. When I do this again in a different color, I will make the center 4 strands 12' long to minimize waste.
@@tuttim83 I know you asked a couple of months ago… but in case anyone else is wondering the same… this is because only half of the strands will actually be making the knots… therefore needing greater length. Half of the strands will simply be the straight middle bases… that the others wrap around.
Hola, buenas tardes aquí, desde la ciudad de México 🇲🇽. Me encanto tu trabajo y lo voy hacer para una maceta que estoy por terminar con decoupage. Felicidades por compartir
this was my first macrame ever !! it took 2 hours since i’m an absolute beginner 😅 but i had so much fun,, thank you so much for making this amazing video 💗
If I want to make this hanger longer, I'll add more rope but do I just make where the pot hangs at longer than adding more knots on top? Wasn't sure if the overall proportion will look ok or not?
Hi Izzy. Yes you can use 3mm rope however you will need less rope for this project. If you use a thinner cord, you need less rope to create the same knots. I hope this makes sense. You can always use the same measurements and tie more knots to obtain the same length :)
Hi Gabriela.... I usually I use a piece of rope to hang my ring...then you can hang the piece of rope with your ring anywhere really ( hook or nail on the wall). Hope this makes sense :)
Hi... Usually, a macrame plant hanger can hold any kind/size of pot as the cords are flexible. If your pot is small, make a smaller net by tying the square knots closer to each other (leave a smaller distance between square knots). If your pot is big, leave a bigger distance between the knots to achieve a larger net. Of course measuring the pot is the easiest way but I hope I could help :)

Good idea
Only the center 4 strands you recommend to be 12’? The other 4 can be longer as she mentioned (16’)?

You're welcome. Glad it was helpful! :)
Idon't think so
Great tutorial, easy to follow but the rope was too long for me. I'd say use 4m for each rope next time :)
Exactly
Amazing art 🤯
Thank you so much :)

Beautiful. What is the length of the final product?
Hi. It's about 34 inches (85cm). You can always make it shorter if you want or longer (but make sure you use more cord if you want it longer).
idk..
@@elocreations7494 ok. Thanks 👍

Hi there, could I use 3mm rope for this? Will there be much difference in the measurements and sizing? 💖

I want to put my airfryer how many diameters does it have?
What do you use to hang this off of while you’re making it ?

I want to make a hanger for an established plant. Cannot take the pot to measure as you do with the basket. How to measure for pot.

Which size thread ?
Hi. You can find all the measurements are in the video description. I hope this helps
Thickness?
It’s 4mm 😃
How many final diameter?
Can you tell me what the finished length is including the tassel?
