This is a very good idea, very creative, started macrame over 40 yrs ago but lost interest in it and just recently started again , it's so amazing all the different ways and ideas to make things, don't have the patience to do the complicated projects anymore, so I like easy ones like this one
I love this one. You’re a great teacher ☺️ I just made 4 of the tassel kind from your older video. (But gave one away, so I need to make another) Now I’m going to make this one 😊
I hope you feel better soon and thank you for the idea and easy to follow instructions. I tried it with only four strands because the planter was a bit smaller and it worked though more practice is needed. Thanks again :)
Thank you Emma, Thats the best tutorial I’ve seen! I’ve bought rolls of macramé cord but didn’t have the confidence to do it! Now i can feel confident! Hope you feel better soon. ❤️🪴
Amazing! Yeah this is a great one for beginners, but it might take a bit of practice! Good thing is, the knots are easy to undo and redo if needed :) good luck!!!
Hey yeah looks blimin great!! Gonna make 2 for the brackets on my balcony now seeing as the housing association have made me move all my plants off the floor on the balcony.( fire hazzard aparantly?). So will save me lots of money too. Thanks Emma. Your so creative and motivates me to do things. I used to whenbi was your age but not for 20 years or so now so brill.xx would love to see more of your creations.xx
Get well soon Emma. I remember the first video of yours I watched was the TikTok hacks video you did about a year ago and you did a simple macrame hanger on that which I adopted to hang some of my plants up, well now I'm definitely going to give this one a try. You did a very good job of showing the process to follow. Thank you 💚💚🤗🤗
Just got over Covid the second time around as well with vaccinations and boosters as I am mandated by my healthcare position. I am grateful I was not ill at all the 1st time amd only flu like symptoms the 2nd. But, I have plenty of residual side effects mainly a change in my voice since my throat was the main problem both times. There goes American Idol🎶..lol. Really though I can't sing anymore 😥. I am grateful, both times I was home with my family isolating myself and none of them got it. Hoping you feel better soon. Thanks for the tutorial. I have been making some macrame items lately and am over the fringe on everything so this is a refreshing look. 🪴💚
Glad to hear your recovered well... sorry about your singing voice though 😅 yeah it's pretty intense how everything has a tassel, I'm over the look too (at least for my home, looks great in more boho vibes places)
Emma I abasolutely love you you are my go to gal for everything plants..I just ordered 6 alocasia,s this morning. Lol now I need some plant holders to make some room..😂
Very nice! Also very nice to see a video of someone knowing why they are tying the knots how they do rather than trained monkeys stuck in their way never wondering why they did it like that in the first place, never evolving because they don't actually know what they are doing other than the technique they initially learned. Kudos!
Very nice plant hanger!! Hope you feel better soon!! My son and his girlfriend just got over CoVid again and they're both vaccinated, I'm just grateful they got over it!!❤️🥰🙏🏼
Thanks! Yeah it seems to be going around at the moment... I'm vaxxed too so hopefully can bounce back quickly. Glad to hear your family recovered well!
I hope you feel better soon ! After 2 long years of being super carefull it finally caught me too and i felt very sick. My sense of smell is still after 2 weeks not 100% back....but i am actually happy about it, i get migranes from strong perfumes/scents and i hope it stays this way:D
Thanks!! Oh no that sounds really rough (but also kind of good if you're not getting migraines anymore 😂) Luckily I've not lost any senses, mostly just exhausted, foggy, and throaty...
I dosed myself up with cold and flu 😂 and cut out all the coughing! and luckily most of it was filming my hands and the floor 🙃 also thanks! I was inspired by your tassel-less one that you gave me
What do you do with the plants when you open the windows for fresh air in the home? Can plants acclimate to draughts? I need to air out my flat at least three times a day.
Explaining knots can be confusing but you did a great job! I like not having the tassel underneath so I'll for sure give this a try. Hope you feel better soon!
Get well soon Emma! Just to let you know, Cleo can get covid too (and pass it on to other humans). As far as I know the chances of that happening is small, but it’s probably good to know.
Thanks for the concern! Luckily she's an indoor cat so doesn't really interact with anyone other than me and Joe 🙌 and if anything, he'll get it from me 😂
Literally me with covid wanting to make a macrame plant hanger and ending up on a video of a girl with covid showing me how to make a macrame plant hanger.
Watching and making it thank you Emma ❤❤❤❤

This is my 2nd time watching your video. What length cord did you start out with.
Explaining knots can be confusing but you did a great job! I like not having the tassel underneath so I'll for sure give this a try. Hope you feel better soon!
