I'm 53 and after many years of painful stiff hips and lower back pain, many doctors visits and painkillers later, doing your yoga session everyday for 6 weeks has been like a miracle cure. I can't believe how much stronger, and more flexible and stable I feel and the pain has all but gone. And even more, the relaxation is a bonus at the end of a busy day at work. Many, many thanks. This is by far the best lower back stretch I'm come across on you tube. This is very gentle and the visualization at the end is miraculous. A lot of the videos out there which say they are for lower back are not always appropriate but this video this is perfect and David really understands the connection of the lower back and the pelvic floor. I'm 67 with a hip replacement. I have always exercised and I teach water aerobics. This is my favorite holy grail workout on Sunday mornings for my hips and back. It has enabled me forestall surgery on the other hip for now. It's gentle and always opens my hip joint and lower back. When I have time, I do the longer version. Thanks.

Wow, I've been doing this for about a week now. I cannot recommend this enough. For the first time in my life I have been able to do the 1/2 lotus. This was something I thought I just would never be able to do. I'm going to persevere and am aiming for the full lotus. Thank you David. This has worked like no other programme!

I'm glad I found your video. I've been to see bone specialist, therapist with hip pain and didn't get anywhere until I try your video. It helps release the pain from my back, hip and legs. Now I don't feel those pain but when I do I know where to go.

david i need to thank u. it all started 6 months ago from a injury in the gym. which i found out i have a pelvic tilt (bad). for months i have had pain in lower back and hips. basically every day i start getting sore and tight by 3pm. by bed time my hips hurt so much i can hardley sit. found these videos and started doing them 3-5x a week. cant even begin to discribe how much they help. if i do this 2x in a row i have zero pain or tightness for days.... thank you from bottom of my heart. truly grateful eriic
this and your longer one is absolutley fantastic for me!! its just what i need to help loosen my hips and hamstrings......as a runner i now do these 3/4 days a week and have found everything improving....no pain in my hop flexors, and better form out on the road. i really appreciate you up loading this! wish i had of found them a year ago though!!!

haven't done any real exercise or stretching since a botched appendectomy about 6 years ago destroyed my stomach muscles. been having serious lower back pain ever since- this hurt but it felt like it's really going to help. I plan to do this 5 times a week! thanks so much and watch this space!

It was causing me huge amounts of pain all day that no physio could fix. Your videos have made me finally realise exactly what I was doing wrong. In two sessions my body has gone from dysfunctional to completely released and my body feels as though it could continuously extend.

Over the past five years or so, I've thrown out my back around three times a year doing routine things. Within the last year, I have experienced sciatic nerve pain about once a month, lasting the better part of a week each time. I lift weights regularly and love distance running, and the nagging pain from my lower back down to my hamstring not only impacted my ability to exercise, but - I realize now - was something I'd come to expect as 'normal'. Each time I bent down, I had an expectation in the back of my mind that my back could seize up. This is not normal. A friend of mine shared this video with me. I've done this routine once a day for a week - ONE WEEK - and already there is such a noticeable difference in my body I can hardly believe it. I no longer feel like my back could go out; I can sleep; my stride has lengthened so my running is faster and more efficient; and I'm performing these exercises better today than I was when I began. All this in ONE WEEK. I can't wait to see how I feel over time as I incorporate this into my daily schedule! Thank you, David, this has improved my quality of life.

This sequence is helping relieve my hip pain and stiffness in my thighs, though I've been taking it a little slower and holding some poses longer. Yeah, his arms are much longer than mine and he's of course more flexible, so I've been using straps and trying to be patient with myself. Great video--I definitely will check out his others!

I've been doing yoga for years, but I learned some new poses from you. I recently started running and have started experiencing lower back pain after longer runs. I felt wonderful after this. I am going to use this after running. Thank you for sharing!
