- A last-minute cancellation leaves Drew stranded in Somerset but Julian saves the day when he suggests visiting the nearby Bakelite museum. A visit to a classic car enthusiast in Doncaster has Drew revving his engines. Following up on a lead from Mark, Drew visits an out-of-the-way property in the hopes of nabbing some vintage garden urns. Drew's salvage mojo is rekindled when he gets an unexpected invitation to an old country house. The owner of Tissington Hall is looking to clear out 400 years of clutter. And from the cellar to the turret, there are heaps of unwanted gems.

I like it when we get to see the changes you make in the old pieces.
I have to say I love watching drew make deals. Love from California to the whole team.
Drew's determination to go out again and again in the search for the elusive pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, is a feeling I understand all too well. Afterall, you don't know, unless you go.
Never seen this before. Sir Richard was funny. Estate Green and 17th century flies. Really enjoyed it!
I really love the "after" shots of the thing you bring back. Would you consider doing a more deliberate form? Perhaps a before and after segment to demonstrate more directly the things you see in the pieces before they are brought out by the restoration. Side by side might work well on some of them, even from more than one angle.
Driving anywhere through London is a nightmare. Old tools are still worth money.
Yes. He made me laugh when he said there's just a lot of old tools. He has no idea how valuable they are.
A beautiful and very impressive presentation. I wish you success in your work and success. Accept my greetings.
well I wish the American Pickers show was half this good...Drew looked somehow familiar, when I froze the frame at a profile I realized he looks just like Jimmy Somerville
Jimmy Somerville is still very dishy
He does look like him
I was thinking the same thing. They stink now
That was stunning the whole show fantastic
To excuse all the forgotten dead flies, he calls them 17th century flies. Cute. I wish I could be hired to clear, sell and organize storage rooms for those old mansions. That would be such a learning experience.
I've been a collector for years and one of the most things to deal with is a private collector that you sense don't want really to sell anything, They often will get offended just asking them about something that they adamantly would never part with. I find it easier to pay a reasonable price to a seller/dealer than haggle with a private collector.
@@starquant Yes, I've been there. When you want to sell your items to someone quickly, and get quick cash. it's like leaving it at a pawn shop. You get a significantly lesser value. To get top retail value, you have to very patient , advertise, and deal with phone calls and appointments, sell at a market, or a booth at an antique shop. It's not easy.
years of clutter sounds like nearly all antique shops i have been in.
First timer here. Was drawn in by the title. When they said Bakelite, I was like hell no; I was getting ready to turn it off. Then driver says "look at that dog-look at its face." That brought me back. lol
Those houses are so beautiful, but so expensive to maintain
That last house, there's more to the cellar than that, the normally occupy the footprint of the house. And you never have a window in a wine cellar, that's a mezzanine leading to the cellar.
The big cast iron door hinges Love them My husband can repair cast iron. we've had many of these beautiful antique in for repair. I'm amazed how he gets them back into their original state
I went to his website. The man makes a killing on sales.
Nothing like moving valuable antiques and architectural artifacts to the local bar.
Dog lovers. OK instant subscriber lol.
I spotted a ghost in the first shed of the last estate.
c'est un bon Drew et un malin ¡ aha bonne année á toute l'équipe

She's at it again ! "Its wonderful" Quote For a beaten up pelmet. !!!She makes my day !!
American Pickers in the U.K. Sounds great...
Enjoyed watching 👍
Guitars show some vintage British guitars! What’s that no British made guitars ?
I agree the chairs are rusty and they look great but here in USA they throw away old stuff! You sell it! Wow!
Seems like retail prices to me. 😒
Bakelite man loved his stuff.
Pure Gorgessness
1:38 Look at the background... they're going backwards. Wut?
Glad he didn’t sell anything from the museum.
Cool show
lot twist: Drew pays 380 for the table with the paint and oil stains. Then sells it for millions as a modern art master piece.
Amanda the female Austin Powers.
I'm interested in Bakelite!
He who has no past has no future
Do You go to yard sales and estate sales and thrift stores? I find lots of collectibles there and very cheap!
Leave me be please
@@brianhardy1985 Hahaha!
Sir Richard is a Lad
Auctions are a much more efficient way to buy... you don't waste your time with people who don't want to sell.
Auctions are great. I have furnished my whole house that way.
Am I the only person who thought that Julian was referred to as Drew's "psychic" instead of side kick?
But where is all the secret technology from the mudflood era?
These guys who tell him to come and buy and then he gets there and they won’t sell anything are doing it just to get on the tv show!!!
I'm starting to hate UA-cam they say this is a new episode yet Ive seen this one about four and a half years ago
It’s not the youtube saying it, but the person that uploads it. UA-cam is just the platform for the uploaders.
@@sanjamslm - . . .but, the software calculates that. I had a YT channel - and I never uploaded anything twice or put up the number of hours it's been online. I don't use my old channel, but it's still up and it occasionally sends me an update on new subs .
There is no where in the software for the creator to indicate the age of the video. The dates are generated by the software - automatically.
How did friends become mates? They all got married male to female naturally!!!!
400 years of clutter are museum pieces.
Where is T? 🤪
British Pickers.
Gross absolutely ,,,Bargaining powers
Are these ppl into tooth restoration?
ditch the dog, interested only in items
Thats an old program,,,,dont try to sell us something its not,,,,,,,,,,
Its not fair getting Drew there and not letting him buy anything.
If he came into my place and acted like that, I would have him back outside within moments. I'm not going to discount my items so he can then re sell at a bigger profit. I didn't collect it so HE could profit on it!
I feel like he takes advantage of people. Thumbs down 👎 & good buy.
👁✌️👁
You are not a very pleasant fellow. Will not be following.
Use some of that money to fix teeth and accent
This Yankee is tired of watching some of these Brits waste Drew's time. But Drew is a bit pretentious when it comes to his "humor", cliched. Just show me the stuff and shut up.
This chap should sell some stuff…..clearly needs a haircut and new suit!
Yes sell stuff, but hair and suit? Really? Show your picture so we can critique you.
