- On a salvaging journey to the south of England, Drew and Tee are given unprecedented access to Glemham Hall's sprawling storage areas. A 1920s themed hotel and museum is filled with memorabilia, but the best items are off limits. The chaps rummage for hidden treasure at a Lancaster theater. Drew uncovers a few unusual items in an antique dealer's shed.
Drew Pritchard, the owner of one of the UK's largest decorative salvage yards, is always on the lookout for new items to replenish his stock, and he has no qualms about scouring the countryside for them. This series follows Drew as he searches for old and lost pieces of history throughout the world, including some opulent estates. But locating them is only half the battle; Drew must persuade the owner of each object to sell it to him for a good price, and then it's off to the scrap yard, where his team restores it to its former glory before selling it for profit.

I were wandering in UK in the late 70' , i love so much antiques ! I saw wonderful stuff. btw France is packed too ! I love that show I am binge watching now, personalities, accents, country views, castles and sheds. wow , it make me deep relaxed ! I love many English show, old houses renovation, historical cooking . Britt's have a way to keep they roots !

I feel so bad for Drew on some of these hunts for valuable antiques. Especially when he strikes out after long journeys for naught. Not to mention those he visits that may have a little something worth having, but then the seller’s want top….top….top dollar for the items. Which more often times than not need £100’s of pounds of restoration costs in order to try and make a few quid. What a battle it seems a lot of the time….
Again, I am curious as to why people keep so much stuff and don't sell - if you like it or want it use it. So sad to see things in forgotten storage areas..sidebar that hotel was featured on a hotel rescue show too

The hotel figured in the Hotel Inspector and the museum was a real contentious point.

🤣😂that guy is no more “from” New Orleans than I am from the moon. No hint of a southern accent at all, I wonder why he claims it as his origins? Actually, he sounds like he’s putting on an American accent. I’ve never heard anything like it. So nasal.
That’s one thing about accents, a person can have all sorts of influences that affect their speech including parents’, teachers’, and friends’ origins and speech, as well as physical issues including hearing, adenoids, etc. Also, he may consider New Orleans home because of being born there and moved away at a young age. Who knows!

I agree Greg. It's very expensive to run a business and keep staff employed. Most of the time he has to travel long distances and stay overnight and that can be very expensive.
