Me too. I sought the promise and grew frustrated when it wasn't coming to pass. Got mad at God and fell into sin, took matters into my own hands and brought so much chaos and suffering unto myself and my close ones. Now i realise nothing is more important to me than God Himself and my relationship with Him. Only He gives me peace and security. I 100% agree so for 20 years I've been working as a electrician love the job I do and in those years I was in between a believer and a none believer and out of the blue I started seeing hints and I'd follow becoming a believer but there was something else but I couldn't get it until I saw the sign so I did a 360 in my life now I work for a company as a Ux/UI designer and I can't be more happy my life change everything is in place turns out God wanted me be a designer all this time me as a child is what I used to do I used to draw and paint I change careers and if this is believing in God and he ok put me in the right path in not going back in glad I found God

Remember alcohol never heals the pain brother it only fuels the Fire. I once also had a drinking problem and honestly sometimes still do abuse it on the weekends but I used to be drunk all day everyday . Drinking ruined my entire life . I’ve mad so many bad decisions drunk and has cost me so much . The further you get away from it the easier you will find your true self
Bro/sis believe in it! I was addicted to alcohol until last month. Last year was the worst. I was self medicating my depression, anxiety, ocd and low self esteem through alcohol. I think i was drunk for 280 days out of 365 in 2023. Like freaking blacked out sh* faced. Ive been like this and im 32. Two weeks ago was my first night to not drink with buddies. Honestly, i never thought i could ever. No way id give up alcohol if it was just me. But God has his ways, maybe brutal but ive surely learnt through wisdom. Keep praying, failing and get up and pray again. I miraculously am a month sober now and not longing for drinking. You can't do it but God can surely. There's so much underlying cause for drinking that no one could touch. So much wound that i didnt know existed that i was covering up. God can see those and he will heal those. Alcohol aint a friend
God says not to worry about tomorrow but you also have to be responsible. Have a savings of paychecks for 6 months. I save a years worth of my paycheck in case of emergencies like unemployment. People, save yo money. Be responsible and have faith in God.
I’ll pray for your deliverance but you need to renounce. You need to want the change in your mind and in your heart. God is not going to force change on you. If you enjoy your sin, that is a problem you should want to sanctify yourself before the Lord. Desiring a holy life, because that is how God calls us to live. We need to recognize what sin is and then have a change of heart because we know it’s an offence against God. So for me, for example, I was an alcoholic for 13 years. I and ask God for help before, but I didn’t really want that change. I wanted it in my mind because alcohol was destroying my life. I burned every bridge ever had. But you need to want it in your heart too. I’ll try to keep this short, the Lord saved my life one night when I took cocaine lace with fentanyl. I had a flashback of a newspaper article I read in 2016 or 21 people overdose from taking cocaine lace with fentanyl in one weekend. Because of this memory that came back to me I took a very small amount on the off chance that it was laced. At first everything was fine, but then after a few minutes, something else hit me, I had a heavyweight coming down on me, his body buzz, my breathing became extremely labored, and I was being knocked unconscious rapidly. I knew I made the worst mistake of my life and I couldn’t take it back. I didn’t even know how long I was going to stay conscious for, so I dropped down to my knees and I prayed to God with everything I had, and I asked him to forgive me of my sins. I told him that I want to turn my life over to him, I kept repeating it over and over and over again. Then all of a sudden that drug was knocking me unconscious disappeared in an instant, and I was immediately filled with this overwhelming and indescribable sense of peace, I knew everything was going to be OK. I still had severe withdrawals the next couple days, but I kept praying to the Lord. On Monday October 17th 2022, I was asking for forgiveness and telling God I wanted to turn my life over to him. I said to him, I don’t wanna live this way anymore, and I asked him to take my addiction away from me. After I did this, I started questioning my own salvation, saying how could I ever be saved Lord? How can I be? How can I?I was thinking There is no hope for me there’s no salvation for me, there’s nothing I can do. Like in completely beyond all repair. I’d been an alcoholic for 13 years and every time I tried to quit on my own, I couldn’t do it I would always end up turning back to it. I’ve been taken to the hospital tied down to beds by the police, I totalled one of my dad‘s vehicles in my early 20s, I’ve lost jobs, I’ve been robbed, family fights, etc. As I was going to bed that night, a thought popped up in my head to turn my alarm clock radio on to wake me up in the morning for work. Normally my phone wakes me up or Alexa does. But I listen to that thought anyways. I have my alarm clock set to a rock station because I need loud music to wake me up in the morning otherwise I’ll just sleep right through my alarm. But on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 the words that were playing to me over the radio when I woke up were , continue praying every day. I will always love you. I will always love you. And it was the most beautiful thing I ever heard. I started crying at the time. This was playing to me over a rock station on repeat. I sent myself a text message Exactly 1 minute later, so I would never forget it and I said to myself if that isn’t a sign from God himself, I don’t know what is. So I went to work that day l, I kept my composure, and when I got home, the first thing I did was I went to my room I opened up my safe, I grabbed my cocaine, and I flushed it down the toilet and I haven’t drank or touched drugs ever since. That was a year and 4 months ago. God saved me from physical death, he saved me. Spiritually, he saved my soul, and he took my 13 year addiction to alcohol away from me. I ask you not just to want it in your mind, but Tawanna in your heart, because everything you do flows through your heart. Want this because you know it is a sin and you love God and do not want to sing against God. It’s OK see if you also want it gone Because it’s hurting you in life. But you need to have a change of heart and want it gone. If you do, God will take it away from you. Same thing with pornography. Or anything. Recognize it for what it is, evil. And God will remove it. Any sexual perversion as well can be taken away. So before deliverance is done, you should want the change and once it’s done, you need to keep those doors shut. Since as an open door for the enemy. Repent. Renounce, addiction, lust and whatever else you need to address. From your heart say “I renounce the spirit of lust and the spirit of bondage. I rebuke you in Jesus name. Come up and out of my life in Jesus name and never return. Say Father give me eyes to see and ears to hear, give me the mind of Christ, cleanse me, renew me and restore me to who you created me to be in Jesus name. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and sanctify me, cover me in the blood of Jesus, In Jesus name. I give my life to you Lord. Amen.

Stay strong. I have it too. Your brain will get used to it and it will fade over time. Try to mask it with white noise to get enough sleep, eat a balanced diet, keep stress to a minimum, and protect your ears from acoustic trauma with earplugs when in loud places. Also, your tinnitus might be muscular, in which case stretches could lessen it.

We definitely are at battle of the mind with a unseen enemy. I find that God does deliver a promise at the right appointed time when he feels we are ready or when he has something better in store for us 😊🙏🏽. He is our father and he knows what best for us. The best thing you can do is stay faithful to him not only when he gives us things. In the meantime, thank him for all he has given you. A grateful heart will take us far.
God has delivered me from p*rnography addiction and a consequential sin a couple of years ago. I had tried to leave it before, several times, with my own strength, because I knew those were sins, but could never do it, it was compulsive. Until I begged God to deliver me from those because I couldn’t do it myself, even knowing that I was disobeying Him. So, I’m here to tell you, if you’re trapped in the same sins I was, or in any other addiction, and if you need to beg God for deliverance, do it! Because God wants your SALVATION! He wants you to repent and believe in Jesus so that you can be saved through His sacrifice, through His grace and mercy! 🙏🏻
Lord God, I pray for this person’s healing… Lord you can heal them of whatever they have been through or whatever addiction they have. My God you WANT to, so do it Lord. Draw this person so close to you that all the pain fades away in comparison to your presence. Thank you for the advice and truth I am facing a tribulation, I am pretty sure of it there are many what if thoughts hahaha it’s hard and sometimes I just want to see God to be sure more like if I see God then my trust in God is true but it don’t work like that. I say I want to hear God or want God to speak to me but we’ll my actions say otherwise maybe I just want a easier way path but God don’t want that and I am not that foolish do go against God. Wow this really is a confirmation for me. I have been waiting and feeling stuck in a place I hate and I have been asking God to guide me, I am really lost and don’t know which way to go but I have learnt to wait on God. Yesterday I felt overwhelmed and cried out to God and He spoke to me, He said your blessings are not able to flow because you are living in sin. He told me specifically to stop watching pornography. This is the exact same thing you said today. Also, I remember waking up in the middle of the night, and I had a couple of weird dreams where I felt like my ex and someone else was trying to have sex with me. It woke me up and i rebuked the evil spirits and my whole body was convulsing and I had goosebumps all over my body and then I must’ve fallen into a deep sleep. This was an attack from the enemy because im trying to give up that sin. There are a couple of other things you mentioned that confirm this was for me. Praise the Lord and thank you for this message. I told him that I want to turn my life over to him, I kept repeating it over and over and over again. Then all of a sudden that drug was knocking me unconscious disappeared in an instant, and I was immediately filled with this overwhelming and indescribable sense of peace, I knew everything was going to be OK.
I still had severe withdrawals the next couple days, but I kept praying to the Lord. On Monday October 17th 2022, I was asking for forgiveness and telling God I wanted to turn my life over to him. I said to him, I don’t wanna live this way anymore, and I asked him to take my addiction away from me. After I did this, I started questioning my own salvation, saying how could I ever be saved Lord? How can I be? How can I?I was thinking There is no hope for me there’s no salvation for me, there’s nothing I can do. Like in completely beyond all repair. I’d been an alcoholic for 13 years and every time I tried to quit on my own, I couldn’t do it I would always end up turning back to it. I’ve been taken to the hospital tied down to beds by the police, I totalled one of my dad‘s vehicles in my early 20s, I’ve lost jobs, I’ve been robbed, family fights, etc.
As I was going to bed that night, a thought popped up in my head to turn my alarm clock radio on to wake me up in the morning for work. Normally my phone wakes me up or Alexa does. But I listen to that thought anyways. I have my alarm clock set to a rock station because I need loud music to wake me up in the morning otherwise I’ll just sleep right through my alarm. But on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 the words that were playing to me over the radio when I woke up were , continue praying every day. I will always love you. I will always love you. And it was the most beautiful thing I ever heard. I started crying at the time. This was playing to me over a rock station on repeat. I sent myself a text message Exactly 1 minute later, so I would never forget it and I said to myself if that isn’t a sign from God himself, I don’t know what is. So I went to work that day l, I kept my composure, and when I got home, the first thing I did was I went to my room I opened up my safe, I grabbed my cocaine, and I flushed it down the toilet and I haven’t drank or touched drugs ever since. That was a year and 4 months ago. God saved me from physical death, he saved me. Spiritually, he saved my soul, and he took my 13 year addiction to alcohol away from me.
I ask you not just to want it in your mind, but Tawanna in your heart, because everything you do flows through your heart. Want this because you know it is a sin and you love God and do not want to sing against God. It’s OK see if you also want it gone Because it’s hurting you in life. But you need to have a change of heart and want it gone. If you do, God will take it away from you. Same thing with pornography. Or anything. Recognize it for what it is, evil. And God will remove it. Any sexual perversion as well can be taken away.
So before deliverance is done, you should want the change and once it’s done, you need to keep those doors shut. Since as an open door for the enemy. Repent. Renounce, addiction, lust and whatever else you need to address.
From your heart say “I renounce the spirit of lust and the spirit of bondage. I rebuke you in Jesus name. Come up and out of my life in Jesus name and never return. Say Father give me eyes to see and ears to hear, give me the mind of Christ, cleanse me, renew me and restore me to who you created me to be in Jesus name. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and sanctify me, cover me in the blood of Jesus, In Jesus name. I give my life to you Lord. Amen.

Stay strong. I have it too. Your brain will get used to it and it will fade over time. Try to mask it with white noise to get enough sleep, eat a balanced diet, keep stress to a minimum, and protect your ears from acoustic trauma with earplugs when in loud places. Also, your tinnitus might be muscular, in which case stretches could lessen it.

We definitely are at battle of the mind with a unseen enemy. I find that God does deliver a promise at the right appointed time when he feels we are ready or when he has something better in store for us 😊🙏🏽. He is our father and he knows what best for us. The best thing you can do is stay faithful to him not only when he gives us things. In the meantime, thank him for all he has given you. A grateful heart will take us far.

God has delivered me from p*rnography addiction and a consequential sin a couple of years ago. I had tried to leave it before, several times, with my own strength, because I knew those were sins, but could never do it, it was compulsive. Until I begged God to deliver me from those because I couldn’t do it myself, even knowing that I was disobeying Him.
So, I’m here to tell you, if you’re trapped in the same sins I was, or in any other addiction, and if you need to beg God for deliverance, do it! Because God wants your SALVATION! He wants you to repent and believe in Jesus so that you can be saved through His sacrifice, through His grace and mercy! 🙏🏻

Lord God, I pray for this person’s healing… Lord you can heal them of whatever they have been through or whatever addiction they have. My God you WANT to, so do it Lord. Draw this person so close to you that all the pain fades away in comparison to your presence. Wow this really is a confirmation for me. I have been waiting and feeling stuck in a place I hate and I have been asking God to guide me, I am really lost and don’t know which way to go but I have learnt to wait on God. Yesterday I felt overwhelmed and cried out to God and He spoke to me, He said your blessings are not able to flow because you are living in sin. He told me specifically to stop watching pornography. This is the exact same thing you said today. Also, I remember waking up in the middle of the night, and I had a couple of weird dreams where I felt like my ex and someone else was trying to have sex with me. It woke me up and i rebuked the evil spirits and my whole body was convulsing and I had goosebumps all over my body and then I must’ve fallen into a deep sleep. This was an attack from the enemy because im trying to give up that sin. There are a couple of other things you mentioned that confirm this was for me. Praise the Lord and thank you for this message.
