When somone helps you. Which way you hold the rear camshaft ratchet? Inn towards the engine or out towards the driver door??
Why would one need to replace? When noticeable chain noise is heard under front cover? Or after replacing guides I guess.
over time the spring inside the tensioner gets weaker so when you start the car there is no tension on the guides causing the chains to slap the guides causing a drum like rattle for 2-3 seconds when you start the car.

@@arabianmarshmallow4415 Can a bad tensioner cause timing to be out? I have the 1200 and 1208 codes but the engine was not supposed to suffer from idler sprocket wear.
@@fakeddyfakefake9714 depending on what year your car is it can be the balance shaft which is a common issue on these cars
