Hi Namratha, I would like to know Why a lightning console app was created? Since we can add the tabs to the service console app and can create it there and also add a knowledge component to the Case layout record page [ in the service cloud app]. why a lightning console app is specifically needed?
Hey, Lightning Console App is not mandatory, It was created for demo purpose. Based on the business use case you can make use of the existing app or create a new app. Thanks SFDCONESTOP
Hello Namrata..Thanks for the explanation.... Can we show suggested knowledge articles while creating a case? Am able to see the suggestions after clicking save button of Case record.. But my requirement is to see knowledge suggestions dynamically while entering data in case record's subject or description field before clicking save button(saving the case record)...any ideas how we can achieve this?
Thanks, Yes that possible, you can check the Knowledge settings - Suggest related articles on cases and select fields as Subject it should work the way you are looking for. Let me know if this helps
***IMPORTANT*** I have Question: I have to hide Knowledge Articled based on the Record Type. Use Case: User related to Profile 1 is able to see only records related to Record Type 1, and Other Users related to profile 2 or 3 are able to see records related to Record Type 2. How to achieve this?
