I was trying to follow the steps and setup the knowledge article, all set but facing one problem, the "Suggested Articles" section just below Knowledge is coming as blank but if try to search the article its showing in search but can you please let me know why the "Suggested Articles" coming as blank. Do we need to enable something.

Hi, it is a nice video, I like it. Can someone confirm that in the live chat during the session in the transcript window knowledge component that was placed there does not show suggested articles based on the case subject entered on the pre-chat stage? In Classic it works and the agent is able to see suggested articles just after the chat was started but in Lightning knowledge component stays empty (

Previously used to our wordpress are static content website for this thing. How can we achieve this using Salesforce knowledge centre?

Hey Srikant! Amazing video! My requirement from client is that they want to use the offline pre-chat form, get the subject in which the customer is interested in and then based on that particular keyword, they want me to fetch articles and display on the chat window so that users can click on them and read. I scoured the internet but couldn't find anything as there is no Salesforce api that will let me fetch my knowledge base articles based on a certain query. Any help would be much appreciated. THank you for the helpful video. QUESTION: In each article, we are creating a Title, Summary, Question and Answer. How does a user/consumer find the right question they are looking for? In other words, when I am creating the question that the answer will respond to, do I need to include every iteration of the question in the “Question” field? Do I need to create multiple articles with different phrasings of the question to get the user/consumer to the answer?
Try using the "context of the customer". In other words, how would they search for the issue? E.g., How to reset an AppleID password vs. Reset Password AppleID. One targets how the customer searches whereas the second is how a support person would search, keyphrases vs keywords
This also applies to the body of the article. Word things as though you were explaining the steps to the customer over the phone, rather than if you were explaining it to another fellow support member

I have Question: I have to hide Knowledge Articled based on the Record Type. Use Case: User related to Profile 1 is able to see only records related to Record Type 1, and Other Users related to profile 2 or 3 are able to see records related to Record Type 2. How to achieve this?

Found the solution. Your article should be in DRAFT mode to apply the Category and after that you publish it.
